Had an amazing time. My daughter (3) had a blast with all the different rides available to her and they have a wonderful nursing room which I used for my 6 month old. The nursing room was clean and had a rocking chair, changing table, sink and fan.

This is must to go place specially with your family and friends..although one day is not good enough if you are planning to visit during peak days of seasion, there are long queues for each of the ride specially xtream rides
But overall it was very good experience.

Over priced, over crowded. On a busy day, expect Disney like lines. There are few thrilling rides. None worth waiting an hour for. I go because my kids love it. If another legitimate amusement park in the area were to open, Canobie would be in trouble. All of that said, it's not impossible to have a good time here.

First visit in forty years! Glad to see the same old rides and many new ThrilRides as well. Free water park is worth the admission by itself. Rate it eleven on a scale of ten. Hope it lasts as long as the child in all of us!

We visited on a Sunday and Pepsi family appreciation day no less. The park was so packed we drove around the parking lot twice before finding a spot...regardless of how busy they were security was a breeze with tons of lanes open.

Castaway island was BUSY it was 91 degrees when we arrived and after seeing how many people inside that park of the park I thought it was going to be impossible to enjoy it but people were friendly, lines moved fast and our 9 year old still loved it.

The park was clean and staff was super friendly/on top of things. This surprised me again because of how busy the park was. Overall it was a great experience, staff did great keeping up with demands and activities were affordable!

Canobie is the best thiem park New Hampshire has to offer. From its old iconic wooden coaster, The Cannonball, to the more modern Corkscrew. An if you feel like getting wet, Canobie has its on water part and plenty of wet rides else where. A day of fun and memories awaits everyone there at Canobie Lake Park

The value for what u get was amazing! Visited this place for the 1st time this summer. This place was clean, large, lines moving at a good pace.....live entertainment. And good tasting food though it was expensive, but that's how they make their $$ will be attending next summer

I feel that there needs to be security guards that actually follow the rules when I am telling them that my kids and I saw someone stealing. No one apparently cared to do anything. A security guard told me I was yelling and yes I called the guy that thought it was ok to steel a thief and that he should return it. I was the honest one as well as my kids and then yet I got yelled at when I was pointing to the kid. He was swearing at us and we replied to the kid that again he was a thief and to have some respect for my kids who I teach not to steal.
But.... the security guard said it was a family park. Then do your job and as a concerned parent who reported the guy steeling. Yet my kid says to me I thought steeling was not ok and why was he allowed to leave the park with what he stole from the concession stand. Then my kid says why was he upset at you? You were honest. Therefore as I was treated like trash with no respect and apparently the security guard had no morals nor respect for me nor my kids as it was ok for them to yell and for the guy to stick the stolen food in his pocket.
Today my kids who are little were most certainly confused because I teach them not to steal and they didn t understand why it was was ok that someone let the guy do it. I was told that it was a family park but yet they didn t do anything to the guy that walked out with an unpaid item. I was the dramatic one showing my kids the proper way of life. My family nor I will return to the park ever. I am disgusted at the way my family and I were treated. Like we were the trash that stole. Live by what you speak. Family Park... love my the modo because it did not seem to be the modo.

My wife and I have been coming too Canobie for four years. We love screamfest, this was the first time that I can say was a truly crap experience. Upon arrival, the parking attendants have no idea where parking spaces are available and it takes over half an hour to find a space. The walk through mazes were a massive let down. Rather than space out people going through, they simply run everyone through at once and the actors can't scare anyone since they see no way of scaring groups. I began writing this post at 10:50pm and it is now 11:50pm and I haven't moved from my parking space because of how badly the parking lot funnels out! Fix your parking lot and make it easier for people to leave your crap park after forking over nearly $40!!!

An icon of Southern New Hampshire, Canopie Lake Park is a wonderful family-friendly place. If you're interested in high-energy thrill rides like a Six Flags, this place is probably not for you. However if you're looking for a beautiful environment, well landscaped grounds and wonderful family rides this is the place. The park is consistently clean and well-maintained. Warm summer weekends, it can be quite crowded so get there early. Spring and Fall are ideal times to visit the park as it is not crowded throughout most of the day.

Definitely worth it. Staff seemed nice and happy to be there. The place seemed in good shape and pretty clean. Tickets are reasonable. Rides were mainly family oriented/ carnival style, only a few coasters.

Id like to go back to a post that Gretel Devendorf left last year I'd like to say your 10 year old did not almost die in fact she was in safe hands you see the rides have special sensors that if a restraint in not fully closed the ride will not send all of the rides have these sensors so it is nearly impossible for these rides to be unsafe the rides are checked muulitple time every morning to make sure everything is operating safely and for the other people hating on canobie yes it has flaws they all do six flags, disney land they all have flaws so get over it

Personally I live going here. It has become a tradition to go the day after school ends. I is a bit if a long drive if you life out of New Hampshire but worth it. You can leave to eat lunch and come back if you don't want to spend more money on food. Sometimes the lines are long when the park is busy so I suggest going on a Sunday or a school day

Awesome rides and lots of fun.

The best family park in New England for kids and adults all ages . Took my 13 month old twins and didnt have to worry about them missing out on the fun because they got to get on atleast 10 rides of their own , definitely worth the money , will continue to go every year .

Everything was great except when a worker from the IceJet said my child was not 48" when she's closer to 49" and this WAS THE ONLY RIDE SHE WAS NOT ALOUD ON . Worker was a young BOY who shouldn't have been working in that spot to begin with maybe he should have been a toilet cleaner . He didn't seem old enough to even have a job let alone tell a child she didn't meet the height. His stupid stick even hit her forehead twice let alone "NOT TALL ENOUGH 48"... other wise the experience was awesome and worth a full day with the family.

From a fun factor I would give this place 5 stars however there is more to an overall rating to encompass my entire experience. Despite its small size they do pack a lot of great rides. Our favorites are the Untamed rollercoaster and the Wipeout for the over 48 in our family but the little ones absolutely love every ride in Kiddieland. We seem to typically go in the Spring and Fall when we feel like we have the place to ourselves. However we just went this Labor Day weekend and it was jammed. This is where I have to take a star off as I just do not think the wait times on a busy day are worth it. We waited 30 min for a little Tilt a Whirl ride and 90 min for the Yankee coaster. The other knock against it which is a common problem at all amusement parks is that they restrict you bringing in food yet offer no good healthy food options. But if you like burgers, chips and fried foods there was plenty to indulge. Lastly compared to other parks the price is reasonable. We paid $39 for the over 48 which is actually on the low end for comparable places. All in all despite the crowds it was a lot of fun and we will continue to keep going back. Note: I have no comment on the watermark portion as we have never been.

I first came to Canobie Lake Park in the sixties as a paperboy. The Newspaper rewarded all of us kids with a free pass. It was the highlight of the summer. As a teenager, in the seventies, it was a date place. In the eighties and nineties , I brought my kids. Now I m bringing my grandkids. Almost all the other local amusement parks have closed. Canobie has endured. Not because it is the best , but because it is authentic. A real fun place to be.

Some of the arcades need some updating. There is one in the back of avoid. Most of the machines are out of order and the skee-balls have been stolen. They've got some rides, and their old classics.
Prices are what you'd excerpts from an amusement park. Bathrooms seemed well maintained.

I really enjoyed the screemfest event... It was a little pricy in the end but had alot of extras.. I think the haunted houses should have had a little more story line instead of just scary characters jumping out. I also bought the express pass for another 25 dollars a person... But it was worth it. The regular lines were hours long. They had scary characters throughout the park that were really great. Rides were open all night too... So there was alot to do.

Fun!
