Cannon Cars Limited Review

Although he arrived on time my husband struggled to close the door when I suggested the driver get out and do it for him, he refused saying there was a car behind him! Didn t seem to know which way to go and was sarcastic when told. Then took us out of our way (would ve ended up in Eltham and we live near Bexleyheath!). When we got annoyed he told us to calm down! When we finally got home he told us he was disabled. Very unprofessional will never use again.

Perfect service! Fast and clean!! Nice cars and polite drivers!! Very nice company!! CANNON!!

Drivers are always on time and nice, helping with extra baggage and overall has a good price, even better with advance booking!

I had to get a last minute ride to Gatwick at 4am short notice and had an absolutely fantastic driver. He was very thoughtful and helpful.

Ordered a 6 seater online day before only to have a regular taxi arrive. When driver asked control, no 6 seaters available so told can either have another cab (and pay for both!) or make another arrangement. Needed to get to party so had to pay for 2 cabs. Then return turned up 15 minutes late after venue closed so stood in cold. Really poor service.

Superb service, bang on time in Central London early evening, great journey home, would recommend driver Chanel and Cannon Cars to everybody. Top notch

Thank you to John for taking amazing care of me on Sunday. I was running late but he got me where I was going in time and calmed me down on the way. Expertly handled and a true Gentleman, he said to tell his bosses he needs a raise - and he does. Thanks again Susan x

Terrible cab company. Driver was late to pick us up from the airport and was constantly using his phone while speeding. When it came to payment he charged more than the price we were told over the phone and we could not pay by card so we had to go to the ATM to withdraw the cash. When we finally got dropped off after going to the ATM he had the cheek try and charge us for that journey claiming the extra 1 mile (to the ATM and back) was not included in the 95 mile airport journey. Terrible company. Avoid and use one of the many other nearby local competitors.

After such a long relationship with Cannon I am disappointed to see the way customer service has downgraded over time! Rude reps, drivers lack regard or respect for customer's time! Late pick ups and overcharging customer for the wait and the overall journey has become a norm! Lacks professionalism!

I have give this company one star as it did not show up and made me stressed and late for work... Booked for 540am. No show is not a cab service. It's a wind up.

Absolute joke of a service. Booked a cab yesterday evening for the airport and no cab has turned up this morning.

Rung the office to find out where it is and have been accused by the handler of not making a booking.

Unreliable - avoid!

I contacted Canon Cars directly as requested in their response to this review.

They confirmed that they could clearly see both my calls on the system but that neither of the people I spoke to made the booking.

They apologised for the error and offered me a discount on a future Airport Transfer.

Booked early morning taxi to Gatwick which arrived ahead of appointed time.
Whilst abroad, I had to change travel plans and I e mailed to change the pick up time and day of arrival back in the UK. This was immediately changed and I was e mailed to confirm the changes.
The driver was waiting for me on arrival at Gatwick, texting me on landing to say he was there waiting for me to collect luggage. I was then helped to the taxi and returned home promptly.
Vehicles were modern, clean and roomy.
Overall an excellent service. Would highly recommend them.

Used Cannon Cars to take us to Stansted and then pick us up again when we came came from our Summer Holiday. The same driver, Mark, drove us both ways and was a delight. Great service and we look forward to Mark driving us again when we go away in December.

When I went to Gatwick last week my cannon car's driver was most helpful and considerate in settling me into the car especially as I had recently had to have two back ops and was in need of assistance.
for the first time ever , driver asked for my favorite radio station! Fantastic customer service. thank you cannon 88 , will ask for you again and definitely use cannon cars .

First and last time user of this shower. I had prebooked the week before and specifically said I had a particular train to catch . The car be erected turned up. I phoned the office who said the staple answer of " sorry he's running late" which is no use whatsoever.very unreliable.

my company use these guys nearly ever day to make delivers and take me home most evenings after work and have never let me down, great company and the drivers are lovely, i now know most by name :) thank you for a great service.

Worst service, they got confused with arrival time of flight and they went 5 hours early and asked me to pay the price for that booking... I was using this cab since long time nearly 8 years but nowadays it has become the worst.. I would have give zero star...

Never used this firm before, but saw their advert in the foyer in The Churchill Theatre (I saw Pride & Prejudice - it was great - and so was Mr Darcy!).

Whenever I call they have all the relevant details to help me make it easier to book. It's very easy to book online now and you get the same great service.

Excellent, on-time service received for airport run - outbound and return. Polite, experienced drivers who knew the roads well to get us there in the best time. Have used them for a previous airport journey and received equally good service. Online booking options a big bonus while traveling abroad, as you can make reservation using free wifi! Will definitely continue to use them going forward.

Thanks to Cannon Cars for transporting 5 of us from different addresses to & from Gatwick returning yesterday. We had the same excellent driver both ways & he was waiting at Gatwick on our return. It was great that the comfortable people carrier had facing seats & it really added to the enjoyment of our holiday that we were so well looked after. We have been using Cannon Cars for 30 years & always had excellent service.

Used this company for 25 years or more great drivers feel safe with them. Never use uber
