Cannon Beach Conference Center Review

I went here for a three-day women's Christian conference last weekend. The speaker Susie Shellenberger was amazing, the place was nice and the food was incredible. They even made a killer butternut squash "spaghetti dinner" for my special vegetarian meal request that was incredible. I would recommend this place again. The only main issue I had was that the place was a little outdated in building and furnishings, not that modern at all, and the cafe folks kept messing up on my order several times over the course of a day. They are making a very expensive addition to their dining area that will be ready next year. But overall the whole experience was great and everyone was fairly friendly, so I won't let picky things like that affect their rating.

I have been coming to Cannon Beach Christian Conference centers family and womens retreats with my mom since I was 5 years old. This is one of the most beautiful places to get away and worship our God, be loved by the staff, eat some of the best food, make new friends, and not to forget one of the most beautiful beaches. It is a blessing to be here!!!

Stayed a weekend here in the fall, it was a very nice place. Under some construction it is updating and increasing the size of it's dining hall and kitchen area (I believe this will make it even better). The staff was very friendly, professional, and welcoming. The grounds were clean and well kept. The food was delicious and the amount was incredible. Program was well organized and grounds were easy to navigate, paved pathways and well lit at night. The speaker was well chosen for the group and made the trip worth every penny.

What a great facility. I really enjoyed the people there. I had been wanting to visit for some time and I'm glad I finally made it out.

Great place for a retreat. Just wish it hadn't been raining when I was there, but hey, it's the Oregon coast! What did I expect!

A wonderful location in a great town. Enjoyed the views, the host camp is great. The food is tasty and carefully prepared. We had our conference gathering and speaker in the area above the check in. I enjoyed also going to the town and seeing a few shops.

The laundry service alone makes the facility excellent.

I attended the women's conference last September for the first time and was so spiritually uplifted, I can't wait for the next time!
The staff was wonderful, the quality of speaker and praise band was excellent, and the location is beautiful.

A place of rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation! They've gone above and beyond in making accommodations around COVID. Although, I did miss having the morning meeting with 2 meetings a day. Because of COVID, there's only one meeting a day. My family has been going every year for over 15 years.

This is a great place for a family get together. The church services are fantastic and they even serve food free of charge with your stay.

Best family vacation spot ever. 1 week here to rest and rejuvenate for the next year.

Cause it's awesome and really fun.they have fun activities like zip lining the giant swing and a challenge course for mibble schooler's and high schoolers and of course a photo scavenger hunt and a carnival. And on your free time you can go to the beach with you and your family and friends.

The place was very clean and the staff where vere freindly and can help with most problems. The food served was very nice and was plenty of everything. The rooms acomidated to to three persons and had plenty of towels and info about the grounds and outside places. I would definitly recomend this place. To family's outing. I won't spoil you with all they have here. But your kids will like what they are doing while your doing yours. Have fun.

What a great atmosphere for family time and learning

Loved the Tides building. Food is excellent. Cannon Beach is such a fun city to enjoy and explore. Lots of good seafood at a variety of restaurants.

Everytime we stay here God speaks to us through the guest speaker. Great food, service, accommodations, and beautiful location. Just can't get better than this!

What an amazing place. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the place is beautiful. Convenient to walk everywhere and such an amazing time. I hated to leave. Can't wait to go back.

We began attending family conference a few years back after years of encouragement from friends. Now, we can't imagine our summers without it. Even our youngest child who wouldn't leave my sight without tears, begged to go into the nursery after her first time there. We've often compared it to summer camp/VBS for the whole family... and, since they cook the food and provide the family entertainmnent, Mom (me) truly gets a vacation.

I love, love, love this place. I would give 10 stars if I could. I went here for a weekend women's retreat, and I was beyond blessed by the gorgeous facility, the stunning surroundings and the beautiful souls that keep it running. They have a wide range of accommodations (which makes it affordable for every kind of budget).

The conference center is a few steps from the gorgeous Cannon Beach. The nearest beach entrance is at the northern, less populated end (the famous Haystack Rock is at the south end of the beach). If you decide to take a quiet walk, the beach is perfect. Also, the little shops and restaurants are even closer than the beach.

I loved every second I spent here. I've been looking at dates to return. They have a calendar full of retreats and gatherings which means they have something for everybody. Check it out, it will change your life for the better.

Lovely location, amazing food, comfortable lounge areas and the beach is just across the street.

Terrible place to work. A for-profit business taking advantage of people (especially volunteers) under the guise of mission work, I really can t recommend it.

A peaceful, yet informational conference area that enhances the Spiritual aspects of ones life.

Great place for the whole family! Kids are kept busy with their own activities. They feed you great meals for the whole family. No washing dishes. Beautiful beaches.

I've never attended conferences as a guest, but I worked here for two and a half years. The conference center is something special and offers EVERYONE, believers or non, a unique experience that can transform lives. I've seen it first hand, and experienced it first hand. The guest speakers have ranged small town NW pastors to internationally known leaders like Luis Palau. Summer conferences are a great time to get away and experience spiritual reconnection with your entire family. The off season provides retreats for your church or organization. They also offer daycare and after school programs for local North Coasters! The conference center is doing great things! I'm so thankful I got to be a part of that and that they played such a huge part in the direction of my life!

Fabulous conference center located on the beach. The setting itself makes this a great experience. Great meeting spaces and eating/sleeping accommodations. Friendly staff always willing to help.

My family and I have had the tremendous honor to have been guest here on a few occasions. We had sunk ourselves not only into the spectacular views of nature; but into the very presence of YA (Yeshua).

We have put this location as a must go to when in Oregon.

We had a wonderful time! My church ladies had a weekend filled, faith filled, renewing our spirit weekend. The food served was done with friendly service, and the dinner, breakfast, and dinner again was very nice..I will go again!!

Amazing place with exceptional hospitality and service. As close to heaven on earth as you will find... for now.

Have been going to cbcc with my family since I was a toddler. Always a wonderful vacation and spiritual retreat. There are both newer and older accommodations, as well as very affordable accommodations. This is a wonderful place for families with kids as there is a kids program with lots of fun activities. Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining hall every day. By next summer (2019) at least part of the brand new dining hall should be up. If you want want an affordable week long or weekend vacation with a focus on God, this is a great place to stay!

My family went to CCBC for a week every summer for many years. Some of my favorite childhood memories were there. The youth group activity s were so fun. I even liked the adult meetings when I went to those. The speakers were always so enthusiastic, entertaining, and inspiring. When I have a family of my own I plan to continue the tradition.

Excellent retreat center! The location is right on the beach so views and beach access cannot be beat. Food is great, staff is friendly. Some of the accommodations are older and not in the greatest conditions but are Okay.

Great place to have family activities. The food is fabulous and their building a bigger chow hall. Very reasonable. Downtown Cannon Beach has great places to shop for art.

Absolutely wonderful place to relax and learn about God. The food is excellent, the speakers very good and the location is prime!

Strongly recommend that you book a stay here!

The city of Cannon Beach deeded the property and gave tax exempt years ago and the relationship to Cannon Beach has been positive, locals have access to many uses of this property.
