Food was okay. Wide variety of options. Service was above average. Prices were high.

Cool place but felt mislead about it being a brewing company. They don t serve their own beer but do have a large selection of beers similar to any bar, pub, saloon, tap room, etc.

Here we go again. Hostesses are severely lacking in what their role requires to fulfill the position. Took our party of four to a tiny table wedged in-between two other tiny tables with four people each. Hubby asked "could we take one of the empty booths?" Gal gets irritated and tells us we will have to wait if that's is what we want. I looked around and counted 6 empty booths. She walked us back to the door. Greeted a party of two and walked them straight to one of the empty booths that I had counted and walked past on our return to the door. She returned and avoided us, chatted with another hostess and after a few minutes told us to follow her. She led us to a booth right next to the two top she sat that had been empty and clean the whole time, but hey I guess she had to have control and punish us?!? Who knows the thought process for such a display of ridiculousness. The waiter was very friendly and super prompt. Food was ok for a brewery and the bar drinks came very quick which is always nice after a day of walking around like tourists! Amazing how the one person who is responsible for greeting and welcoming patrons can make the whole experience off-putting simply because they cannot appropriately respond to a request in a professional manner as they are paid to do.

Not a brewery but they have other beers on tap. Appetizers were ok, nothing special.

The waiter was very friendly and the beers he recommended were very good and he was attentive and kept his distance at the same time, will definitely go back next time I visit

Known for the short ribs grill cheese... they were ok. They charged 50 cents per beer to try a sample. The restroom were not clean.

This place is NOT a brewery, should be called a tap house. Beers on tap are over priced.

Good ambience. Beers was a mixed bag .. very limited vegetarian food options ...

I reckon I must have been to different place to most of these other people. My first trip to the States, second day in and we found ourselves here. Looked at a few other places but really pleased we opted for this one. I had probably the best steak I've ever had (I'm 53) as did my wife. The beer was first rate, particularly the local brewed. Staff very attentive and efficient. Coming from a Brit who hates deferential toadies that's the supreme compliment. I'd recommend it.

This is NOT a brewery. Do not call yourself a 'Brewing Company' if you don't make beer...having said that, the food was good and the draft beer selection was acceptable. So don't go here if you are looking for a 'brew'pub experience. Otherwise, go for it.

Fun, huge, great servers, good chili. Huge selection of tap beers.

While the service was OK it was the food which made me hate my experience here. Don't fall into this tourist trap.

Tried coming here a few months ago, but our party was too large, and the place was packed to the brim. (Well it was Memorial weekend) Well now, over six months later, I finally got to try this place out.

I'm really surprised that this place only has 3 and a half stars. While the prices are a little higher than I would expect, the service was great and the food even better. I had the short rib grilled cheese sandwich and that bad boy was fantastic! No joke! One of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I've ever had in my life. The wife had the panko fried fish which also tasted amazing.

They have a ton of beer too, but that in itself isn't what makes this place special. It's really the food. It's becoming harder and harder to impress me, but this place did. A great spot in Monterey for sure.

Food came out fast, service was great, and food was tasty. Bathrooms weren t clean. Good music.

They would not close door and it was freezing cold. They claim the door was broken so I believe this is a fire hazard. Plus the bugs and birds coming in are a health code violation too. I'm a local and have been therefore before but the food was mediocre for the price, I thought I'd give them another chance but I think not!!

Great selection of craft beers from around the country on tap. Staff are knowledgeable about the beers. Food selection is typical pub fare, excellent quality! Friendly service.

Bar Man forgot our food order and had a terrible attitude. Under no circumstance visit this place for food. Beer is good though.

I was very disappointed that it's called a brewing company and they do not make there own beer. They serve a wide variety of beers however the beer was higher prices then most. Bartender did not seem to want to be working or to have people at the bar. Needless to say I did not stay.

The food was ok, but it just seemed way over priced for what you actually got. The floors, seats and tables were sticky. Just over all a "so so" experience. When we go back to the area the only reason we may go in is to get this amazing root beer they have on tap. That is another thing it was 3.50 for a soda, and the root beer was 4 bucks.

Fun place with live music. Very casual and friendly to all comers. Great place for a fun Friday night. No drinks on the dance floor though!

Great food spot. Service can be hit and miss and the bathrooms are in a weird spot. But the food and drinks are usually good.

Fun little brewery in the heart of Cannery Row. A little pricey for locals (definitely trying to hit up the tourist crowd) but a good place nonetheless.

Stop what you are doing and order their chicken and waffles. We only have so much time on this planet.

This was a fantastic place to start our adventure. The two young ladies that served us, Kelly and her trainee, were a joy to chat with. The only reason for a loss of a star was the pricing was a bit overwhelming at the end of our trip. The cost of the food didn't quite match up to the quality of the food in my opinion. Certainly worth visiting as a couple, but as a family of 5, maybe find something a little more on the cheap side

Everything here was great! Our waitress was awesome. Don't think our drinks were ever empty and it was a busy Saturday night! My wife had a salad with a hi. I almost stole it. I had the short rib grilled cheese sandwich. This might have jumped to my favorite sandwich ever. All in all, a great time. On our next trip to Monterey we'll definitely be back!!

The moscow mule was not very good. Bartender forgot to put my order in but put in my dates order. My date finished his food before I even gotnmy taco order in. The chicken seemed boiled and flavorless. Will not return for food here

This is a taproom, not a brewery. Food was delicious, huge portions, and a bit expensive. Nice beer selection. Fine place to watch a game at.

Service was great, beer was cold and food was good. I d even say it was reasonably priced, I m used to Bay Area pricing mind you. The only bad thing I have to say is someone gave themself a 50$ tip on my 80$ bill, I intended to tip 20%, hoping this is a mistake and will be ironed out. I have called and left a message, will update my review if resolved.

Beer was great....the pretzel with the beer cheese sauce was absolutely fabulous!

I ordered an ace berry cider. . They only serve it in 10oz cups. That's kind of ridiculous. We stopped in to have a few drinks, but after being served once, we weren't asked if we wanted another round. So we decided to leave. After my husband was ignored repeatedly, I had to in a loud voice for the check. Anyway... I wouldn't atop here again if I visited Monterey Bay.

A good beer selection but it's not a brewery so no in house beers. Decent kids menu and our 6yr old was well looked after. However the main menu is mainly burger and sandwiches which while were reasonably quality were well overpriced. I appreciate its a tourist trap but we still left feeling short changed. Our waitress also had far too many tables to look after meaning service was slow.

Very disappointing second experience. The only saving grace of this restaurant is their beer selection.

Greasy fries, overcooked burgers and poor service on both occasions. I will not be returning.

If you call yourself a brewing company then make your own beers, otherwise change it to a brewpub. That being said, it does have a great selection of beers on tap.

Food was good and staff were also nice. Good value considering everything in Monterey is pretty pricey.

This place used to be good. Had huge beer selection and decent food. Times have changed. Looking at the tap handles one would think they have 40+ beers. When you look st their nearly blank menu you see that they only have 5-6. Food options have also greatly declined.

Would avoid until new management can turn things around.

Great beer selection, good food, but I went for trivia night once and it really lacked energy. The woman running trivia seemed to really care less, she brought no excitement to the event.

This is a great place. They have some wonderful beers (both macro and micro brews) available and the food is quite tasty. A little on the pricey side, but the portion size makes up for it. Very cool interior (in terms of decoration) and VERY close to the main drag there (couple blocks up the hill).

OMG this place is the B-O-M-B. Absolutely delicious chowder, burgers and sides PLUS an amazing selection of microbrews. The atmosphere is casual and they have these weirdo tabletop speakers so you can listen to the football game showing on TV but right at your table. Definitely will be visiting again!

Great place. Plenty of families, couples and groups enjoying themselves when I visited. Huge selection of beers, lots of sport on TV, good food and very friendly staff.

Was not very good. There were 3 of us in our party and none of us liked our food. Service was very slow took 10 minutes for drink order, 25 for entree order, and 15 minutes to get the check. I find that places that have been on Food Network usually aren't the best.

Nice place, good food, seated quickly, great server.

Great spot for Happy hour, short walk from the aquarium. We had the pole and a burger. Poke was good, burger not so much, which was surprising.

It's a place where Guy Fieri reviewed the fried chicken. May try that if we come back.

Brendan was our waiter. He provided top flight service. My lady and I were greeted by a friendly receptionist and sat out by the fire pitts before we got our table. The waiter, looked a lot like Clark Kent, forget his name, recommended some great beer and looked disappointed when we moved inside....like he actually was enjoying our company.

I got this burger that was worthy of its own bible verse. The long Island iced tea was the second best I ever had since the first one I ever tried when I was a wee babe. My girl got this braised beef grilled cheese where they let the outer cheese toast on the skillet so it lays and becomes crispy. They serve it to you that way so you get crispy cheese chips that can be broken off with your sandwich. I got this jar full of chocolate cake, fudge, ice cream, and caramel that was worth the 12 dollars that I shared with my girl. They had live music playing Friday night which was appropriate and not to loud for the seen. I look forward to coming here again.

A little disappointed that this is not an actual brewery. With that said the beer selection was great and the food was good so I can't complain too much.

Great selection of beer on tap with a wide selection of sandwiches, burgers and appetizers. Sauces added to the interesting flavors.

Stopped in for some chicken wings. They smoke them for a couple of hours. I'm not usually into smoked meat, however it wasn't overpowering and the blue cheese dressing was really delish! Place is a little overpriced, but what do you expect, it's Cannery Row. The service was attentive.

The beer selection is awe-inspiring but it gets expensive quick! The food was very good; we had the meatball sub, short ribs grilled cheese, and pulled pork. The smores dessert could have executed better but the monkey bread was fantastic.

NOT A BREWERY. Worst tuna melt I've ever had in my entire life.

It was the best meal, we had while in California! Great pub food, lots of beers to choose from. Wish we had one in Florida
