Good selection, good food, but NOT A BREWERY. It's a tap house. Disappointed they didn't have beers of their own.

Great beer selection and a really knowledgeable bar staff. We only drank here so I can't speak to the food they serve.

Great atmosphere and BBQ smoke smell. Unfortunately the high end prices didn't justify the taste. The house salad was delicious and filling, first time tasting a watermelon radish.
$8 for kids Mac n cheese in a soup cup was steep especially since the noodles were over cooked and cheese was tasteless.
$17 for the BBQ grilled cheese. Taste was there but not sure why price so high?
Service was lovely and efficient.

Not a terrible experience, but they won't split checks, so I won't be returning with my friends. It's 2018, and the technology makes this a simple process. Also, I didn't expect to be charged for the small beer sample that was offered. Overall: meh.

The only reason I'm giving this three stars instead of two is because they do deserve some credit for a cool vibe, close to downtown. But I will warn you their food and cocktails are extremely overpriced for what you're getting.

The biscuits were a little dry, the portabella burger was ok, the fries were ok, but definitely not worth the money we spent. Come here for the vibe, not the overpriced food

This place is not a brewery or a brewing company the name is deceiving. The food is good nothing to rave about. They sell micro brews and a few commercial ones. Stay away if you are looking for a brewery house experience.

Pricey but tasty family fare with a decent beer menu. We went with our three year old at lunch time and the staff were quite happy to deal with our (and everyone elses) children.

Great choice for lunch or dinner. Solid food, especially good for such a touristy area. fantastic beer selection. Highly recommend the soft pretzel app, it us HUGE! One can easily feed 4. I got the short rib grilled cheese....over the top and amazing. You will not be sorry. Service was fast and friendly.

I've been to this restaurant multiple times. The food, and the beer are really very good. The only issue that I've ever had is on one occasion they seemed to be out of almost everything on the menu. Our waiter couldn't seem to get an updated list, so every time we ordered he came back to tell us they were out. After this happened a few times we just had some dessert (which was wonderful) and a few beers. The atmosphere is nice, and the staff is helpful and attentive. It can be difficult to find parking sometimes.

Not bad food but nothing special. Very expensive for the food... Bought a beer and burger and with tip I spent $30!

Husband and I stopped in for a quick beer about 11:30am. Brian was an amazing bartender and very knowledgeable about every beer he was serving. We ended up spending over an hour and a half talking and sampling the various beers. Hands down some of the best service I have ever received. Thank you Brian for sharing your love of beer with us.

exceptional food! The pretzels are so perfect! They have a great beer selection. The whole place has a cool vibe and looks cool, too.

Nice selection. Prices may be a little higher due to location but the food is good! Large bar area in beer selection.

So first off, the menu on their website is outdated. We came here specifically for the cheddar bacon biscuits and they didn t have them. Second, my burger was very well done when I asked for medium rare. The final nail in the coffin for me was their honey mustard, it tastes like normal mustard with a teaspoon of honey mixed in. Really disappointed for a restaurant featured on the food network...

The decor reminded me of applebees, cheap and cliche. The service was sub par at best. But the food, I can't complain. Prices are a to high for the portion size, is not fine dining.

New to the area and came here looking for a taste of local brew. We were greeted by dim lighting and a potent fish smell.

The bartender was a bit rude after we declined what we thought were food menus from the waitress, not realizing they doubled as beer lists.

We left without ordering when we realized that they only had their own beer occasionally. We won't be back.

Really good. The food was better than expected and although the beer selection was limited, it was adequate.

They were "out" of the Giant pretzel. The hostess had no energy. And, the cereza sour cervesa was a bit flat. Other than that, great place! (One beer = $15)

extremely pleasant service and great meal...the grilled cheese was what we expected and more and pretzel was likewise perfect! bust best part was the service, the hostess after hearing our plans to visit San Francisco gave us a huge and detailed list of things to see and do there! We Have been to hundreds of restaurants and this is the first time we go this type of personal attention!

First of all, this place is not really a Brewing Company. They have only one beer that they make, and it isn't even made at this location. My husband and I stopped in here during our stay in Monterey looking for a quick bite and some good craft beer. We ordered the mini corndogs, which were delicious and ordered a beer each. I ordered a coffee porter, and was brought a beer that was definitely not a porter (still good, but very very strong (probably an american strong ale) and was more amber in color). We asked our waiter and he assured us that yes, indeed it was a coffee porter, and then offered to get us something else. I'm not sure if the wrong beer was just poured or the keg lines were switched, but something was wrong for sure. He then charged us close to $30 for my beer, which was entered incorrectly and had to be fixed. Overall, the food was good and the outdoor patio with the fireplaces is nice, but we had a much better experience at another actual "brewery" downtown and probably wouldn't be back to this location.

If you love beer.. come here!! Like 50 tap beers available!

Great choice of beer on tap. A must for anyone who likes exploring beers.

Cup of clam chowder. Pastrami sandwich. French fries. 2 Lagunitas IPAs. 3 Ninkasi dawn of the red beers. That s what I ordered. $67. Fair. Not cheap. Nice place. Lots and lots of beer options. Was pretty empty when I was there. On a Thursday. Just before closing.

Amazing burgers, amazing beer selection, though the imported Belgian beer was not up to snuff. Great for dinner.

Had a great experience. As an appreciator of beers, CRBC had a great selection for all tastes. My wife and I both had the Mahi Mahi Tacos and they were fantastic. The best part of the experience was our waiter Rudy who seems to have an intuition about customer service that is second to none. Loved the casualness.

Foods okay. Not my type of place. Would not go again. Service was ok too.

No doubt these reviews are fabricated. Visited again last week. Worse than last time. This place is on its way out. Apparently only one vendor will provide beer because they don't pay bills. DO NOT BREW BEER. Only local brewery worth drinking (Mad Otter won't sell to them according to staff). GOOD LUCK

Place looked great with about 44 taps on the wall! Promptly walked out when we were informed only 4 beers were available. The faint smell of burning brake pads added to the decision to leave.

Great selection of beers on tap, and nice outdoor seating with fire pits that is dog friendly. Don't expect fine dining, or a cheap meal, but for what they offer in the area, its a great spot to relax and enjoy some beers and pub fare.

Decent selection of beers and average pub food. Prices are higher, but it comes with the area. Waiter wasn't the friendliest and didn't have any suggestions on food or beers.

Great place to grab beer and a small bite. Prices are a little expensive for certain items. For example, my Carne Asada fries were about $18 which is in the high end for Carne Asada fries. They have a huge beer selection.

CLOSED!!! As posted on Yelp. Walked by there at 4pm on Sunday 12/1/19. Lights on the neon sign are lit, but no one home.

Nice place! When all their desserts were little too much for us they made a custom Sunday for us.

1) They very happily turned the music down for me when I asked, which made eating here mich more pleasant for my sensory needs.

2) The food is amazing. I recommend the short ribs grilled cheese with garlic fries.

3) Our waiter, Rudy, has an extensive knowledge of the beer selection and made great recommendations. He was also very accommodating and made our dining experience superb.

Expensive. Beer is super expensive. Food is eh. Nice atmosphere, but that s about it. I usually don t leave worded reviews, but felt it was necessary.

We left after sitting and waiting for our drinks. We walked right in, so it wasent that busy. We will never return.

Great place to get a beer! This is close to everything like the aquarium, downtown restaurants and all the fun Monterey has to offer. Try the different beers at this amazing brewery ! Have an appetizer while your at it. Great place to watch your favorite sports team and relax with family and friends

Ordered fish and chips. Figured I couldn't go wrong. The fish was completely ordinary and a bit short on portion size. The chips (fries) were plain and in need of flavor, not crispy at all. Ordered a beer to go with my meal. Some how with my meal, my wife's and two kids meals the bill came to $100! Way to ordinary of a meal for the price. Won't be back.

Tasty pretzel and burger, fresh bear with unique taste and friendly crew. Music was a little nosy for lunch time.

Decent bar food. Shouldn't be called a brewing company if no beer is brewed there and all beer on draft is from another brewery.

Waited over an hour to be seated. Never received a text saying our table was ready.. finally went back to see what was going on. Etc.. were about to be seated finally, here's the kicker. LATE NIGHT MENU ONLY.

You would think getting there at 8:40 would guarantee us a real meal and not stale nachos. If I could leave negative 5 stars I would. But our waitress was awesome so she brings it back up to one star.

We've always had very good service with each server, last night, Tricia.
She was happy, prompt, well-informed, accommodating. You can really get your burgers cooked they way you want, even if it's medium rare.
Ours arrived perfectly cooked. Juicy and flavorful, as well. They use very good meat. We appreciate nice meals and a good experience when we go out. I am sorry for the negative reviews, all goes back to who's in charge (at the time). Owners need to be careful, mindful when wanting to build a business. We'll certainly go back, thanks Tricia, food runner & kitchen staff!

Great beer selection, tasty food, ambiance was good, outdoor dining was nice, washrooms were disgusting though.

Amazing food, but the name is misleading. It does not actually brew it's own beer. However, it does have many beers to choose from.

Good food...went here because it was pet friendly...good atmosphere..

Our nachos got soggy while simply waiting to get a second drink. Hostess and server were nice but getting service wasn't easy.

Servers were uneducated about beer. But then again they don't brew beer here they just serve it. They have 75 beers on tap so you would think they would be a little educated but nothing. Took awhile to get the food, ordered the nachos, they were decent. We ate during the day and it seemed really slow but the food took forever.

Great beer selection and really good food. Had no idea that it was featured on tv, but their supposedly famous dish, the bbq pork grilled cheese was everything the server claimed it to be and then some! Went for lunch on a Friday at noon, and we had the place to ourself, would definitely come back the next time I'm in town!
