Candy Apples Dance Center Reviews

My daughter had an absolutely horrible experience here. Would not recommend.

I thought this was for reviews of Candy Apples Dance Studio. Unless you or your child dance or have danced at CADC you really shouldn't be giving reviews, it's really misleading.

HORRIBLE!!!! I hate this place it has bugs and rats everywhere and once I saw a dead rat in the bathroom

I have never been to the studio but her dancers aren t terrible they re actually pretty good her choreography isn t bad and drama is fake on the show even the dancers said that

EVEN if it is on reality tv, she should have NOT acted like that towards Abby and the moms for not being a team player. Don't care if she's "sweet" in real life, but when her personality on tv is shown, that is what people see.

Cathy reminds me of my dance teacher, Patti .. when I was young I won comp. too & even too it to NYC w/ Vogue Model & Talent when I was a young teen & WON at the comp.
Her jazz dance reminds me of ours & I am sending her music .. I am an internationally played, award winning artist . had music on tv/on demand & pitched to ABC 'Nashville'
I dont really care what she does w/ the aldc .. I enjoy the DANCE & DANCERS too so, go cathy & CADC

Horrible, the owner is rude and obnoxious and only talks about Miss Abby. Had a better experience with ALDC.

I recently went to this studio to audition to be on the team. I was turned down only for not knowing how to do a front aeiral.

Terrible experience she is nicer on the show and ruder in real life I am not bringing back my daughter here again

i love candy apples and they dance lovely but if it were my choice abby lee millers dancers are better

cathie is my favurit dance mom and she is so nice and sweat.

The coaching was not good for the price Cathy was very rude and not nice to the kids. Very unprofessional. She would put young kids in teen dances to make the age go down which is cheating. She very much had favoritisms and didn t care about a lot of the kids.

The teachers are very rude. My sister went there for a couple months and her passion for dance disappeared. She doesn t want to dance anymore even though it is her life. The cadc has ruined her childhood and possibly her life. Not to mention the owner, Cathy was one of the rudest most disrespectful people I have ever met. Because of her my little sister has lost her biggest and deepest passion. For the happiness for yourself or family member, please do not go there.

I went there for a summer class and the teachers are really nice and some of these kids are amazing like I don't even think I can do some of this stuff they do. Anyways it's a really nice studio and you should really go check it out.

People need to stop. All you dance mom fans that are attacking CADC need to knock it off cause all you see is the reality tv show side of it and not the real picture. Trust me, I love dance moms but what you see on tv is not what actually goes on there. I am not pro ALDC or pro CADC as I am a competitive dancer for just for kix dance studio. Cause I am from Just for kix I have seen a few coaches that were not so good but if CADC were that bad than they would not have placed as high as they did at all so leave them alone (I put 3 stars as a neutral positionin this)

There so many roaches and rodents. She is a clout chaser like how she used Abby. I think the Bbb should check that out. It should be closed or upgraded. Most likely closed for good

This woman is pathetic and juvenile. She's so desperate to beat the ALDC! She only as a few on her dance team and in constantly using outside dancers. Why doesn't her daughter dance with the girls? I don't know why any mother would ever let her teach any of their children.

Her dances and choreography is ok. But I believe that Abbey's dances are more structured and skilled. Her dancers are more emotional and more graceful. The candy apples are a bit boring and uncharacteristic. Im sure if you tried harder you would do better,most are pushed when being dancers and not coddled by a woman who tries to be younger then she is. I believe your studio is a fraud and joke on dancers society.

I know someone who has gone to Candy Apples, and they say that she is very very rude! Almost like Abby! ALDC for life!

Candy Apples Dance Center is an overall horrible studio. I have been dancing for 15 years and never in my life have I witnessed such unprofessional behavior coming from a dance studio owner. Cathy is just as ridiculous and downright crazy as seen on Tv. Vivi Anne must escape and be free

Candy Apple's Dance Center copies other dance companies dances to get ahead, yet by doing such an underhanded thing, it causes her dancers to fail. When presented with a win the owner, Cathy, brags and behaves in such an unprofessional manner, I would 10/10 not recommend this place to ANYONE who wants a successful dance career.

She spends all of her time focusing on beating Abby and NO time trying to train her students... her choreography is terrible (not that she can even choreograph her own routines without hired help) and her attitude towards others is at best alarming

As a Dance Mom s lover, it s kinda pathetic all these trolls are flooding the CADC reviews...It was a show...do those people not realize it? The producers made scenes more dramatic than it actually was. Plus it s BEEN YEARS since Cathy and Abby have competed on tv...On behalf of the sane members of the fandom, sorry!

For Cathy: you suck. Your dancers suck and they will never EVER beat aldc. You are the rudest human being on this earth. If I were any of those moms, Abby, or any of the dancers I would slap you right in the face. I would give you 0 stars, but... The lowest you can give is 1 star.

Abby is mean right back so don't act like Cathy is all bad because she is nice she is not old i have never met her but i know that if you did you wouldn't say all of those mean things. I don't go to the Candy Apples Dance Center but I do know that it is more loving and caring than the ALDC. Not trying to hate on anyone but try and be more considerate of peoples feelings. I am for ALDC and all but Cathy is not a bad person and I would rather go to Candy Apples than ALDC. So stop hiding behind your device and say what you mean in person. #heartlesspeople

she was extremely rude to my kids forced them to sit and watch the other dancers and made them go home early all the time, I am angry and frustrated with Cathy and what she did was unacceptable

Judging by how I saw Kathy on t.v, her choreography is not at all oringal, she always brought in other dance instructors to teach and she followed Abby everywhere she went. I feel she is jealous of the ALDC because all of her students she s taught are nobody s. Get it together Kathy or stop trying it attemping to teach what u call dance

i like candy apple dance studio, but Cathy lets outsiders in to much. If i were Cathy i would leave some dancers at the studio when traveling with a dance teacher and just keep traveling to competitions as always.

I decided to bring my oldest daughter who was 8 at the time and Cathy always said she was out dated. Cathy never wins competitions and when I went in there they had rats. THEY WERE SALSA DANCING ON THE COUNTER. THE RATS ALSO THREW THERE SHOE AT ME WHILE SALSA DANCING

This is anonymous because Cathy wants ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with me, but the CADC is a wonderful dance company. I wish my child could come back

My daughter loves the kids and the teachers. Very nice staff and clean studio. She would be there every day if she could.

I don t understand why people hate con the candy apples. They just want to teach dance and have fun. Cathy loves teaching kids and that s that.

When I was little, I went to Cathy because I heard from some of my friends that she was really nice and taught well, so I asked my mom to take me. I think that they may have been talking about a different Cathy. Cathy does not have very good choreography in her dances, and her studio interior is outdated. I thing there is some sort of bug problem, but it is disgusting. Cathy also bullies her students from time to time. When my mom took me away from her class, because I hated it, Cathy had nothing to say. She did not even say goodbye, even though I had been at her studio for a year and a half. Absolutely terrible. Would not recommend to anyone unless you hate them.

This place isn t actually bad. The reason a lot of people put hate out on this studio is because they are fan fan of dance moms. Now if you have watched the old seasons of dance moms you understand. There s nothing that s actually wrong with this studio! Jeez, people that watch dance moms just hate on it.

Cathy is the most petty woman I've ever seen in my life. She bully's little kids, and it's disgusting!

This place just wasn't for me. Cathy wasn't the best teacher for me. Team loyalty was not there. I think I'll have to go back and try Abby again

Personally when my mom sent my sister here we had to take her to a therapist as well as a doctor (the therapist for trauma caused by Cathy & the doctor due to diseases she caught after using the bathroom) and every time when we went to a competition you could just hear Cathy screeching in her shrill little voice at the children CHILDREN, from backstage, and compared to real life, in the TV show Cathy is kind, if you knew her in real life than you would know how horrendous, vile, sickening, Cathy really is. When I visited the dance studio for the first time, they had a 1.1 grade review for cleanliness, which I think that they should have been shut down long ago for, and the place reeked of chemicals (most likely due to the fact that they had to keep the rats, bugs & snakes out) . Next, when they were practicing late you could hear the pitter patter of the cockroaches and rats at this point I think that the rats, and cockroaches were nicer and much more sanitary than Cathy and her staff. I also think that there was a drug dealer selling drugs in a white van parked in the parking lot and not only to mention that there have been numerous crime reports from that area. Another thing that I have to state is that Cathy's aura, & attitude are horrendous & I couldn't imagine having to dance there, once she hit my sister and Cathy forced her to apply more makeup than she already needed for the overdone looks just so she could perform, and she had the audacity to get mad when she told her that her face was hurting. As for the sanitation in the facility, when I went to the bathroom one of the toilets were clogged with dead rats, as well as floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned since she bought the place and when you walked you could hear the crunch of dead cockroaches beneath your feet . And when I turned on the faucet (she had no soap or anything to wash your hands with) the water came out brown & Cathy's office or reeked of alcohol. She is overall setting a bad example for those children and causing serious trauma, SO PLEASE if you value the mental health of you family & friends please do not send them here.

Cafty is rude and I watched the dance moms they where doing dance battle so McKenzie win the solo and aldc won the group . Nia l was like what did that come from my face was became into an rich it's just a prank

Cathy pushing her grand daughter to dance is sad to watch. Viv doesn't seem the least bit interest in doing anything.. This dance instructor doesn't seem to realize the world isn't built around her. The nationals were embarrasshing

Abby Lee is much better, I also love dance moms. She is a great caty teacher only that Abby is professional and you are just someone new. I mean a copiona I adore the Company dance Abby Lee and I will always do it
