I love how the owner or someone is saying the fake reviews are fake why are the reviews bad candy apples seems like a great place

I love candy apples it s a very inviting and open environment. The owner Cathy is super nice and isn t a rude person every time I met her she was very friendly and for people commenting rude things to give them a bad review cause of dance moms stop because she s not rude the show just makes her seem that way

To be honest, I've heard bad reviews through the area, and children who have been there. I'm not one of these crazed fans just here to bag the studio.

If you want to be a loser, this is the dance company to join

Great dance studio! Great Staff! Please pay attention to all these good reviews on here- the poor ones are fake and not based on this real studio!
My younger daughter is in her 5th year and just loves it! Highly recommend Candy Apple's!

My cousin lives in Canton, Ohio and last year she quit dancing with the Candy Apples Dance Center. Cathy is an absolute nightmare to work with. The woman cannot keep ALDC out of her mouth, as if her only goal in life is to attempt to be a better studio and bring them down. When, shouldn t her goal be to make sure her dancers are having fun and enjoying themselves? She s immature and washed up. DO NOT take your children to dance here.

My daughter has been dancing at candy apples for 5+ years. We absolutely love it! Cathy is no where near what the show depicts her to be. In fact she is kind and inspires her students to keep pushing! Mrs Bunny is fantastic with the littles her routines are the cutest! Mrs. Erin is one of the most caring people i have meet. She truly has helped my little one get out of her comfort zone and Excel beyond our imagination. We

Even though Candy Apple's Dance Center was mean to Abby Lee Dance company, that doesn't mean that they are bad or anything. They probably did it for show.

Very friendly studio! My daughter loves the kids and the teachers. Has met many new friends. She is excited to go to dance every week. Love the recital year after year. With this crazy year - it's nice to feel comfortable to leave my child there because they are very cautious and careful with their guidelines and procedures.

Personally, I'm not a fan of Cathy's Choreo, so that ruins the experience. I don't think the place is dirty though at all. Also everyone that is saying to go to the ALDC, (yes I do love dance moms lol) First, Look at how Abby treated Her dancers! Second, ALDC is in PA and CADC is in OH. Not even the same state.
-_- so yeah overall, there are superior studios in the area, not only ALDC (not even in the same area)

i feel that the Candy apple dance center should audition good dancers because they stink really. But Abby can be mean but that's why there good.abby pushes them to the work and to do it right. Candy apples should audition and pick good dancers

Very unprofessional! Teacher was rude to my child, smelled like a gas leak, had rats in the building, and gave very bad corrections! This was probably the worst dance studio me and my daughter have ever been to!

Rotten apples ..... rotten to the core.... I took my daughters to Abby Lee Dance Studios and now they are in broadway shows!

age with all the bulling, we try to teach all children to respect each other. She should not be a dance teacher let alone be able to hinder her daughters future with so much unprofessionalism. She should not be allowed to teach kids to be mean. She acts like a 12 year old bully. Again, disgusting!!!!

Many of these comments are not even from families who dance at Candy Apples.

We have been part of the dance studio for 4 years. The studio has wonderful teachers who are great coaches. With the recent pandemic they have made wonderful efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the students, staff and families. Our children love dancing here and they look forward to classes each week. They have made great connections with the teachers and families here.

Abby Lee Dance Company is better. Cathy is mean and disrespectful to her students.

I used to dance there.
Too much. Rushed everything, never gave anyone personal time.
But besides the bads, she was kindish, and got me through a year or dancing.
I think people judge a bit too much on her, but she is rude and too much.

This place is obviously for kids who don't have sportsmanship like Cathy Cathy always have to say something to Abby before they even start getting ready.... that always contains bad luck! Well Abby always yell at the students because that makes them a better dancer, it's not to be rude. Cathy just spoils the kids, that is just a lack of not teaching the kids to be on BroadWay!

I like how you say you actually aren't how they portray you on the show, but the words that come from your mouth say differently!

My kid danced here, mentioned Abby to Cathy because she watched the show and got KICKED OUT. Insane! Don t put your kid through it!!!

These reviews are lies, they only care about how Ms. Cathy left ADLC and was their rivalry, Cathy is a really nice woman, and this is a great place to dance, get over yourselves.

As a fellow competitive dancer, I think you should not post a review unless you have danced there personally. The show makes them look bad because of editing, because they actually film forty HOURS of footage but narrow it down to forty MINUTES. If I had the opportunity to dance at CADC, I would totally take the offer. ALDC I STILL LOVE YOU

Cathy doesn't realize that the Abby Lee Dance Company is better than she could ever hope to be and she continuously uses outside dancers and other choreographers to try to gain the upper hand, and she claims to not lose sleep over beating Abby and she doesn't care if Abby's at a competition and that she wants to win even if Abby isn't at the competition but every decision she makes is attempting to throw Abby off guard. She wants to audition a new dancer, this girl will surprise Abby! and she needs to use an outside choreographer, I'll use Abby's friend so she'll get upset about it and be distracted! and she needs a new team, boys score higher in competition so I'll get a whole new team of all boys so I can surprise Abby and beat them! She is the definition of complete and total obsession.

I think my daughter from the future would dance from that studio in Ohio because I want her to dance like me when I was young and I want her to have more when she grows up

Ok I have not Ben there but I m a fan of the candy apples I can t go to Abby lee because it s to far and candy apples only is 5 hours candy apples if your reading this I m ballerina I m not good at a lot sorry oh and your the best dance company and I can t go to all the classes because I have 4th grade XC

We are a part of the preschool program- and we just love it! Great teachers that make my child want to come back every week!

guys! I visited here when it was in Ohio, all the bad reviews are from dance moms fans who have never been here. The dance moms reality show makes Cathy the villain. The candy apples dance studio is really good, and no it doesn t have rats!

My daughter went to the studio and hated it. The instructors are incompetent and rude. The owner apparently has a daughter and keeps bringing her up 24/7. The studio space is old and disgusting. We left after two weeks.

I just want to say I love Kathy I ve been dancing with her since I was 2 and she is nothing like she I on the show. Except for the time she made me clean her bathroom and the floor, but I deserved course I messed up the dance .love her thank you for everything including the time you gave me lice

Look, yeah, I'm leaving this review because of Dance Moms. Here's the thing - that show might be fake as wax fruit, but Cathy still presented herself and her business on television *as a business owner* and therefore my opinion, based on the image she chose to present, is valid. And the reason for my one-star review has nothing to do with her dancing or coaching or even the choreography. It's the fat-shaming she constantly resorts to - in an industry with a high prevalence of EDs among dancers, I find this utterly irresponsible (and I'm am ex-dancer). I don't care that it's a TV show. I care that she constantly chose to represent herself and her business as supportive of such cruel and damaging behavior. I'd never send my child to learn from anyone who behaved that way on television, because it's clear that behavior is tolerated in the studio if it's so gleefully indulged in by the owner. Do better.

Worst dance place ever. Not professional. Teachers are mean. Don't come here. They are the rotten apples not the candy apples.

THERE WERE BUGS AND RATS. UNACCEPTABLE. MY DAUGHTER LEARNED NOTHING THE SHORT TIME SHE WAS THERE BEFORE I QUIT. NEVER EVER GO THERE. THEY ARE THE WORST.
