I have been here several times in the last 15 - 20 years. It is always a very pleasant experience. The meals are great and well presented. Staff is always equal or better than many high end Beverly Hills restaurants. The musicals/entertainment are always top notched. Special kudos to the guitarist performing during the dinner time (very talented and excellent selection of music)
This was one of the best I have ever seen. It was an example of turning back time. All three of the guys were right on target, hope Candlelight brings this show back. Just wonderful!!!!! On a scale of one to five this shoe was a ten.
I saw Titanic last night, and the performance was great, their lyrics were well written, the live orchestra lent much to the performances. The lighting and sound were well done, and I would see other shows by this company. The food, however, left much to be desired. Presentation was reminiscent of a school cafeteria. They had several options for the entree; the usual chicken/fish and a tri-tip.The tri-tip was lukewarm and covered in a gravy (a coverup for mediocre meat) the carrots were overcooked, the squash was undercooked, making it the best thing on the plate, and the rice was mealy and bland. That stopped me from ordering dessert, however some of our party ordered desserts and they were both large and aesthetically pleasing, though I cannot attest to their taste. The service was good from the waitstaff. For a venue that has been in business for several decades I expected better, but maybe most people don t care about the meal. I think an option for just dessert and coffee with your ticket would be a nice addition.
This is an excellent establishment. Have had excellent experiences. Recently enjoyed The Little Mermaid. Family feel, good staff, pretty good food, and outstanding quality venues. I'll be a life long customer as long as I live near.
I was visiting Claremont from Florida & was told I had to go to the Candlelight. Our server, Travis, was wonderful, and the dinner was AMAZING- especially the peanut butter ice cream! The show was so fun- we sang "9 to 5" for the rest of the trip! I would highly recommend the Candlelight to anyone who is in the area and is looking for a great night out!
We always love yo come here. Never a bad seat. Drinks dinner and desserts are amazing! Always have a few specials themed per show.
Saw the Ragtime Musical last night - Loved It!! So much talent on one small stage! Allen Everman, playing "Tateh", showed a level of emotion and passion far beyond his years only to be matched by a crystal clear voice that I could have listened to for hours. He was my personal favorite! So many accolades due that space does not permit. Unfortunately, we saw the age old racial ineqalities still present in today's world as they were brilliantly portrayed by the cast. Thank you, once again, Candlelight Pavilion for a wonderful evening!
Amazing experience. The theater was so nice and the play was lovely. Very kind staff. Half the group I was with suffered from food poisoning symptoms afterwards though. Hopefully just a freak accident :(
A week ago, we went to see Beauty and the Beast at the Candlelight Pavilion with our lovely family. It is a wonderful musical romantic fantasy. A classic story of love and friendship. The acting is excellent, and each character is strong. Aww the voices and singing are so beautiful. The songs are still stuck in my head! They are pleasant and relaxing. We were extremely satisfied and waiting for more. We went to the evening show. Dinner seating is at 6pm and show starts at 8pm and last until about 10:30 pm. The food and service is always excellent. A must-see show! We had a Great time!

This local theater definitely has heart and some talent. Productions are well done and uplifting. The food is disappointing, very akin to what you'd get at a wedding reception. Typical house salad and reheated main dishes. My daughter's pizza came with a side dish, which we found UNDER the pizza. Dessert is overpriced and the suggested tip amount is astronomical considering the level of service. The guys that refilled water touched the rims of the drinking glasses with their hands.
Bright Star - an amazing show! A wonderful cast led by the brilliant Christanna Rowader telling a gripping tale of loss and redemption. Tragic and heartwarming with a set that is an additional character in the piece, these players move you through a lifetime of emotions crafted by Steve Martin with music by Mr. Martin and Edie Brickell. To name the stand-outs in the cast would be to simply restate the cast list. Each and every member draws on their considerable talents to transport us to North Carolina early and mid 20th century. A truly beautiful show.

This place is the epitome of class. Every time I attend a musical or play here I have an incredibly wonderful time. The food is delicious, the customer service is splendid and the plays are always spectacular.
I brought two first-time guests. We all really liked the dinner, but the show stole the show. Not a bad or mediocre actor or singer in it. What a group of singers! As wonderful as it all was, I was most impressed by John LaLonne's acting. I'm a long-time Candlelight patron, and I was blown away by his acting and singing. I haven't seen anything but great shows here, but this one was probably the best yet. My guests will be back, and so will I. Keep up the great work!
Had a great time with some good food. Great singers and dancers performed a fun Irving Berlin musical. All around enjoyable.

Had a great experience. The staff was wonderful very accommodating regarding seating and order taking along with food service. The performers in the show seemed very into their jobs and it shows overall very happy experience for everyone. The Patsy Cline show was "crazy"

Took my daughter to see Little Mermaid to celebrate our birthday month. It was a childhood favorite. Excellent choreography, we laughed and sang along.

My wife and I enjoyed a very tasty and well-served early afternoon Sunday dinner, followed by a performance of "Man of La Mancha" by a talented and terrific cast. I'll be looking for what's happening there in the future

Last night 17 family members saw Singing in the Rain. It was a wonderful play! We all had a Great time. The food was excellent. Servers were Great. And the desert were amazing! What a great place to go to leave the world behind!

We traditionally attend the Christmas Show every year and I m amazed at the show that they present! It s an original production each year that consistently entertains the audience with wonderful singing and dancing. The Choregrapher/director does an fantastic job!
