We just came back from seeing Guys and Dolls. Excellent show- We enjoy the quiet atmosphere for pleasant dining, listening to Michael Ryan play.
The food is always good EXCEPT for the broccoli. Almost impossible to eat. Such a large piece and no way to cut it without shaking the whole table even tried using a steak knife to no avail. Much smaller pieces would make the veg. so much better.

Fun

Seen 3 performances and had a pleasant experience all 3 times. This place offers a variety of shows throughout the year to choose from. Great service, food, and it's beautiful! Recommend if you've never gone to a dinner theater, you should go at least once.

Went there last year and saw Mark who impersonates Roy Orbison. I give it a 10. He was wonderful. Going again tonight. The service was excellent as well. The sound is so much better at the Pavilion.

We had a great summer with the concert series. The music was great the waiters were great the DESERT was fantastic. The only issue I had was this gentlemen and his lady that felt like dancing in the middle of the floor and got in the way of viewing the band when the best most best songs were played. Usually the dance floor if there is one is off to the side.

We go to the Candlelight about three times a year because we enjoy it so much. It is worth the hour to hour and a half drive for each of us. It is so much fun and so elegant. The food and wine are excellent, something you don't always get at a dinner theater! If you have never gone to one, you MUST go at least once. There aren't many dinner theaters out there anymore with IMAX and multiplex movie cinemas to compete with. The reason this one is still alive is because it is so good. It is worth every penny. Go there for something special and different to do for a birthday, anniversary, or first date. Take your parents there for Mother's or Father's day. You'll be the favorite son/daughter for a long time!

Went here to see a family play. They're usually family oriented events so everyone is welcoming. It definitely feels like a senior moment since most of the staff is senior, however they have always been great. The theater also feels a little dated but family friendly.

Wonderful venue! Gorgeous setting! They did only have one vegetarian entree option, but it was delicious. It was our first time here and our server Ari was very helpful. Will visit again.

Another spectacular show. Bright Star captivates and fulfills what we love about musicals. 5 stars indeed. Also, a great dinner too. I had the shrimp and scallop strudel with peach sundae for dessert and a cappuccino . Service is also top notch . Thank you Bollinger family!

Our first outing here. Matinee program of Irish music by local artist Michael Ryan and his ensemble group. Very good show. This was not a dinner show but they served good coffee and an excellent selection of desserts this afternoon.

Just saw Don Quixote. The show was preview night so no entree, just desert and beverages. (Frankly, I would have preferred the appetizers and beverages, but that's just me). How about desert as an option? Anyway, enough about the food. What's more important is the absolutely fabulous production I saw tonight. I have seen many outstanding productions presented here over the years. However, in my opinion, this one "hit it out of the park". I very much enjoyed the interpretation. I loved the singing and acting of the entire ensemble. The main characters were wonderfully convincingly. They pulled at my heartstrings all night. It was just a marvelous depiction of Don Quixote. Please give us more like this. Thank you for an exceptional evening.

"Ragtime" performance was superb! Seating available until 2 days before the last performance. Joined by friendly people at our table. Good food served by attentive staff. Don't forget that the tip is not included in the price! Several special desserts.

Food was not good, I was sick with runs starting around 3am after the show, seemed like mostly frozen prepared foods. Show was good, but between the show and dinning we spent $250, I would have put the value at about $80, we will not be back.

Just saw Little Mermaid and it might be the best show I have ever seen there. Ursula just pulled out all the stops and even today, I find myself thinking about what an amazing performance he gave. He just became that character in every facet. All of the performers were fabulous and well suited for their parts. Aside from the actors/actresses performances, the sets, costumes, an choreography were just spectacular. This is a play I could recommend without reservation. We are so lucky to have this available to those of us who live in and around the Claremont area.

Purely on the play, itself, I rated this experience as a 5. That being said, the dinner was disappointing. The flavors were bland and in some cases, just "off". The chicken strips for the children had a fishy flavor, plus the bread coating seemed uncooked and mushy. The carrots were slightly undercooked, and the remaining vegetables were just tasteless and poorly cooked. The tri-tip though very thinly sliced, was still difficult to cut and completely tasteless. My daughter ordered the salmon and that, too, was tasteless. All of it felt like fast food warmed up. Even the rolls, which I normally just love, were hard and didn't have the usual wonderful tangy taste that I look forward to having when I go to one of the Pavilion performances. The customer service associated with the meal was, as usual, flawless.

Loved, loved, loved the play, but hope that the meals will be restored to their former standards, soon.

This was our first visit to this place and our first visit to any dinner theater for that matter. I was very impressed with the overall look and family friendly atmosphere, it was an older crowd considering the venue, but overall we had a really great time and are looking forward to revisting this restaurant on another occasion. One thing that really stuck out for me and my family was that this is truely a lost art and enjoyed the cultural aspect of what we experienced. Thank you again for your hospitable staff and continued success of this hidden gem.

This last show we went to was The Long Run, and it was excellent. The quality of the performances, the staging and sound, and the professionalism of one of the best Eagles tribute bands is a must see. We are always amazed at the talent Candlelight brings in for their concert series. The theatrical shows are dependably good and much better than a dinner theater needs to be. The food is good, not fantastic... But for the price? With a good show? The place delivers.

This was our first time here and it was awesome. The food was very good and they made sure to accommodate my wife's gluten intolerance. The stage production was fantastic. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who really enjoys theater. We will be back for sure.

My family & I just saw the Newsies production. The cast was amazing. The sets were awsome. There wasn't a bad seat in the house. Not only was it a fabulous preformance, but our meal was amazing too. Thank you for a wonderful night.

the best dinner and theater at the best dinner theater in Southern California. Broadway-style and caliber performances. The picture shows a recent performance of Bonnie and Clyde, in which I was fortunate enough to play the preacher.

Class act from begging to end. Service rivals any great restaurant. Food was delish and the appetizers were huge!!! This place has to be on everyone's list of must do venues for a great night out!!!

As usual a great show. We took advantage of a five dollar off coupon and sat at a table on the floor. Much noisier than our favorite booth, the manager's booth. We also ended up doing a shared table. I ordered the salmon and had to return it because it was terribly dry. Our nice waiter, Adam, gladly exchanged it for the tri tip which was excellent! My only complaint was the busboys were just a little too eager to clear off the table. First my salad and then dessert were almost whisked away in between bites. Check out the Candlelight Pavilion for a great dinner and show!
