So far this is the best zoo I've visited in Australia but on the day I was there, despite the efforts of the staff, the public had zero respect for social distancing. It seems that people think they don't need to practice it anymore.

Great place to take the little ones and spend 3 hours walking around seeing the animals only to be told that they would rather spend their time playing on the car ride at the entrance. 10/10 for the animals, 0/10 for having to keep going back to that bloody car ride.

It is a well-designed and pleasant Zoo. But it is pretty small in scale. Nothing really wrong with It, and the dining option are great. Just somewhat smaller then most expect. Has a great lodge accommodation option and provides a number of live animal encounters. .

A magical place to get lost amongst the many wonder animals, presented in as natural a way as possible. We travelled from Melbourne to visit and will definitely come again. The staff a very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. A stay in one of the Jamala accommodations is highly recommended as there is nothing quite like have the zoo almost entirely to yourself after the crowds have left.

Really beautiful time here! Felt like the only two people there as it was very hot and nobody else was around. Got to experience so many different animals that aren't seen around in other Australian zoos, all up close and personal. Would definitely visit again!

Great experience with our excellent tour guide Isabelle. She was absolutely amazing with everyone and everything we did. She even went that little bit further to accommodate all on the tour. Just amazing!

A very kid friendly zoo, clean facilities and a very good spread of animals (and a logical layout, directions etc.)

Would happily visit again, runs circles around the Dubbo/Great Plains Zoo.

You get to feed some of the animals inside, like lion, sun bear etc. Some of the animals are not in the cage, so you would get to meet peacock, and some visiting birds on the way. The tree kangaroo here is pretty friendly, you can pet them.

Staff were lovely, animals cute and so much space for them to run around. Great for kids and families, has the best playground for the kids. I was surprised how affordable everything was once inside the zoo, which is rare. Will definitely go again.

This is possibly the best zoo that we have ever visited. The property was really well set out, and the animal enclosures, which were so well designed for the animals, allowed fantastic viewing. The facilities are fantastic and the kids playground was a huge hit. I can't recommend this zoo highly enough, you really have to visit, you won't be disappointed.

I was there to meet a Cheetah and I was expecting to be able to cuddle up to it like in the posters throughout the Zoo but couldn't, I felt mislead by the Advertising! All I did was stand behind & look at it eat!

Wow, what a brilliant time. Stayed in the Wild Life Encounter Sweet, very clean, roomy and had the meerkats right outside our door. F fantastic facilities, great and plentiful food. Staff were excellent with service and knowledge. Guides were fantastic.. will definitely come back. Well worth the money with some of it going directly to conservation.

the size of zoo was very manageable with my 2 little kids. The cafe near entry was also reasonably priced. Only wished the staff would have informed us to book the feeding and encounter with animals at the entry, so we would not miss the opportunity for kids to have a better unforgettable experience.

Took the grandkids there and to be perfectly honest I think the place has gone down hill since the last visit 2 years ago. Although there are some newer areas open, many of the exhibits look a bit scrappy. The grounds could do with some attention as there are some rather high trip hazards on some of the older concrete paths and some of the timber hand rails are rotting away. They also need to sort out the service in the Rhino Bistro. One person serving and 3 others standing around while people waiting to buy food and drinks is not a good look. Let's hope that the next visit in another 2 years will result in a more positive review.

A membership tickets worth it for everyone. Visit them in the early morning would be recommended. Great place to come visit on the weekends. There are heaps of space to picnic and relax with your family. The Rhino Cafe also has a discount for the zoo membership. New playground has plenty space for all children.
I would suggest that they need more toilet around the zoo.

A great family day out. The zoo is very well maintained and clean. Easy to navigate but a long walk especially with young kids. Plenty of places to stop along the way for a sit down- most have picnic tables and are shaded. A range of different animals to see with keeper talks throughout the day. There is an excellent play space next to the rhino cafe with swings, slides, bridges and tunnels for the kids to run wild. Tickets were affordable- worth noting
children under 3 enter for just $1. Adequate parking with a main car park and overflow.

I was very impressed by this place. Great layout, very well kept exhibits and good variety of animals from all around the world. Our kids loved the brand new playground area (Mar '19). Two large cafes on site with all the usual fare. They also have intriguing looking hotel rooms that you can stay in, each one looking over a different animal exhibit... Sip champagne on your balcony and have a visit from a giraffe... Awesome!

Would happily visit again.
