I am a faithful Covenant Partner with Pastor Malone and my Canaan Christian Church family. The Gospel is Taught, Worship is in Spirit and Truth, Nations are Covered in Prayer.

I've been a member here for 31 years and I have grown so much under Pastor Malones leadership. The word is definitely going forth and I love how he sticks to teaching what the Bible says because that is what's going to help us live the life God purposed us to live.

I get found this to be the most loving church ,where the people are real.....And the man of God is a man after God's Heart,who loves his people, calls and ,prays for us regularly......Who teaches us the Word of God and desires to make us Disciples of Jesus Christ,who is the Angel of Canaan Christian Church,Dr Walter Malone Jr.......God sent me almost 24 years ago there and since then I have received my Minister license , worked in various ministries,and most of all I loved Teaching..... I have never regretted being a member of this True Church of God,Canaan Christian Church, I will be here until God takes me to my Heavenly Home,Minister C.V.Marshall,

The congregation is friendly. The Word of God is being taught and preached. Ministry takes place for and with every age group from infants to seniors.

Judgemental and not welcoming to anyone that has a past that's not perfect the security guard not only told me he was the police and put his hands on me but he also told me I didn't know who Jesus was because I'm a recovering addict and hid someone I have an epo on from the police inside so that they couldn't serve it

I've been a member since I moved here in 2008 and I'm still there.Come See

I attended for a relative's funeral. Great service, everyone greeted us with smiles. Very welcoming church!

Sermon was amazing. Choir was great. My only issue was seating. I like to find my own little spot in the corner but the ushers seat you so you don't have a choice of seating.
Will definitely go back though.

Everyone has invited me to come visit. Love talking to people that go to this Church they all seem so happy and pleasant!

Canaan Christian Church is a "Simple Church with a Kingdom Focus."

Pastor Walter Malone, Jr leads this congregation of Bible Believers into an Authentic Life Relationship with Jesus Christ through Small Group Bible Study on Sunday mornings at 9am, Corporate Worship on Sundays at 10am and teaches Bible Study on Wednesdays at 12 noon and 7pm. Canaan also offers Men & Women's Bible Study groups on the the 1st Saturday of each month 9am - 11am.

Canaan has several Outreach Ministries and a Transportation Ministry which provides rides to and from service. As a member, I fell in love with the Kids Zone and Youth Department Ministries which offer classes from Infants - 12th grade. I have 3 children who have blossomed in their spiritual journey as members of this great Youth Department.

The Dare to Dream Academy offers life skills training and educational tutoring on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month for school aged children (K - 12th grade) from 9am - 12pm.

Canaan also offers a phenomenal Music Department Ministry which includes: Live Band, Liturgical Dance Team, Combined Praise Team, Levitical Choir, Men's Day Choir, Women's Day Choir, Angelic Choir (Ages 4 -12yrs), Judah Choir (Ages 13 - 18yrs), Redeemed Praise Team (Young Adults) and a Combined Choir.

There are several ministry groups under which you can find the opportunity to serve in the body of Christ.

A Blessing, you always feel welcome and the word of God just touch your heart and soul. When Pastor Malon preach, he Is also teaching. Nothing but respect for him and the church.

Great place to worship, and the pastor will give u the word of God straight out of the bible and give it to u straight!!! No watered down word at this church!!!
