Campus Advantage has been a client of mine for almost 6 months now and have thoroughly enjoyed working with them. The professionalism, responsiveness & attention to detail is exhibited from the site level up to the executives at the company. It s very easy to see why they have remained a top Student Housing management company year over year!

Campus Advantage is a great company to work for, I couldn't be happier with my 5+ years as a member of the CA team. I have found the leadership to be professional, encouraging, and responsive. I also find that this is not a company that cares solely about bottom line, there is a true focus put on the students and residents we serve in everything we do.

My child is a tenant living in one of the properti...

My child is a tenant living in one of the properties owned by this the Campus Advantage company. The place where my child lives is mismanaged and they give the poorest service. I believe they do not care for the tenants or the property and they are very money hungry. The property looks like trash and the carpeting throughout the hallways that surround the outside doors is disgusting. The manager, bookkeeper, and the area manager are horrible to deal with. I left two emails and one phone message for the area manager, and I never received a call back about an issue I was having. I also called Campus Advantage directly in TX to report an issue and followed up with an email a week later, but received no response from any employee. Very. Poor. Service. I highly recommend that you rent from another company and stay away from apartments which this company manages. You will find many other properties for the same money which are much nicer and provide better service; There are currently over 40 apartment vacancies in the complex which my child resides in. This is because the apartment complex itself and this management company have a BAD reputation. You don't have to take my word for it, just read the other reviews about Campus Advantage. The only positive reviews for this company are from businesses who work with or for the company, not from residents themselves.

I live at the wyatt and have been having issues with the new neighbors. The problems didn't start until after these neighbors moved in. It's been over 2 weeks that I've barely slept due to the neighbors being very loud in the middle of the night like midnight 1am2am3am with their music and their cars and yelleng outside my apartment. I have called the police multiple times because I can't sleep. I have also been threatened by my neighbors. I was here before those neighbors. Tracy told me that there's always going to be noise and that if this keeps happening she will evict us all which she can't do. I have talked to the police and they said the loud music and noise should not be happening throughout the night even if it is student housing. I had a decoration on my door that I can no longer have up because of the neighbors. I never had this much problems until those neighbors moved in and I'm the one being blamed. This is terrible management. This needs to be addressed immediately because my mental and physical health is at risk and my life is at risk because those nieghbors can become violent because they have came close to hitting me before when I tried to confront them about their loud music in the middle of the night.

To anyone looking to rent with an apartment complex that is under Campus Advantage should RUN AWAY and save yourself the headache and cost of doing business with such a disorganized and unprofessional company.

After being charged a $60 cleaning fee for a "dirty" bathtub, I asked the Forum at Tallahassee for the contact information for Campus Advantage, and was told that they do not have any contact information for this company. After hours of online research and calling several numbers, I was finally able to get in contact with a receptionist, who said she would reach out to the regional manager, who would then contact me within 2 business days. It has been over a week and I have not had any contact with this company. Even after I have attempted to reach out to that number numerous times.

If you are a parent or guardian looking to rent in the Tallahassee area, go with another management team.

Attached is the $60 worth of cleaning fee, that this company is sending me to collections for.

Update: It has been over a week since the company responded to this review but somehow, their regional manager still has not respond to the email I was told to send.

Daughter moved in at villa 26, it was dirty and no tv. 23 days later still haven't clean the apartment and still no tv. Keep on telling me they are coming and still haven't show up. The worst service ever. I still have to pay rent

I wish I would have read reviews on Campus Advanta...

I wish I would have read reviews on Campus Advantage and Gateway on Cullen before my son signed a lease. This is by far the worst experience I've had dealing with a company. The people in the front office are not helpful, one girl told me the mold was imaginary. The manager is never available and doesn't respond to emails. If having mold in the vents weren't bad enough, the apartment wasn't cleaned prior to move in. The place was disgusting and was infested with roaches. They said that someone came out and fumigated 2-3 times, which was the furthest from the truth. My son and his roomies couldn't buy groceries because roaches were getting into their refrigerator. I can't tell you how long it took us to clean that apartment and how much was spent on products to get rid of the roaches. Also, all the money spent for them to eat out since they couldn't purchase groceries. My son and his roomies tried to stick it out but after multiple service requests and speaking with the office people nothing was done. They finally moved out and now I'm stuck trying to get money back that I prepaid for his rent. Shame on me for pre-paying the rent and expecting them to deliver a habitable unit. I can guarantee you that not one person from Campus Advantage Leadership team would allow their children to spend one night at this place in these conditions, but yet they charge other parents $800/month and expect us to understand and keep giving them time to rectify the issues. Well we did and they did nothing.

Parents, DO NOT RENT FROM GATEWAY ON CULLEN OR ANY COMPLEX MANAGED BY CAMPUS ADVANTAGE. The reviews are the truth and they show that it is definitely not just one campus with issues.

I am a resident living in one of the college commu...

I am a resident living in one of the college communities owned by Campus Advantage. Our appliances were recently replaced which is awesome! The appliances were dated and due for a refresh. However, the furniture was not. The furniture was nice, comfy and matched the interior of the apartment. We had sturdy, glass tables in the living room and sturdy office desks in the individual units. Instead, we now have VERY cheap wooden furniture, with extremely uncomfortable dining room chairs, bar chairs for a bar we don't have, and our new desk is literally a plank of wood with a thin metal frame and legs. It shakes while I type or do virtually anything. The appliance change was given a warning in advance which allowed us to prep the unit beforehand, but the desk change and dresser change all happened within the past 48 hours with NO prior communication. Disgusting corporate company that has no regards for the individuals renting an apartment from one of their many complexes.

This company focuses heavily on its people and culture, which is apparent through the tenacity and demeanor portrayed by team members from all stages of their respective careers.
