I am only using 1 Star in order to provide a review. In May of 2018 we purchased our 4th camper from Camping World; two from the Spartanburg SC location, two including the most recent purchase, from the Fletcher location. The entire process has been a terrible experience. The purchase paperwork and finance agreement were incorrect, finally resulting in the dealership refunding $3000+ to our loan, we-owe repairs have still not been completed and the camper has been in their shop for various repairs for a total of 5 1/2 months of the now 9 months we ve owned the 2018 Starcraft. Our most recent repair (still on going) began December 13, 2018. Screws that secure the subflooring to the frame are backing out, causing the vinyl flooring to buckle and separate and most likely compromising the integrity of the campers structural soundness. The repair has not been completed as of this review 2/11/19. Finally, it is virtually impossible to speak to anyone in the service department by phone. If I can speak to a person they need to call me back and the return call is days later. I can not and will never recommend Camping World. As repeat customers we have been extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and integrity by this organization. Buyer Beware!!!

Pitiful when your towing service abd your own insurance company tells you to get your camper out of there.
You lied to my face, talked about me to another customer before you saw me. Lied about damage to camper and lied about my towing service ( A -1 towing are great honest people in Hendersonville NC).
Shame on you.
I took my camper down the street and had my camper in and out of there in less than an hour. Reese Trailer and Service, another great family owned and operated business.
Shame on you.
Profit over compassion and honesty.
You reap what you sow.

Took my Fifth Wheel there for service. This is my first review of any business on google and ultimately I was compelled to do so because of my interaction with the service manager (Steve). When the temperature was going to dive down to the 20's the night before I was able to get there to pick up my unit, Steve stepped up and thoughtfully arranged to hook up my unit to his shore power, release some of the water pressure on my pipes, and run my heaters to prevent pipes from freezing. He could have sold me a winterization process just to ensure I would be fine for the one night. Instead he showed reasonableness and care for the customer as being more important than just one more sale of a service product. This is the type of business model, decision making and customer care that ultimately generates long term success for any business and we all search for.

Also, their top team of technicians quickly and accurately diagnosed my repair issues, when two other RV service centers had failed to do so. Service advisor was professional and guided the process effectively.

I highly recommend giving them your business.

Such a frustrating situation dealing with this company. Bought camper. Didnt receive any paperwork to make payments. Now no call backs from anyone in the department. Asked for manager....got told he was too busy to take my calls.

A total nightmare. Took a month to even get the camper off the lot following purchase. Everything kept tearing up but they DID repair it. No one wanted to accept responsibility. Met with manager which was almost insulting. This was Asheville/Hendersonville.

Service department is the worst. They over filled the oil in our generator and oil in motor. Filled dirty transmissions fluid. Spark plugs were not put on properly. Tires were very very very low. Among many other issues. We ended up going through a dispute over what they charged us for service. We Won the dispute. It took them over 3 months to get the license plate from Melinda. She would not answer my calls regarding the RV and tag because my partner and I are not married. She never let me know why either I had to keep calling and then find out from the only kind employee there that it is because we are not married, my name was not on paperwork. Yet, Adam (finance) and Wendy (sales) would speak with me on the tag, finance, sales with RV. Now having issues with the generator. One window was cleverly duck taped so it was not seen and now duck tape has fallen off and window will not shut properly. The sales department and finance and tag department do NOT communicate well nor work well together. Very rude service from retail. One kind employee the lady that answers the phone. Otherwise, All employees were Not helpful and very disorganized. Finance department (Adam) laughed that we read the fine print and then weeks later finding out he had left errors on our paperwork, which caused delay on getting title, loan ,and tag. Took weeks to get in touch with anyone. Wendy was Not knowledgeable about anything to do with the RV. We regret purchasing from camping world. Will never recommend here to anyone. ALL WARNED DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR RV FROM CAMPING WORLD. We are so happy we did NOT purchase the SCAM insurance with camping world. RV buyers Beware!

We bought our first camper here and Michelle, our salesperson, was wonderful. Throughout the entire process Michelle answered all of our questions and made the process as easy as possible. She was available via phone or text and was fast to reply or return a call. We I ll definitely work with Michelle again as well as everyone we dealt with at this Camping World location.

Courteous sales staff & management. However if I had known some things about the features of the RV I would not have purchased it. Primarily you cannot listen to the stereo unless the vehicle ignition is on (will not operate off of coach batteries), additionally there are not enough wall light switches, in the master bedroom you have to climb on the bed to turn on the light.

I used to be a salesperson at this store, if you look back you will see a great number of Google reviews with customers who had a positive experience with me. Asheville has had to hire all new technicians for service, because several of their experienced technicians, the delivery coordinator, and a couple of salespeople cannot work with the sales manager. He is an abrasive individual, and not a man of his word. Until this situation can be rectified, I would strongly advise you to go to Camping World of Spartanburg, they have an experienced service staff, wonderful management and sales team... You will just have to overlook their small parking lot.

At this frustrated point in my dealings with camping world Asheville, I could never recommend anyone purchase from there. I bought a travel trailer and that part was ok but it had issues that I made them aware of since day one. It was on their property for 3 or so days and it took several days to get someone to lookt at I. They replaced a part but it was the wrong one so it did not fix the problem. I spoke to the finance person Matthew Frank who said to call him and he would get it fixed. I have called him at least.2 times a week for the last 3 weeks without a call back from anyone. I left messages asking for whom to speak to several times with out any acknowledgement. I spoke to the salesman many time and them saying we will be there and no one showing up. I am going on 5 weeks and someone was scheduled for 4 pm yesterday. I took off work early loosing money to be there to have it fixed. The repair person Jimmy Clark never called or showed up. I sent several emails to him and he states he is very busy and I need to work with him. I am going on 5 weeks with this issue and don't know when it will end. Kick in the gut is I purchased an extended warranty for 5000 and now no one will come out to repair a problem that existed with it sitting in their property for days. What a bad experience

At this point I am asking to get my money back for the extended warranty and that I can call someone who will actually return a call and come out and repair the issue

My husband Rick and myself purchased a 40ft used 2007 MONACO RV from Camping World Asheville NC and are thrilled with it. All the staff were friendly and professional. I have to add how amazing Adam Froemming,the finance manager, was in this whole process. He personally walked us step by step through the inspection process, funtionalizing every piece of equipment on the motor home. Also, our salesman, Wesley McCurry, spent a great deal of time showing us different homes and with no pressure. We appreciate the staff at Camping World and recommend you visit them when purchasing a

We took our camper there is March for some trim replacement. They held our camper hostage for 3 months. Repairs were done poorly and this is still not resolved. My husband asked that they keep us updated during the time our camper was there but they did not follow through. We will never go there again for anything. Sad way to do business.

Bought a camper from camping world of Asheville and had GREAT customer service! From the beginning with Matt and Wendy helping us with the camper and the deal. Alston was our service tech, who went above and beyond to make sure the camper was right for us before leaving the lot. The Finance manager Matthew Frank was also very helpful with the deal and making sure it was the best deal for us. Would definitely recommend Camping
World of Asheville for your camping needs!!

Unfortunately, camping world did not look camper over as well as they said. We took the camper back to CW 5 weeks ago for some issues we where having! First dry camping experience our 2nd black tank was leaking!!!! Water was coming in to back windows, awning lights went out etc. CW had the camper for five weeks supposedly fixing all the problems. We travel the 2 1/2 hours to Asheville to pick up the camper and do one night of camping close to check it out. Upon arrival to CW we where told that our warranty didn t cover the awning lights! But that everything else was fixed! They did end up ordering new awning lights and giving us a set to camp with until those arrived. Fast forward to the next morning we are packing up and flushing tanks when I notice I leak coming from underneath the camper on the complete opposite side where we noticed before. So we are on our way back up the mountain to either have someone with integrity fix the leak or CW will be buying this camper that they sold to us and supposedly checked out before the sale!

Hi, I m Jim a very happy customer at Camping World in Ashevill. I m still thrilled with the camper we bought just over a year with the help of Wendy Martin who has been the most helpful and capable sales gal I ve ever had.My wife and I made various searches for a Camper that would fit our needs well and Wendy worked with us for hours on this.
I must say, it s because Wendy was such an on the ball lady , we not only purchased our new Springdale RV Camper, but returned and bought another one last month! We have several acres here and with our home being so tiny, we needed to have a couple of campers for the many friends and family that come to our lovely mountain Lake Glenville area here! Well, Wendy did it again as we knew she would! She is such a dedicated hard worker that any customer would be happy with. So many sales reps want our business, but our time and choice for the best sales rep is not gonna change. I sure hope Wendy stays with camping world cuz for sure, I ll Be Back :) Thanks tons for your hard work !

Stopped by to view Class C motor homes. The facility is large and is fully serviced for all of your RV needs. On the way out, my truck failed to go into gear; no transmission at all. I went inside to speak with the manager. I approach a young man by the name of Jeremiah (the manager). I explained my situation and he came out to assist. Prior mechanical background led Jeremiah to the cause. He fixed the problem right on the spot and I was on my way. I truly appreciated his selflessness and kindness. I'm sure the rest of his staff follow his example. What a Blessing. Thank you Jeremiah and the forklift operator for all of your help.

Called this location around 5:30pm to verify that they close at 7pm because me and my husband wanted to look at just 1 camper they had and the woman that answered the phone was very rude. When I asked about their closing time she gave me an annoying sigh and then told me that all the golf carts were put away and that the service area people were getting ready to leave at 6pm. So my question is who is staying until 7pm? Will not buy my camper from this location!!!!!!!!

After posting this review I got a call from Camping World of Asheville asking to give them a second chance and I did. We made an appointment with a gentleman by the name of Richard and we spent a few hours there looking at the campers that would fit us for what we need. After we found the one we wanted he gave us an offer on it and before we made such a big purchase we decided to go home and think about it. That same night we did some research and saw that the exact same camper at another location was around $6,000 less that what Camping World was offering us. I sent them all the information and told them that if they could meet the price of the one we found then we would buy the camper from them. It didn't happen. We have since purchased a camper from another location and I have reached out to Richard to let him know and as of today he is still calling us and texting us. He says he isn't a pushy dealer but when they say that they are. I worked in the floor plan industry for 13 years and worked with all kinds of car dealers so I know when one is being pushy. Do not go here unless you want to throw your money away. They are too expensive.

After posting a less than favorable review of the Camping World - Asheville store last week, I received an email from Samantha Kazsmer and I explained the issues we were having. She immediately got to work and in 4 days, we had the part we needed. We are so grateful for her and the stellar service she provided. This shows that Camping World is trying to address the issues and hopefully soon customer confidence and satisfaction will be restored.

Honestly I won't be going back my first camper purchase and I wish I had not. Or atleast from them anyways. Camper did not have everything hooked up right they didn't know much about the camper and the whole process took me 5 weeks they promised me another of things and never came trough with most I left rushed out cause they where in a hurry. Was supposed to get a king pin stabilize and they forgot it but it was in my agreement with them I tried calling them and its alway they will call you back in a few and they don't. the camper needed the water to the ice maker fixed the inverter hooked up and I had to pay to have the tank drain they broke before I even owed it fixed. But I was promised I'd get the money back im still waiting on thet. I was told sorry alot but still seemed like they didn't care. The only part that was fast was signing the loan papers after that it was slow and no one seemed to care.

My,husband and,I bought a new Aria. We were lucky enough to deal with Adam P.. He was fantastic .Then we were assisted by Adam F in the financing department .What a great guy. I had some,concerns about some of the financing and texted Adam P after 10 at night and he had Adam F call me. Adam was on vacation and didnt hesitate to call me. He stayed on the phone till after midnight with me to make sure I understood everything. If you come here make sure to ask for the Adam's you won't be disappointed..

Hunter our salesman was amazing. I was skeptical to give person information over the phone since we live in deleware and the camper we wanted was in North Carolina. We started out in the Myrtle beach camping world for the same toy hauler. When we contacted the sales dept they basically acted like they didn t want a sale. We found the same toy hauler for $12,000 less and so glad we did. The staff is amazing and we will definitely be back. We will drive 10 hours just to get the treatment we received

UPDATE - AJ saved my first camping weekend with my wife from being a disaster. We went to pick up our RV from storage and I quickly realized that I didn't have the proper tool to set up our weight distribution hitch. I went inside and ended up borrowing one of AJ's tools. It was already 6pm and time for him to be leaving soon, but he didn't hesitate to let me borrow it. I struggled on my own for about 20 minutes and AJ soon noticed from inside and came to our rescue. He took even more time out of his day to ensure that we got set up correctly and knew how to replicate it moving forward. Seriously can't thank him enough. Really appreciate it. Thank you!

Hunter is the man. We purchased our first RV in November and he has helped us through every step of the way. He is always willing to answer any questions or go the extra mile to ensure that our experience is positive. It really makes a difference and brings peace of mind knowing that we can count on Hunter. We bought a class-A motorhome from Camping World of Asheville. Our salesman Tom Nail was very professional while also making us feel welcomed and appreciated. The shop personnel, especially Shop foreman Josh, who walked us through the Pre-Delivery Inspection and Delivery Supervisor Jeff were extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. They too made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Overall, the Camping World of Asheville team made the purchase of our new RV easy and pleasant.

We have been to this site a million times to look at various campers. We found the one we wanted, but once the coronavirus hit, we were stuck waiting for the model camper we wanted to be manufactured. After months of waiting, we finally found a few on the lot here in Hendersonville. SO much thanks to Wes Curry and Adam Parker for helping us get the camper we wanted and allowing us to bring it home today!! We LOVE it and cannot wait for our adventures in this camper with our family! I would suggest, if you are looking for a camper and would like great advice and assistance in getting one, ask for Wes Curry and Adam Parker!
