Worst experience of my life. We booked a year in advance and 3 times they changed the coordinator to a different person and had to completely renegotiate everything. We fought for months to get a contract. They are crooks and liars, completely unorganized and incompetent. They will not be able to continue doing business this way and it is a shame because it is a beautiful place, too bad it is full of idiots. Do not even think about trying to book your wedding with them, run away.

Very nice and fun golf club...if they would keep it in shape of play. Very often the greens surround are very smooth to much water. Heaven by walking you damage the area. Sands trap needs sands!

It is frequent that there is a kart issu at this golf club, specialy in the afternoon in winter time. And the kart needs attention for the least to say!

I have bring these issu to a manager recently and told me to go play some where else!!!!! that's not a way to treat customer who plays around 50 rounds per couples and very often brings friends to play with us and from now on...will play some where else!

I recently started playing golf, i have always complained to a pro friend of mine about the starters. most of the courses have extremely rude starters, but not this course. Hal has been very friendly and very nice to us. I drive 40 miles north every Sunday to play woodland, just because of Hal's hospitality.

The golf course allowed so many people we had to follow a group of 6 in front of us with a five some in front of them. It made a 4 hour round take 6 hours, this is the worst managed course in south Florida, this isn't the third time we have had to follow large groups that cannot even play reasonable speed of golf. These large groups insist on playing from the black tees and have no golf etiquette. It is s shame the golf course doesn't even try to manage the play once they get the money it is a free for all on the course.

Love the Profusion with golf, for the cost of lunch get a bucket of balls and first round of drinks 2 for 1! 4 stars only because it's season and play is slow due to couples golf making a day of it. Speed it up people!

Watch out for the scam.

Watch out for the scam.
After the golf I went to the club bar with my golfing friends and I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir to the waitress, I received a glass of wine too hot, not sure yet that it is pinot and A $ 15.05 bill was the first and last drink I ordered at Woodland.

I flew in to the area for business and wanted to get a round in. Saw the price and thought why not. My mistake to do that. Course was in ok shape, a lot of areas were not in the best shape or the prettiest. My biggest complaint was the rentals. I asked for two mens, stiff sets - one for me and another for a coworker. What we got was a mixed set. Had a mix of outdated clubs, women clubs, and senior clubs. All different types. The other portion that really didn't sit well was the woods and majority of the clubs had old worn down to the metal grips. I understand the sets will be mixed, but you can't afford putting on a $2 grip on these clubs? When I complained to the front desk, all they said was "sorry we had a couple of sets stolen a few days ago." I call BS on this. Very disappointed. I would advise others to not play here. $80 with the rentals down the drain, but hey I guess you get what you pay for.

We've been here a couple of times since we moved to FL. The country club sits on the main avenue of the Woodlands subdivision of Tamarac. It is the home port for two 18 hole golf courses and in the center of a wide range of homes from some nearly ramshackle HUD homes to some gorgeous high end properties.

First, there is the issue of parking. The clubhouse sits on a hill. We all know that hills are pretty much nonexistent in FL, so they must have built one just for this structure. The parking is about a block down below the clubhouse. This would include the "accessible" parking for those with handicaps. You can either walk up the long hill to the clubhouse, or take about 5 sets of stairs to get you there. Either way, if you have challenges, there is no good way.

When we went in, there was nobody there, so we had to guess where to find the room for the party. There is a small "elevator" for taking people from one floor to the other, if necessary. The last time we went, I had to use it and, if nothing else, it was an experience. It's an open, sort of cage like contraption, that slowly rattles from one floor to the next. I was glad that I didn't need to use it again, because I didn't trust it years ago, and I doubt that it's gotten any better.

The general appearance of the clubhouse is dark and dated. It was built in 1968 and I'm not sure there has been any updating since. We guessed our way to the party room. The drinks were actually good and had a decent amount of alcohol. Hor d'oeuvres consisted of a cheese plate, some good spinach and artichoke dip, some hummus which totally lacked any seasoning or flavor other than garbanzo beans, and a cheese spread. Later there were some good meatballs and average spinach pockets.

It is my understanding from some of the members that the fees for belonging to this establishment are, "substantial." We've been to a number of country clubs over the years, and this one just isn't consistent with what you would expect.
