Excellent factory of accessories for racing bikes and world leading mountain bikes where I work for 38 years

Bicycle components that the whole world envies us. As a fan I consider them the best

I am a road rider & have used various Campagnolo group sets since 1984. "Campagnolo does not wear out. It ony wears in". This is true.

HOWEVER, this would be a 5 star review if not for the consistently misleading & poor instruction which comes with a Campagnolo chain. Campagnolo instructions are overly verbose & fail to impart key information. A simple and unambiguous English alternantive in just 4 steps:

1. Set the chain length by removing links from the end of the chain that does not have the notice attached.
2. Examine closely the two chain plates at the end of the chain that has the notice attached. One of the two plates is etched with several tiny numerals.
3. Having set the length, mount the chain on your bike.
4. Unite the two ends of the chain ensuring that THE GUIDE AND PIN ENTER FIRST, THE CHAIN PLATE THAT IS NOT ETCHED.

Campagnolo instructions say that the guide and pin must enter from the internal side of the chain after mounting on the bike. Critically, they fail to instruct the user to mount the chain such that the chain plate that is etched with numerals, is on the external side.

I was lucky enough to visit the factory of one of the most important brands for the cycling industry in Italy. Reliability, competence, research, technology and craftsmanship are the basis of the products that have come out of this factory for decades. I love cycling and the emotions it can give. Emotions made possible thanks to the work of Campagnolo employees. Well done.

Historic place of Italian manufacturing, premium brand and multinational of components and wheels for racing bicycles, a place of worship for fans of the bike world.
Unfortunately, there are rare occasions to visit a head quarter that protects patents in a world in continuous competitive race, as well as missing today museum area and a 'canteen' of opportunities for the runners to two wheels and the historic brand.

The whole population in one giant factory.
If the ball had such an opportunity to be here on excursion to all cyclists, it would help very much to understand how each detail is arranged. That the bicycle is a complex engineering design, and not just two wheels with pedals
