Camp Mishawaka Reviews

Our kids love, love, love Camp Mishawaka - which means so do we! Every year they want to stay longer and longer and they don't even miss their devices. In an ideal world, this is exactly how we dream our kids would spend their summer days - a constant supply of outdoor activities and creative projects, learning new skills, and interacting with kids (and counselors) from across the globe. I miss them tremendously, of course, but it is a gift that stays with them through the year. They are better humans in part because of their time spent a few weeks at summer camp. I cannot rate Camp Mishawaka high enough for how much they deeply care that your child has this experience, too.

Camp Mishawaka is my 11 year-old s happy place. Fantastic location and the staff is great to work with.

Camp Mishawaka is not only stunning with natural beauty, our daughters could not have has a better camp experience! It was their first sleep away for two weeks and next season they want to return for four. This is not only because Camp M has a great many fun things to do its in big part because the counselors to the owners are extreamely nice and professional. I wholly recommend Camp Mishawaka to all children and young adults looking for a fun, rich and positive social camp experience.

We absolutely love Camp Mishawaka! I spent 8 summers there as a child and now my two children get to enjoy this incredible place! They have the opportunity to try dozens of different activities. They also come home more confident and independent. I know there are many camps to choose from, but if you are looking for the most well-rounded experience in a beautiful setting, look no further than Camp Mishawaka!!

Our 9 and 11 year old daughters attended Camp Mishawaka for the first time this past summer, 2018. I was astounded with the exceptional experience our girls had. Camp Mishawaka is truly the quintessential summer- camp-on a lake in Minnesota- experience. They had a multitude of activities from which to choose, and the staff is extremely well trained, responsible, and mature. Our girls were at camp for 2 weeks, the longest time away from us to date. Within a few hours of being home, they both said they missed it and wished they were back. When we asked how they liked it, 1-10, they said "Infinity!" They want to go back for at least one month, if not two, next summer. When we asked why they liked it so much, they responded, "Camp Mishawaka feels like home."
We will definitely be sending our girls back every summer from now on. Camp Mishawaka is the real deal.

Loved it! Everything I hoped summer camp would be, and more. Still close with my camp friends. An awesome experience.

Super Belding is where I worked but as I understand it it is no longer there camping is what are summercamp should be about and that is what was taught there I have a lot of kids involved there I'm sorry it's gone

As a previous Happy Camper 40 years ago, we decided to send both our kids to Camp Mishawaka 4 years ago and every Summer they come back home Happy as can be, and wishing they could have stayed longer.
Believe it or not , Teenagers happy to be without any electronics and enjoying all the benefits of the Minnesota Outdoors interacting with their peers..
Every Summer their personalities have blossomed and developed more & more.
The values and teachings from Management down to every counselor at Camp Mishawaka has been a great asset to our Kids education.
I promise you, you will not regret sending your kids to this amazing place.
