A hidden gem! Awesome place, excellent service. Had the Breaded Lobster Tail and lobster Nachos....Sooooo good. If you're looking for a getaway go to Harbour Falls and check this place out!

4.5 out of 5. Great location on the dock at Halls Harbour seafood very good and very fresh. Can pick your own lobster and have cooked to order. Seafood chowder good but lacking a little spice (probably to satisfy all plates). Lobster grilled cheese very notable. Lobster roll good for the style. Indoor dining typical for this type of restaurant. Outside dining on deck has an amazing view.

Lobster fishing with a guide and explanation. Learned a lot about lobster. Detailed tour. Then eat freshly caught in your own restaurant. Very, very tasty. Simple wooden restaurant. Cozy and rustic. Very friendly staff. Nice size terrace. Is right on the Mehr. Very nice place worth going to.

I've only ever had the fish and chips here. It tasted great, but was served in a much different style of batter. Wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was still great! It's a lot about the experience, and the location! I love it!

Wife had fish and chips, she said fish was good, but didn't eat the chips, soggy. I had seafood chowder...very watery almost no seafood in it or taste... the amount of solids was as if I would have bought a cup not a bowl surely not worth the extreme amount I paid for it. I always go for the seafood chowder everywhere we go out to eat, I have to say this ranks as one of the worst I have eaten. Shame as this is suppose to be a seafood joint, sorry it reflects poorly on the province.

A restaurant just close to the ocean in a small fishing village. You get to walk on the seaside. This place has amazing pebbles and almost cave like rocks! This place is also close drive to Baxter Harbour Falls, like hitting two birds with one stone when you get to visit both beautiful places.

Some of the best lobster I ve ever had and we have lobster in Maine quite a lot! My only gripes would be the somewhat rude waitress and the extra 1.50$ for sweet potato fries, which had very few of them, I ve never seen such small portions! The photo below is of my dish, and I hadn t eaten any! Also I would stay away from the Blue Lobster cocktail soda, it s gross! Great location and lobster though!

As usual an amazing meal all around! My mother very much enjoyed her lobster dinner and my husband and I loved our lobster poutines! All staff wore big smiles and positive attitudes!

Well, beside having to go through the gift shop to place orders ( just to get you in there) they get you to pay up front for an extremely overpriced meal. They prompt you to tip before you enter the restaurant. The food was not good except the fries. We had three children ( bought two kids meals to share between three kids). For $75 we got three baskets of fries, two fish fillets, a small lasagna with garlic toast that did not taste like garlic and a really tasteless burger that left a weird after taste. Almost as bad as The coleslaw. The soda was in bottles and the cups of milk were about 3 oz. When we asked for water we were told the water was salty so a $3.45 bottle of water was available. The washroom asked for a donation to use it. No service beyond getting our food on the table. This is a terrible restaurant with terrible food and expensive prices. Wow!!!

Drove all the way there as the website said they were open on Wednesday s. Everything closed up. Would be nice if they updated their hours to prevent long drives for nothing. Very disappointing.

Great, fresh lobster sold in varying sizes. Boiled in seawater for a great taste of the ocean. If you like your lobster living and jovial just 10 minutes before it's served, this is the place. Store comes with a great selection of candies and chocolates (the sheffield hangover drops are great).

Not good experience. Only thing good was their fries. Fish was tough and batter not good, clams were undercooked. Found an earwig in our food which I suspect came from the kitchen but am not sure could have flown in but was under the fries. Waitress offered to replace the food but we were already almost done and turned off of their food.

Picturesque We passed in the area stopping there. We did not eat there but bought a souvenir of the place. It is a picturesque fishing spot that deserves a detour.

Went last night after all day bike ride, four of us ordered together we had lobsters and others had lobster roll and fishermen platter, the lobster roll was loaded with mayonnaise and made lobster indistinguishable my friend tried to explain to manager in dining room but she was not accommodating and refused to allow any complimentary lobster roll without mayonnaise (unless he paid another 20). The lobsters showed up after friends finished meal so the staff do not take preparation time into consideration when serving. All this aside the sunset was unbelievable unfortunately you cannot see it from dining room!

Neat concept (pick the animal you will eat). Don't go here if you're in a rush, you will be here at least an hour. Lobsters are well cooked and served with clarified butter - it's not cheap but considering the price of lobster right now very reasonable.

Had fish and chips as well as clams and chips. Both were very good. Not homemade fries but they were good. Service was excellent and the restaurant was spotless. Covid protocol was in place and things worked seamlessly.

This place is an absolute RIP-OFF. For example, $23 for clams & chips. Other menu items are similarly DOUBLE what they should be. This is scandalous, and tarnishes our good name. Visitors will come away thinking that Nova Scotia gouges the tourists. Here's another little gem: You can't actually order IN the restaurant. You have to order in the gift shop! LOL Just to manipulate you into the gift shop. And it's confusing and inconvenient. Worst of all, the food isn't even good.
