Love all they are doing in the community, really changing lives and help people find a purpose in their lives, bring individuals closer to God. Love volunteering, love the worship services they help understand that with God i can become a better person a better wife and a better mother.

I grew up as a Catholic. My parents got a divorce when I was 12 and my dad remarried when I was 14 to a Christian woman. I went to a church that seemed pretty boring to someone my age. At the age of 16 I received Christ, after getting more into the Bible and feeling convicted by sermons. God brought purpose to my meaningless life! But since the church I was attending only had about 10 youth and half of them were my relatives, I had no Christian friends. I was somewhat against mega churches only because I "heard" how they steal your money and how you won't be able to have relationships with people since it's not a small church. I was wrong! When I was 18 I was invited to Eikon (a young adult ministry in Calvary). My first week there was amazing, so I continued going to Eikon. Eventually I was curious about the weekend services so I went. I made it my home church immediately! I grew in my faith tremendously! I made so many Christian friends that helped guide me in God's way. It's all about stepping out of your comfort zone. Never go to a place close minded expecting others to come to you, no one knows your new. Before going to Calvary I was a bit religious, somewhat anti-world. My friends helped me not be in a Christian bubble and be more loving to people, like Jesus was to the world. I serve in the High school ministry and Children's ministry, I love it! They have everything for all types of people! I'm sorry to hear that some people had bad experiences with the whole not letting a baby/child in the sanctuary, but honestly it can be a huge distraction. What if that one thing that was needed for someone to hear was missed all because of a distraction? We have to be selfless and considerate for everyone to know Jesus! Hope this helped someone that is looking for a church to grow, fellowship, and have an awesome experience in there faith! God bless!

I've been to many churches in South Florida but I love love love this church!!! My children also love this church. It is a wonderful place to worship God and be in the presence of God. The people there are very non-judgemental. The praise and worship team are on point you really feel the spirit of God. The pastors are truly vessels that God uses to bring forth his message! This is a bible-based church and I think that pretty much anyone who attends will be blessed by the service.

This is my church and love it! Looking for a ne church at just want to visit, this is the place to come.

Great people, great service, great childcare, programs and community services. The Word I'd taught, rightly dividing the truth. God began it with Bob Coy and continuing it with Doug Sauder. What a great Mastermind we serve!

I went to Calvary Ft Lauderdale for about one year before moving out of the area. People from every walk of life attend this church. It has been nothing less than the perfect church for me, I'm still trying to find a place of worship like it. Amazing music, great bible studies and great people to connect with. As far as the comment by Redway Robbie about the money, if he actually went to a service he would know that Calvary does not ask for people to tithe. In the year I attended, tithing was mentioned probably twice when they were making serious renovations. They want people to want to give, not be guilted into it. And for Karen Sweeney bashing Pastor Bob, do not judge him. We are all humans and are all sinners. That is why we are who we are and God is who He is.

Simply amazed at Gods sovereignty . I m relocating to Ft. Lauderdale February 4th 2018. I have been praying for direction and for god to lead me to the church where he wants me. It all started with getting information concerning joining Beth Moore the 23/24 of February. So the Holy spirited directed me to look up where the event with Beth Moore was going to be and so I started looking at There pastors sermons at Calvary Chapel when I sensed in my spirit to watch his sermon which was his last one on the book of Ruth and right in the middle of it he showed a clip of three woman whom had been in prison and my passion due to my own experience is prison ministry . God will give you confirmation after confirmation and I am in such awe of my lord right now for giving me such clear direction !! I AM SO ON FIRE FOR WHAT THE LORD IS DOING IN MY LIFE IM SURPRISED THEY HAVEN T CALLED THE FIRE TRUCKS !!! Can t wait to meet pastor Dave and his wife and be a part of this awesome ministry. Come boldly and tell the world what jesus has done for you ......

Calvary chapel has been my church for my whole childhood to some of middle school. Being at this church I noticed some things. In the middle school or teen ministry maybe during six grade for me I think is when they stopped allowing the kids to worship at the alter, and looking back on this it's outrageous to me.

There is no freedom in this church, no freedom to truly love and experience God, this church is a world pleaser church that scratches the back of your ear and always preaches baby messages nonstop, giving people no discernment and no wisdom. Just empty baby messages.

I'm not gonna lie my favorite part is the worship but for me it's hard to worship in your seat around people that pretend like they love God, and go back to their Lukewarm selves when the get in the car. It makes me want to throw up because all those times I thought my mother was really saved and following after Jesus, we get in the car it's like nothing ever happened.

I found a new church, it's spirit filled and they allow me to go the alter in the adult sanctuary. They taught me about speaking in tongues, and having events where people get healed of sickness. And looking back I feel like Calvary chapel stole something from my Cristian experience of life.

If you still want to go here pray and God will answer you. This hose who truly love him hear his voice. And I pray to anyone that may read this, is seeking a deep relationship with God because I looked and found nothing at Calvary they only gave me the basic scraps of Christianity. And before finding my new church (Words of Life) I went to two dead churches. That is Calvary, and this other church in New Jersey. And a really funny thing that they had in common is that both churches had a pastor cheat on his wife for a stripper. And if you are in the highest position of a church and you do that. It shows that God really did mean it when he said all corruption will be exposed. And if the pastor was corrupt, what do you think the messages he spoke were. Baby messages that teach you that everything is ok, worldliness is welcome in that church, and those who of the world do not love God. So for sake of all things that are holy do not go to a dead church.

I can't believe that I read negative reviews on Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. I have been attending Calvary since 1995-96.
It is the best thing that ever happened to me.
I was brought up in the Catholic Church and never ever with Catholic Church and school was I spiritually fed as I am at Calvary . They teach the word in a way that anyone can understand using examples of today's life experiences and how we live every day comparing scripture to real life. I have had nothing but good experiences and I've been going to Calvary A long time . I have gone to three different campuses other than the main campus in Fort Lauderdale and I've had great experiences with every single campus. I would recommend it to anyone and the people that say it's about money they have no clue... wouldn't even want to begin to compare the Catholic Church to calvary and I won't. Calvary Chapel offers many many groups for its body of Christ (the members) all types of prayer groups, education, and counseling...what they do and give to the community and to their members is unbelievable more than any church I have ever known .

This church saved my life and family. Thank you Jesus, you are so faithful and sovereign

Ran into the church office with two small children, the smallest crying (2mo & 3yr old) asked security if the bathroom had a baby changer. Both children needed the restroom. He said yes and directed me to it. But no changing pad in there. I asked the receptionist she said all restrooms with a baby changer was locked. I said are you sure? She said yeah sorry you can change your baby on the table here. All the while looking at me as if Im sketchy. I proceeded to make do in the restroom offered changing one kid letting the other use the potty then left. It dawned on me how huge the church is. A school, a restaurant all on the compound. I got to the car and called the restaurant and asked if the restrooms were locked that had baby changers and was advised no they are open if i needed to use them.

I am so disappointed with how me and my children were just treated at a church ive attended on myltiple occasions, i did my pre marital counseling there, i used a pastor in Calvary to marry my husband and I, Ive been trying to get my child on the waiting list for the school. I cannot believe the treatment. Why would the receptionist tell me there is no restrooms available to change my baby? Not very Christian like.

Great church. I especially love the children's ministry.

When I was going through a very traumatic experience and being abused by my ex husband, I was told by a counselor there to just submit to him. I needed good, professional help, but they said that if 3 sessions with their counselors did't solve the problem then I must not be praying hard enough. And for the record, I believe in the Proverbs 31 wife and man is the head of the household.

Calvary has changed my life and my walk with God. This is home for me

Been with Calvary Chapel since 2006 , paid my thides to the church, became homesless due to loss of income, went to benevolence for some form of assistance, was turned away as i was told, i didnt seem like i wasnt suffering. I guess to the church, suffering has a look. My daughter and i slept in my car for 4mnths , they did not offer us a plate of food. This feels like wat the bible talks about running to the rock and the rock running away.

The church is a very well balanced one and does what The Bible and God tell them to do. Very rare nowadays!

I am reading some of the posted comments. OK to complain, but why so negative. Why sow the seeds of discord. There is no perfect place and you disgruntled persons are the same as the rest of us sinners. Calvary Chapel did a very good thing throughout the Pastor Coy problem. I expect Pastor Coy himself set it up that way. Keep up the great work of God Calvary Chapel!

The most amazing church! Extremely welcoming, but I won't lie, it can be a little overwhelming because the campus and the 'sanctuary' (that is what they call the main church room) is HUGE. The people of Calvalry do try their best to greet and warmly welcome all newcomers as they enter.

The music and worship is like you are at a free christian concert - if anything, come for just the music... then stay for the message! :)

Pastor Doug is the main campus pastor, and he does an amazing job translating all of the scripture into verbiage that applies to everyone of all ages and walks of life. There are groups almost every day at various times, at all the campuses, so you can find the things that interest you to help you break into smaller groups and really plug in.

If you are looking for an amazing church home, that doesn't care what you are wearing, accepts you for EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE, and is just so happy you came, that is Calvalry Chapel. We hope to see you soon! <3

A wonderful church .... an energy and synergy that fills us and comforts us ....

I have been to a ton of different churches and heard many different pastors. But, I have never had the great pleasure of watching such a wonderful man of God. I never hear him contradict the word of God, and I read the bible in full 3 to 4 times a year. I have never heard such insightful preaching and totally without compromise. I believe Bob would die before he compromised God's word of truth through Jesus Christ. Then there is his awesome sense of humor! He is TOO funny!!! I laugh so hard! The only issue I have is the media player the web team picked does not work well. It only gives a tiny screen or a blurry full screen. The only problem I have with Bob is he picked Ft Lauderdale, FL, and not Vancouver, WA to start his ministry. I have truly given thought about moving down there so I can go to this church.

This is a real Christian Church. If you want a safe family fun experience while learning about the Gospel of Jesus Christ not to mention great food you got to come here.

I just love everything about this church and it's leadership

I never thought I would ever leave negative feedback on a church. I recently have been tasked with divorcing my abusive wife with 4 kids I been trying to get help or talk to someone. I was referred to get a scholarship to watch the kids as a working father and restraint order against my wife I have no one....I mean no one to watch the kids. I kept getting bounced around from dept to dept. This person that person over 4 out of 5 I left messages for have yet to call me back. What happened to the church being the backbone I see now Calvary is just about money. I was quoted $648 per child per month for daycare/school. I asked for referrals there has to be someone in the church able to help recommend a baby sitter I was told very sorry we don't do that. I been a Christian all my life fallen off the horse several times but I am very displeased with the treatment recvd from staff. They seem to give canned responses I pray that God forgives you all for passing me off like I was left overs at the dinner table I have a heart and soul and so do my kids and CALVARY YOU CRUSHED IT EVEN MORE. I WON'T BE STEPPING FOOT INSIDE YOUR DOOR ANYMORE!!! YOU PREACH ONE THING AND DO ANOTHER!!!!
