Great teaching. Biblical truth taught in a very understandable way.
We are blessed to be part of each time at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. I invite you to have the same experience next Sunday at 11:00am.
This church does such an amazing job teaching the word of God
Beautiful Church, friendly, and great Praise and Worship, fantastic message...
I love the service. When I first started attending I coud not understand the bible. I am now able to read and understand what I am reading. Provebs 4:7 With all thy getting get understanding.
The best church I ever been. Love the music, the service is great and makes u understand better the bible.Great activities for kids all ages. Big , clean and friendly campus area. Is just all i was looking for in a church.
How I love coming to service. The people, the energy, the praise, the worship, the message... the spirit of God is felt by me every time I attend. How I love attending! Thank you Lord!
We just got married and almost left each other we stood in church and here we are 4 years later it was a blessing when times was hard and getting to know each other was so hard for me and my wife. The pastor prayed for us and told us to put god first and we are happy we have all we need and are best buds
I attended Christmas Eve services here. It is on FL and my brother and his wife go here regularly. I have been many times over the year when visiting them. It's a very large church.
Very nice church...pastor are very kind with every one who goes there...But please, try not to forget your belongings inside the church...you might never get it back...I left my phone with my identifications inside a brown case and , my identifications were returned to the lost and found, but the phone was gone with the wind...But God will deal with that...please go to calvary Chapel you going to have a wonderful day...God bless you all...
Nice church. However they do not return calls when requesting information on their services. Very nice chapel for a small intimate wedding.
Big loving family that love Jesus and show it by loving others. Inpspired and uplifted today. Great sermon, Pastor Doug! Great worship!
Amazing services and lead pastor who always has a great message to share.
So blessed are those who walk with The Lord and do so with the Calvary Chapel family of Fort Lauderdale
One thing about this place - it's not stagnant! Pastor Bob Coy was led to build this place, but it wasn't destroyed by his follies.
The new leadership wisely rotates teachers and speakers (I don't think they would take offense and call themselves prayers and pastors at this stage), and seem to succeed in avoiding individual fandom - while fostering continuity of messages, with the Bible as the base.
This place is large enough for desired anonymity, yet has the available intimacy of concerned staff and volunteers - even online!
This week was another level though - check it out!
Thanks GOD for your church!! We are the church we are HIs church!! Happy are those who trust in the LORD, who rely on the LORD.
Jeremiah 17:7
Beautiful service I felt great after I left praise our Lord Jesus Christ
Doesn't God say he who has not sinned can throw the first stone?
Beautiful place, beautiful service, beautiful people. Will definitely be back!!
A great place to learn and enjoy family atmosphere.
People are quality.
Always a great service, Pastor Doug always with a strong message. Great people & music
Very nice church that s huge! Despite the size the staff are extremely welcoming. They stick to their principles and the sermons are well written.
Great Church , very welcoming no issues about other denominations , everyone is welcome
I love Pastor Billy's Eikon sermons because they are very convicting and edifying (we really need more of this in the sanctuary plus he does not rush but allows the Holy Spirit to lead his services whether we worship together or pray together it's always a blessing). I pray that we all wake up and be educated about the definition of true orphans. The govt. & many churches throughout this world profit from displaying false images of who is an orphan which are the schemes of satan showing babies and teens, but never displaying men and women without parents as though a widow who lost her husband can only be a certain age (true ignorance). This worldwide orphan scam is only to make money off of people and for us the church we bought the lie. Why are we the Church so insensitive to adult orphans just because they are no longer 23 years old and aged out of the governmental system of care? Only God knows if we are turning our church into a market place. If the adult is not a teen we can't profit or get credit from men. Are we pleasing men or God in show casing orphans as babies and under the age of 23? We assume everybody (every adult) has a family and make fun of those who disclose that they lost their family at an early age (remember they were once young too) we verbally attack them with worldly nonsense rather than seeing them through the lense of the Holy Spirit and showing true compassion by our actions. We use Christian lingo of God being Father to the fatherless, but refuse to receive adult orphans as mentors or even into our families because of pride and not getting credit for coming alongside of them the way the govt. does it for veterans. There's a major spiritual battle where we use the age limit to limit ourselves for caring (not money) truly caring for every orphan old and young that experienced burn out and trauma from their lost and ask to be connected to a mentor or family. Prayer is to see the Lord rise up for the orphans worldwide and put to death those wicked spirits who exploit the fatherless whether this orphan is young or old we should treat them the way we would want to be treated. The false advertisements needs to stop with us the Church.
Today May 20th, 2018, the pastor paints a fairy tale story about adoption as though when a child gets taken from their real family due to abuse won't experience and abuse, harm, or pain from the new family. They still paint us as babies and teens and still misrepresent the true meaning of an orphan. The bible never said that there is age limit the fatherless will always be fatherless from age 0-100 years old and what happens when that fatherless child runs away from abusive adoptive family they remain without a family to call their own unless people from the community takes them in and becomes the family they never had after losing their biological family. I know that not all adoptive families are evil, but we really need to learn how to weed out evil people from even considering adopting children with Exodus 22:22-24 which says "You must not exploit a widow or an orphan. If you exploit them in any way & they cry out to me, then I will certainly hear their cry. My anger will blaze against you, and I will kill you with a sword. Then your wives will be widows & your children will be fatherless." We got into what if every orphan could have a home as though every home was the safest place on earth we all heard or experienced abuse in the adoptive home and those evildoers of a substitute parent get away with so much murder. I believe we have fail orphans if we can't convict our congregation that adoption is not for everyone and that being fatherless doesn't end at age 24 just because it's convenient to not invest time and funds to bless the true fatherless person who aged out of this crooked system after knowing that he/she went through abuse & had to run away from it as a child in order to survive. This in turn leaves those with this kind of experience without a family, support of any kind, and this is devastating.
Recently moved from Wellington to Aventura. The Mullins from Christ Fellowhip are head and shoulders above Calvary's speaker. After listening to him for several weeks, I am now searching for a different church. Greg is a nice guy but not of the caliber of Rob Coy. A mega church needs a truly gifted man behind the pulpit, not just one who is personable.
I have attended Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale and have been a faithful supporter for over 13 years. Each year after Bob Coy left, The church has slowly evolved into looking like a casino and not a house of God. The last straw was when they removed/covered up the cross. I begged Pastor Doug Sauer to make it re-appear many times, but he ignored my plea. It s time for me to MoveOn to worship in an environment of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
Wow! This place is AMAZING! I have never been to such a huge place of god. They have so many different programs and even have a kids playground and serve food! I went for a special event so of course it was packed and parking was a little tough. If I didn't live 5 hours from here this would be my family.
Very welcoming I enjoyed attending Sunday service when I come and visit Florida.
Always feel welcomed & accepted! Great for the family and all ages!
Welcoming community that embraces everyone! Wonderful children's ministry!
This is my home church. You can cime here or to a remote campus
Nice interactive church to help volunteer and serve the lord.
We want to thank Pastor Charlie Halleran and all brothers and sisters in Calvary Chapel for praying for my husband Steve. He's been in the ICU for 5 days. The first day he was there, I connected with Pastor Charlie and continue to give him update, which he graciously responded. Our heartfelt thanks to all.
hello: Jamie I just wanted to say In had a good time. much fun there was I really didn't wanna leave. there was lots of things to really do can we say lets do it again in 2019 enjoy the times.
Large venue. Was there for LODD funeral. Rest in Peace Deputy Nimtz
A lot to offer with great preaching. But almost to big, easy to get lost in the crowd.
This was by far the worst church service I have ever been too. I have never written a review on here but feel caring loving people should be warned. I went to the Easter Sunday service at the football stadium which was great so I thought I would try out the church itself . Well, Pastor Bob must have been on his best behavior for Easter Sunday but he didnt hold back his narcissism one bit once I arrived to a service. I couldnt tell if I was at church or a republican convention. He trashed liberals, our supreme court, mormon's, muslim's...do I really have to continue. How in an hour long sermon can someone find the time to hate on so many people cause they have different views than himself?! If I wasnt mistaken I would have thought he himself thought of himself as God. Arent you suppose to leave church feeling good. I left feeling literally sick to my stomach for all the hate they tried to shove down our throat. Oh, and bringing a fake bomb into the sermon...really classy touch there Pastor Bob. Gross!!!
The services and classes are informative and spiritually enlightening.
i was Pastor/Teacher of Bible teaching Christian team Saturday nights Broward Main Jail & Tuesday nights Conti North Broward Pompano Facilities '1996-2001 Cerebral Hemorrhage! Banned walker/wheelchair! Brain ok!Chapel had separate ministry donated paperback Bibles we gave inmates and detainees!
Calvary Chapel is such a special place to me I'm lost for words. If you're looking for a new church to call home don't hesitate to check out Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale
I have been attending Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale since I moved here from Milwaukee Wisconsin in 2004. Still going and love it!
This is very important place when I can worship God and to have a good relationship with nice people.
Communities (everywhere) being changed, because of the handy work of CCFtL and their mission.
Moving experience, likely due to intercessory prayer during every service.
Such a loving community! Great people and a wonderful environment
Been going here for 10 years. Very positive. For everyone
This church is fun!! The church is very welcoming. They have a Christian school that goes through high school. They have many groups to join, a grill and its absolutely beautiful!
I miss Pastor Bob! It's just not the same without him honestly. But God is still God no matter where we choose to worship him.
pastor bob coy is my favorite pastor at all time .. i really miss going to Calvary Chapel .. i hope to go and see him one day .. and may god bless him and his family alway..
Love this church and all they offer. THey do so much to be the church not just attend. There are so many small groups for married, parents, and those who are hurting financially or from addiction (celelbrate recovery) to counseling services. 4 Kids is a great way to help foster kids. I could go on and on. Cant wait to go tonight!
