Would not recommend living here to anyone. Had many problems all year long and Callaway does not take you serious if you have a problem. I can t even count how many times the AC has gone out, how many rats we ve had in our apartment, and how disgusting the furniture and floors are. Oh and the fact that maintenance came and left my shower rod just thrown in my floor with all their supplies out and left my bath tub a complete mess. I also did call Callaway and they were supposed to be at my apartment 3 days ago. Still not cleaned up and not surprised at all.

To start on pros this apartment complex has a beau...

To start on pros this apartment complex has a beautiful pool, it has many seating areas and it also has a table with umbrellas. Although throughout the spring semester I found that people would come from different complexes to use the pool. This was not a big deal since they have such a large pool deck. The majority of the people would be mindful of those around you playing their music to an appropriate level. It was nice if you wanted to bring your speaker and listen to your music. The staff at Callaway are super sweet and ready to help whenever you need it. I found that many of them are students but upperclassmen. So they would always do professional actions. Maintenance, I can't say much about them but as far as I know, they would always come the same day as I requested one. I can't speak for if they did anything but assuming it's their job, they do. It's also super close to campus and walkable. For the bus, you're the last to be picked up and the last to be dropped off so there is never any room to sit or stand, and when A&M goes back to normal there will be no room on the bus. For the cons, this complex is not big so walking around it, it would take you 10 min. Our keys that are supposed to work at the clubhouse which is 24/7 DO NOT WORK. It's sporadic some people's keys work and some others don't. After 8 pm when the office closes and they have to lock everything up our keys never work. I stopped trying to go workout after 8 pm because my keys never work and they claim it's supposed to be 24/7. My apartment's floors are disgusting, You can tell they've never changed it out. The carpet is flat, and always super gross. I either wear socks all the time or slippers because I can not stand how gross the floors are. I sweep and clean very often and it still is disgusting. The dust build-up is ridiculous too. I will clean my room and the next day it already has dust everywhere. The vents have never been cleaned out and our AC filter gets changed every 3 months, and it's supposed to be changed every month or 60 days. I have a white comforter and it turned grey, as well as a white flag I have above my bed. Before signing with them I would make them show you a resident's unit because the bathrooms are so small as well as the rooms. I know it's an apartment but the bathrooms should not be as small as they are. You can't fit 2 people in the bathroom. They rarely do giveaways, and as a college student, I like free stuff. Other apartment complexes will do free food trucks, gift card giveaways, taco Tuesdays, residents week, and much more. This apartment complex does nothing. The real problem begins with the volleyball/basketball court. They have hours for their courts which I found ridiculous and our security guard would kick us off. The end time of the courts was 10 pm which makes no sense because our pool is open till midnight. We had a big snowstorm in January, and while everyone else was on a rotation of electricity my building had none, so it was below 30 degrees for about 5 days. They couldn't do anything when everything was iced over and that's understandable but when it takes 2 weeks to fix the annoying problem. We then lost water due to the freeze of pipes, but throughout this time Callaway villas never sent out any information about what was happening or what they were going to do to fit it. Their communication with residents is horrible. We had an active shooter behind Berkeley house and got no notice. I had to find out from the news, but it would've been nice to know what was happening from the place I live at. Parking and the gate is a whole other issue. I found the gates always open and broken. As well as my name never came up in the intercom system so anyone visiting would have to wait for the gate to open by someone else. Parking at this complex is insane. If you don't have covered parking, good luck with finding a place to park that's not across the complex. As well if you have covered parking and don't want it anymore you have to find someone to take it from you, otherwise, you're stuck with paying for it.

I have a year lease with them, 10/10 customer service, 10/10 gym- many gainz have been acquired there, 10/10 printing-unlimited as long as you supply the paper. Being close to the tracks is not a problem at all and honestly it s the best location in regards to walkable distance to campus (and McDonalds)

We are renting for the summer months and we have had an amazing experience with the staff!! They helped coordinate everything from the documents to the kind of rooms they have. They helped immensely with some of the stress that goes on when sending child to school.I cannot thank them enough for helping me navigate through this system. I could name probably six young adults that helped me throughout and the assistant manager or manager Corbin was incredible. Everyone s on the same page- they all want to help.If you re wondering if your child is going to be taken care of this is a very good indication in my opinion.

I'm the (paying) parent of a resident. It took 24 hours and multiple calls to get someone to go see my daughter's apartment, which had 3 inches of water due to busted pipes. Management refused to move her to a dry apartment (even though available). It's been a week, still not fixed...and she has no access to the main living area, no water or means to make food or heat food. We've had to pay for several nights in hotels and have food/water delivered to her (she doesn't have a car)...and when my daughter asked if someone could drive her to the hotel we booked, they said no :( It's a helpless feeling, especially since we live out of country. Very poor management (owners). Would NOT recommend!

Update: I'm adding more images to what my daughter and her roommate came home to a few hours ago. Please tell me how this mess is considered a safe and acceptable place to live...and to make matters worse, when she and her roommate returned, maintenance didn't lock their front door?! And still no running water :(

March 22, 2021 update - As you can see in the images (one month after the storm), hardly anything has been done to fix my daughter's apartment. Granted, she does have heat...but pipes are still broken downstairs and she's unable to use the kitchen, living room and downstairs bathroom. Callaway Villas offered "alternate" accommodations in the form of an unfurnished dorm room and is allowing her to eat from a meal plan, which is progress....but charging us $550 a month for her to only have a bedroom as a living space is completely unreasonable. And worse, her apartment is not the only one in this unlivable state!? Poor management is one thing, but for over a month leaving kids in this mess, well, that's the saddest part.

(And Rachel K., who responded to my last post, I have never worked with Lylah. No clue what you're talking about here? I did reach out multiple times to your help line weeks ago. No more reaching out on my part. You can contact me. You have our information, you've had it all along.)
