California Commercial Investments Review

Love this apartment and the building. I m a Disabled Veteran, and staff and management here are wonderful. I look forward to living here for the long term and would highly recommend.

There are no reviews on Sharlo Terrace in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but, as a retired, disabled property manager myself, I find management of the property lacking, and there appears to be no oversight by California Commercial Investment Group in California. Anyone like me with adult children should not live at the Baton Rouge complex as management refuses to allow over-night visits. I require a Live in aide and my adult children are prohibited from staying in my apartment as relief for that Aide.

My mother lived here since 2002. I moved with her in October 2013. The building looks great. It is a good location, close to major stores and restaurants, as well as the buss stop. We have a nice patio and a great Community room with a large TV were we can socialize. Maintenance is on 24 hrs and the maintenance crew is very efficient, responding to our calls and keeping the building clean. We feel safe, more so since we got the camera system installed last year. The new manager has done an excellent job getting things done after this long winter. She is stern, but fair. She is working hard to have the building run smoothly. I believe she is a great addition to Brook Village.

I stepped into this beautiful independent-living community about five years ago and was impressed on the very first day of my Occupation of beautiful studio apartment.
This building is enclosed in beautiful environment, with self-contained infrastructure and utilities. The imposing 12- stories structure stands proud in San Farnendo Valley. The surrounding and landscaping is
accomplished beautifully. The car park is laid out systematically for visitors and occupants with foolproof security system. The building itself has got three-layer security system.
The meal-on -wheels program and serving of food is very hygienic.
The social events are organized by devoted social workers. The residents of all nationalities are taken care of by them, by providing them with necessary information , avoiding their several trips to various welfare departments.
The campus has a beautiful rose garden with well laid out walkways. Activities by residents in the morning and evening is just a feast to the eyes.
It will not be out of place to mention the devotion of management and maintenance staff for prompt service with smile .

I'm trying to find housing for my disabled brother here in Cincinnati. The front office is rude and confrontational. I had to call 4x to get someone on the phone. Not professional at all.

I would rate this higher if I could. The apartments are kept very well maintained. The common areas are really nice. I was afraid to move here because I heard horror stories for moving into a HUD unit but when I came and met Pam, the manager, I felt very welcomed. I never looked back, I couldn't wait to get in here and I only had to wait 6-8 months. I haven't been happier! You can be as open or as private as you would like, it's up to you! I love it here. The entire staff including the maintenance, the porter, and the social worker all go above and beyond. Never seen anyone on the staff in a bad mood, that is amazing.

I have lived at Independence Village in Colorado for 6 years. I really like living here. It is in a great location. It s close to the grocery store, post office, restaurants, and the gym and library I go to are right across the street. It s also on the bus route. The manager, service coordinator and maintenance staff are all so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend living here!

these people suck at running Apartments here is Iowa. The managers they hire refuse to reyurn calls to the residents. They never keep any promises made to the residents who rent from them. The maintenance crew lacks the knowledge to even change batteries correctly. They installed a ceiling fan in my apartment which a week later thru a fan blade at my wife. They attempted to fix the ceiling in our bathroom that was ruined do to the people above us over flowing their tub. they got paint and putty all over the walls, door, trim and floor, they never cleaned it up we had to. they tried to make us pay 5 dollars for a light bulb they changed when we complained the ceiling fan lamp keeps blowing the bulbs. which it still does. To me it would mean the fan/light is bad but what do I know I am a retired truck driver. The only wash machine in this building has been broken for over 8 months and they keep bringing in broken machines and wonder why they never work. they also threaten you with eviction if you complain cause the maintenance never gets done so they say you threaten them when you say maybe you should cook off this broken oven like we have too. The main office ine California is no help they never call you back either nor do they care hopw we are treated here.

I live in Independence Village in Fruita Colorado. I love it here, our manager Leslie is the best and truly worries about our happiness. Jessie is our "go to girl" for functions and to assist in everyday problems and needs as our coordinator. We are very blessed to live in a caring community with good staff and friends. If you are an older person or handicapped this is the place you would want to live! Clean and well maintained, peaceful to be sure..

My husband and I live in Fickett Towers, Van Nuys, CA since 2016. It's a great building and location. This facility is very clean and has welcoming staff. The Management office staff and the manager are attentive to tenant's needs and respond to all issues and concerns in a timely manner. Special sports programs are offered on site. The lobby is clean and welcoming to all. The laundry facility is up kept with technology. As a tenant, we feel that our concerns are addresses and management tries their hardest to may our leaving accommodations comfortable and enjoyable. We have a great location becouse the major stores, restaurants and buss stop very close. The Fickett Towers is really nice place for living.

I have lived on a cci property for almost 14 years, It is home,cci employee's take very good care of there properties,and strive on giving us a clean and safe place to be

I am resident at " Fickett Towers " Van Nuys, CA over three years now. It's a good location, close to major stores, banks, as well as the bus stop. I love and enjoy living here. The territory is huge, beautiful, and very well tended. People are enjoying their walks through gorgeous rose garden and usage of gazibo. Building is kept clean, inside and out, and all this is because we have such great community property manager Mr. Sergei Petrosyan. The best manager I ever had in all buildings I used to live in, not only here in California but my years in New York City (over 30 years). Thank you very much Mr. Petrosyan for making my golden years enjoyable.

I've worked for CCI going on two years and they have been a wonderful company to work for. They are constantly trying to improve and find ways to provide the best customer service. They truly care about their employees, their residents and their customers!

I would not recommend working there and management was unorganized, dragged their feet when it came to getting things fixed and didn't give the elderly the respect they deserve, wouldn't let my grandmother live there. Don't know if all property's are the same but corporate should know what's happening at all property's so either they know and don't care or not doing a good job by not knowing. They need better management they need better security and more positive interaction with public and residents. Just my opinion.

I'm very pleased to live at the Ficket Tower located at 14801 Sherman Way. The manager Sergey Petrosyan is very attentive to the tenants needs and the place is very well taken care of. The staff is also very friendly. I would recommend this place to any relatives or friends.

I moved to Independence Village in Fruita, CO in 2012. It is the best retirement/senior living in Western Colorado. The security, the staff are excellent, I have a dance group that goes to a lot of retirement places. We all agree this place is the BEST!!! We have so much fun here! Independence Village in Fruita, CO is so great! I am a care giver for several residents there and the staff is so amazing and caring. They really go above and beyond to make the people feel at home. They are always having parties and activities, they always have the lobby decorated for ALL the holidays. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a senior living apartment.
