Had a business there many years. Employees at CCAE, no loyalty or business sense.

Very nice venue and a not for profit at that. Saw the Marines 1st division band here. Had a great time. If i lived in the area i would definitely return fro some other shows.

Splendid location, albeit remote from most parts of San Diego. Reminiscent of an old European opera house.

Great shows on their calendar. Just finished a free, fun jazz concert that had a bunch of food trucks in attendance for dinner.

The bathrooms are located in the lower level but I didn't realize it until I was already upstairs for the concert. It has a nice sit down area at the entrance inside which is where I waited for my husband to arrive, I would have been nice if beverages were served there. Parking is free but arrive at least an hour early for good parking. I like when they have shows outside in the summer and curbside eats shows up. I love the food trucks and so do the kids.

This house also helps with a lot of the school programs of music and acting it is a very nice place

Lots of stairs!! Be prepared for lots of stairs!!! Oh, and a confusing layout. Bathrooms are remarkably challenging to locate.

We held a workshop in the conference center of this venue. The staff was amazing and attentive throughout the entire process. We are based in a different state and have to choose venues for our workshop without being able to tour them personally. Terri and her team sent us all the pictures, floorplans, and all the info we needed. They were really great to work with through the entire process. The day of the event was flawless. Everything was prepared to our specifications. We heard feedback from our attendees that the food was delicious. I would highly reccommend them for any event, and especially for corporate ones when you have to deliver to your customers!

Boring. I've seen better Christmas lights on houses.

This is a great community asset with lots of family friendly activities.

California center for the arts is top notch in presentations. There's always something for everyone.

Enjoying a wonderful event here tonight. Great location. Plenty or room inside and outside. Lots of parking and easy freeway acess.

Les Miserables!
During the first few acts I had no idea what was happening. I knew this was a musical but I didn't read Wikipedia or cliffs notes before. The performance was enjoyable but my favorite part was seeing little kids belt their voices out. Wow amazing if I could only do that too. The costumes were great and the orchestra seating maybe viewing ideal. I was sweep away by the singing and felt like I was in the French Revolution.

I will try to see more plays and musicals because I am hooked.

Friday food trucks and live music - good food and great listening!

I thoroughly enjoyed the show,& is a beautiful building, but they DEFINITELY need to have better directions to get to your seating. We spent a good 30 mins trying to figure out where to go you find our seats along with a group of around 15 we ran into in an elevator who were in the same position & just happened to be in our section. So be SURE to look into where EXACTLY your seating is AND how to get to it before getting there or you may end up late into the theatre, since to get to some sections you have to actually switch elevators on OPPOSITE sides of the building on different floors to get there & IF you HAVE to use an elevator instead of stairs like I DO that can be VERY CONFUSING! Other than that (semi my fault for lack of pre-planning issue) they REALLY DO have a GREAT selection of shows that can be enjoyed for ALL groups of people! I definitely recommend anyone looking for an enjoyable night out or special occasion to look into what events they have scheduled... (just look into your seating charts FIRST...;-) and your sure to have a great time)

I recently had a concert here and I absolutely loved it

This is a good little theater to see a show. The bar usually has some sort of snacks available. There are restaurants and ice cream within walking distance. Public transportation is accessible.

A wonderful venue for concerts...indoors AND out on the grass!

What a purely delightful evening full of excitement, beautiful Chinese dancing, a rainbow of colors, and so many wonderful stories they tell. The orchestra is superb, and it is just a very special evening. I have gone for the last five years, because each year, they have a whole new show.
I can't wait to see what they have in store next. You are not allowed to take photos in the program, so everyone can enjoy every advantage. You will love it! Go!

Great food & music but once sun starts going down they need more lighting

Great shows for kids!
I have been here for shows, a Gala, and for job workshops. It is clean and well maintained. We went to watch Little Mermaid and Peter Pan. Both shows had young performers who were very impressive in their art.
