Before coming to Caliber Master Builder we had gone to more than 5 builders, but as soon as we walked into the Show home, we were captivated by the warmth reception from Zeljka. Her welcoming personality, great sense of humor, friendliness, passion for her job and rounded knowledge of the industry was quite impressive. As a young growing family, we wanted a single family home with legal basement suite, Zeljka walked us through the whole process, explaining every detail of what we needed including renting our legal basement suite. One word that qualifies our new home is quality. Quality workmanship, solid built home, beautifully designed interior with many upgraded features, in fact our new home is a dream come true. The best part of this was Caliber Master Builder worked with our budget and gave us a stunning home that we still can't believe is ours at such a lower price compared to what we saw at their competitor's. We purchased our first new house through Caliber. We are really happy with the end result. Brenda was very thorough with the whole process so she kept educating us on what's going to happen next and always kept us in the loop. Our start with Caliber wasn't the greatest and there were small other concerns during the build but Brenda took ownership in everything she could and gave us a great service. I would be safe to say that she was the reason we chose to stick with Caliber. One thing I would like to mention in particular is that she was VERY RESPONSIVE. I didn't have to wait for days or even hours for a reply if I had any questions or concerns. The owner Ilia is a very reasonable man. He was always there to greet us with a smile and answer any technical questions Brenda could not answer. He did the final inspections and he was pointing out any minor deficiencies himself. That shows the character of the man. I also want to mention that the office girls Jen & Jill were very nice to deal with too. They always treated us with respect. At the end I would say if you want to deal with someone who is really putting efforts and going out of their way to build a beautiful house, I would recommend this group of caring and professional people.
Awful communication and difficult company to deal with. Brand new home built with multiple issues. They even forgot to paint multiple parts of the wall, built door stoppers so far out they do not catch the door. We moved in June 1st were told 2 months for landscaping and fencing... well going on 4 and nothing completed. All we get are excuses and "it will be completed next week" "we promise next week" now the season has changed and the ground is "too wet" maybe next week hey? Avoid at all costs.
We are very happy with our new home with Caliber Master Builder. We looked through 50+ showhomes from all sorts of builders in Edmonton and Caliber immediately stood out for their value and service. We previously built a house with a much bigger builder (Jayman Masterbuilt) and they'd actively discouraged us from making modifications to the base plan by preloading every change with huge upcharges. Caliber, however, worked with us to completely customize the floorplan to our specific needs- it included structural changes such as 10 foot ceilings and rearranging walls and adding doors. They also freely provided us with different basement floorplans custom to our requirements and provided multiple revisions until we are satisfied with the completed design. We tried initiate a similar process with another builder that is next door to the showhome and while they tried, they just couldn't match the price/value that Caliber showed us. We really felt Caliber valued us as clients and wanted us to be happy with their service and work throughout the whole process... - As we were building, we were in constant communication and contact with our salesperson through email and text messages. She would often check in on us and give us news about what's going on. Everything was upfront and we were never surprised. - There were times when we were busy and our salesperson either came in on her day off or stayed late after work to accommodate our schedules. - We wanted another outlet in the washroom that the electrician didn't think would past code. At one point, Caliber's President and Owner Ilia personally came onsite along with our salesperson, and our electrician to discuss the problem- all of them standing in our half-completed roughed-out ensuite washroom discussing various options and solutions until we were happy with what we wanted. - Caliber asked us where we wanted to mount our TVs. They mounted backing plywood to all the TV areas as well as on a ceiling for a ceiling projector mount without any extra charge. - We had a sidelight crack in the first winter. We sent a picture to Caliber and they immediately had All Weather Window come replace it without any questions. - The deck contractor actually installed the wrong material on our deck. We had one conversation with Caliber and the contractors came back, ripped out the wrong deck, and rebuilt a new proper deck within a couple of weeks when it was near 0C weather outside. - Our neighboring houses were being built when we moved in and it messed up our rough grade a bit. Caliber actually sent contractors out to re-do our grade and fix the window wells on our behalf without our prompting. Quality Workmanship - This is our second new house we've moved into and after one year now, we really are happy with the quality of the work done. - We ran into one of the contractors who did the ceilings during one of our early walk-through and I still remember how much pride he had showing us the stepped ceiling he'd worked on. My wife and I were joking that he was admiring his own work but truly, we were very happy with it as well! Overall, we had a great experience building this house with Caliber and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a custom builder they can trust.
We chose Caliber Master Builder to build our revenue property because of their expertise with legal revenue suites. We were very pleased with the result, both the main home and basement suite rented very quickly. We were particularly satisfied with the site supervisor Ed who oversaw construction. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, investor or otherwise, great to work with.

Caliber built us a custom infill home in Edmonton based off a layout we designed ourselves. As with any house, some minor issues occurred early on but were quickly fixed. To us it mattered more how the issues were dealt with rather than how they happened in the first place. The owner went above and beyond to accommodate us and our concerns. In one case he even met us at the hospital my wife was giving birth at, to pick up a decorative mirror we wanted installed prior to moving in. The owner is very respectful, and understanding of his clients. I wouldn't choose to build with anyone other than Caliber. No horror stories here.
Caliber Masterbuilder built a revenue property for us with four units. We are so impressed with this company, they use the highest quality materials, their workmanship is perfect, their commitment and communication is the best. They also have the best price! Everyone we worked with was extremely kind and dedicated. It was a pleasure to work with everyone at Caliber. Caliber Masterbuilder is the Best builder in Edmonton!
