I love it here! Only been here once, but i have a lot good to say about it. The Stampede is super fun! Rides are like carnivals and circus rides. There are a lot, and i say A LOT of people there, so you wouldnt want to get lost from your friend! Food and tickets are a bit pricey, but worth it. Awesome place to go in the summer (if there isn't coronavirus) and spend your time.... and money!

Would like to shout out to Steven, one of the staff members overseeing the beer gardens. He went out of his way to get water for my partner who needed some to help with her asthma. The kind of care and attention he puts into his work deserves recognition

Way too many strollers, wagons and uncontrolled kids. If you go at night there's lots of drunk people. The food is fun, the rides are ok and the vendors are agressive. Canned Budweiser is $8.50. Dont know why I go every year but I do. Go on the day when it's free entry and it hurts less.

We love Calgary Stampede. It s huge festival. We were overwhelmed with many many many to do in stampede. It s pretty busy. We went there for 4 days. I was order online 10 days pass for $39.99 it s great deals. And buy unlimited ride advance ticket at food shopping for $38.99 great prices. I would recommend order 10 days pass online because at the gate adult $18 child $11. It s much cheaper to use online. It s huge park and very busy. Would recommend use 10 days pass use anytime go in the park. We love this event. Wow so much fun!!

Stampede Park for Calgary Stampede of course. Second time going and I would go every year if I could. They brought agriculture this year 2018 Something new is always refreshing. That was new for me this year. I love farming #CountryGirl. So much to see, so much to eat of course (I didn t have a turkey leg in 2016 but I made sure I bought one this time around. Was so filling I had to share) and lots of fun on the rides, the music, I could go on...

Greatest outdoor show!

Greatest outdoor show!

The variety of things you can do, and all the food you can eat. There is something for everyone.

Rodeo - you can get standing room tickets for $18, but can only purchase on the grounds. For standing room, try to avoid a hot day as there is no shade at all down there. You can get tickets in the covered area (price ranges). We got our tickets for around $70.

Nashville North - Try to go just before the rodeo gets out, to avoid the rush and lineup. Although the lineups are not as bad as they used to be. The space is quite large now, with a couple of food trucks and ATCO bathrooms. You can get spicy cheesy fries, which are quite good after a few drinks.

Food I tried this year:
Colossal onion - it s pretty tasty, but actually quite large, and probably meant to be shared between 4+ people. Definitely worth trying once.

Mini donuts - a classic! Got them from those little donuts truck, and found they were not as fluffy as some other places. Would get them somewhere else.

Fried Oreo - very good, would get them again!

Poutine - The poutine truck by the BBQ row is the best. The fries are thick, the cheese is melty, and the gravy is good!

Such a huge place to go bonding with family. There are lots of attractions that can be enjoyed by kids, teens and adults as well. There is agriculture section with lots of farm animals and horses. Food stalls are available everywhere. Highly recommended!

We always come from Edmonton for a week to celebrate the Stampede. We always go to the exhibition grounds while we are staying in Calgary. Lots of fun . We will continue to go to the stampede grounds in the future. Everyone are friendly and they make you feel like family regardless what city you are from .

I swear this ask for a review comes up if I just THINK about Stampede so here it is.

Stampede Park is mostly useless except 12 days a year when it becomes the largest denim clad gong show you ever saw.
Outside of that time its a parking lot, a stadium that houses events I cant afford, and trade shows that I have no interest in. I understand its function in the city as a whole.

Huge outdoor event featuring rodeo, horse races, dog bowl, and hundreds of food and drink choices. Free stampede breakfasts are organized every year all around Calgary. The stampede parade is also a must see.

Yahoo! Still the home of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth for ten days, and the biggest headache of a parking lot for the rest of the year. Plenty going on here, whether it's Stampede, Flames games, or some other show or event. There's something going on almost every weekend of the year.

Five stars to the organization of this amazing summer fair! Lots of activities and fun stuff to do here! And neat eats! Fun place to visit! Families, try to visit in the early hours of the morning as it gets too busy and crowded if you have small children. I m giving 1 star to the terrible customer service of some workers ,specially the young people who couldn t care less and have no common sense on how to assist visitors in need. For years I have visited and we had a one time incident where a person was unable to keep walking and they wouldn t even try to provide a wheelchair when we needed one. they keep showing us where to go to but wouldn t try to help us out (three people in a row)Instead I had to go all around the park trying to find the place where they could rent one. This year I was with a screaming child and offered my ID to be able to go inside the bathrooms in the grand stand show, again the two young people were not helpful at all! They sent m across to find the other washrooms.
I find that the older workers and manages are super helpful and will try to assist you but the young ones don t really care.

Great venue for events like expos and shows. Lots of space indoor and outdoor for events, sports, rodeos, concerts, and the likes all year round.

Parking is currently $15/ vehicle so carpooling is a good idea. They do take cards or cash. Taking the train is also a good option as there are 2 stations on the grounds.

Food and booze will be pricey at any event here so you may want to bring snacks, especially for your kids as there's lots of walking to do.
