Calgary Avian and Exotic Pet Clinic Review

I took my guinea pig squeak in she is walking a little funny so we call her special pig. And to save costs because pigs think they are exotic she gave some pain meds and if 's.pig still walked funny on pain meds then it wasn't pain causing her to walk funny. Makes sense. As long as she isn't in pain. Well my special little pig still walks funny. I think she just likes all the extra attention and special cage and princess bed she get from being a special pig where as her 2 sisters still get chips and hammocks lol. And they don't sit on the sofa and watch TV at night.

Great vets! They've seen both my bunnies and guinea pigs and always go above and beyond to make us feel cared for.

When I first came to this clinic, I had a very sick rabbit, she was seen right away and began treatment immediately. I m there very often and I m greeted with smiles every time. I have nothing but great things to say about everyone here. Thank you guys so much for the care you give to Zoe. I truly appreciate it, I wouldn t trust her with anyone else.

We brought our bearded dragon for his first check up and everyone was awesome. 3 years later he got ill and with the great help from Dr. Korber we came to the decision of putting him to sleep. Dr Korber stayed with us for over an hour. A week later we received a sympathy card which was unexpected and very much appreciated.

We took our rabbit to be spayed. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The office is clearly quite busy but we never had an issue calling in and getting helpful information.

A truly amazing exotic animal clinic with very knowledgeable staff. Since adopting our first dwarf bunny 4 years ago, we have been going to them and we have always been extremely pleased with the service and experience at every visit. With what seems to be seasonal occurences of GI issues, our bunny has required more frequent and intensive care protocols than other rabbits. More recently, Dr. Chapman and Dr. Materi have gone out of their way to help assist us with our bunny's treatment and recovery, after luckily being able to avoid a surgical procedure. They have also been available by phone for the 24hr vet hospital to contact them with any questions or recommendations relating to exotic pet emergencies. We have nothing but great things to say about this clinic and we cannot thank them enough for all that they have done for us and our two bunnies. From the front staff, to the doctors and vet technicians, this medical team is absolutely amazing! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The staff here are really friendly and caring. Dr. Materi was awesome and gentle with our bun. She's a bunny owner too so you know you're in good hands! Our bunny is doing much better thanks to her

The vets and staff here are very competent, compassionate, and kind.

This place is amazing! Everyone who works here is so intelligent, calm, and overall wonderful. They vets seem equal parts physician and magician. They are so helpful I wish I could find a healthcare provider for me that was as good as they are to my pets! If you have birds, you would be remiss to not take them here!

Dr. Korber is one of the best vets I have had the pleasure of knowing in the past 20+yrs. Very honest, up front & compassionate. Long time staff who are just the perfect asset to run this place very efficiently. Luv you guys!!!

They have been absolutely wonderful with my two buns. Very knowledgeable and willing to help as much as they can. They are located on the other side of town from where I live but knowing my rabbits are getting the best care is worth the extra drive.

My 3 year old dwarf bunny had dental issues so I brought him here. The staff are all kind, helpful and very knowledgeable!

My Ferrets are all happy and healthy! Which makes me a very happy Ferrent (ferret+parent). All thanks to the amazing team at Calgary Avian & Exotic Pet Clinic and Dr. Leticia who was so nice and very thoroughl with all 5 of my catsharks! Im so glad I found just the right vet for my slinkies! I highly recommend to anyone and everyone with exotics to check this place out bring in your fur (and or Scalie and Feather) babies you won t be disappointed!

They always gave great advice, are able to fit you in promptly, and all the staff are very friendly.

My wife and I have been taking our bun's to Dr. Korber and Dr. Materi for over 12 years now. The doctors and the entire staff have been absolutely awesome!
