The place to be on a Sunday night. Killer DJ's and vibes galore. On the downside drinks are mega expensive and crowd control is a joke. I recommend knowing someone who knows the bouncer, or else be ready for a long wait outside. Also, if your daddy is a millionaire you can reserve a table with a drinks platter and that'll guaranteed you a good time.

A beautiful little beach front bar let down only by the clientele! Average age is early 20's and if you don't have the latest iPhone, a plastic surgeon, or daddy's credit card then you won't fit it. High maintenance girls and boys, waxed to within an inch of their lives, are all either on Facebook or in the bathroom fixing their hair, or powdering their noses, you get the idea... There are less pretentious spots on the seafront however, if you're one of the 'It' wannabes or want to see for yourself how rich kids spend their days, then this is for you.

All this sounds a bit harsh and maybe it's just too young and rich for me - you'll have to judge for yourselves. However you will leave feeling good that your life isn't this vacuous and how mobile phones, Facebook and selfie taking are just spoiling the experience for everyone.

ON A POSITIVE NOTE! the view, proximity to the beach and amazing in-house DJ, who plays the best house music during the afternoon, gives it an Ibiza feel which earns it 4 stars.

Live your lives while you have the chance and stop uploading the experience for your Facebook buddies. Nobody cares where you are or what you're doing, so focus on just enjoying it for yourself.

The place to be in cape town. This bar has been open for 20 years and has only gone from strength to strength. I myself worked as a bartender there in 2001. This for me is the only place to go in camps bay. I enjoy the afternoons there with a burger and a beer sitting on the main camps bay strip. Caprice own Sunday nights in cape town so make sure to get there early.

This place is perfect for a drink and some food during the day. On Sunday nights this is the place to go. It gets very crowded and if you get a table its often so crowded people standing take over your table so getting one upstairs or in the back is better. This is a must go place and people often dress fancier than they would going out downtown.

Quintessential Camps Bay eatery. Street vibe with great cocktails and wide drinks menu in general. We had a seafood platter (all elements were delish) and vegan cheese cake. They also had a gluten free option on the platter which makes my life a whole lot easier.

Lovely top notch vibe at beach for students and older. Amazing food! You get more than enough and the drink menu very divers. I would love to come again for a late day to evening party. Thank you!

Lovely way to enjoy the sunset on a Tuesday evening. Their 2-4-1 burgers on Tuesday were great. The burgers had such great flavor and the special made them really good value for money.
The only problem with the evening I had was that I felt like a second rate customer just because we came for the burger special and we were students. A fair amount of the drinks and wines are out of a normal students budget so it was not pleasant when our waitress gave us disgusted looks when we initially ordered a jug of water and the burger special. I know we were cheaper spenders than the average guest but I definitely feel we don t deserve to be treated differently and be her lowest priority constantly as we are still guests.
However still a really good night as we were impressed with the food and view. Bad service can t put a damper on a great view.

Awesome trendy little spot. Great for a meal or just for drinks. The music here is really awesome and puts you in a "chilled out" mood. You can sea the ocean from here. I'd say it's a must if you're in town.

OMG, I absolutely loved this place, unfortunately I couldn't stay long. I spent the day on the beach and went there for a late lunch. Good food, good views. I'll definitely go back.
