Amazing! And affordable! We are here for breakfast and came back with friends for dinner. Huge selection of unique items and beverages with something for everyone. This is what good is supposed to taste like.
The restaurant is always changing their menus which is great and sometimes a pain favorites. With that their food is always consistently good with great views from the 2nd level along with consistently good drinks.
I didn't have the best experience here. I don't usually write reviews but I thought it would be necessary to review the meal I had. My girlfriend had the $15 Cobb salad. The salad, which was supposed to include "mixed greens" and other vegetables was a pile of lettuce, and a very small amount of grated cheese, tomatoes, and avocado on the side. The poor quality chicken was lacking in any flavor or seasoning. She ate very little of it after realizing it was a stark difference from what was described in the menu. This was a very disappointing experience for a well known mid range eatery. I will mention that the waitstaff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice, however it was the food that ruined what was otherwise a nice dining experience.
Great food and great beer, wine, and mixed drinks selection. The outdoor seating is really nice and it's located right next to the indoor market. Would definitely recommend!
An excellent dining experience. It was a beautiful day to eat on the roof. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable about the beer menu and helped me choose one that was very good. The food was good.

We went to Milwaukee last year kind of on a whim a and lucky for us our hotel was about three blocks from here. We actually liked it so much we went there twice in the 4 days we were in town. The food was very good and the Bloody Mary's were great. The atmosphere was very laid back and comfortable.

There's always a wait for a table, which speaks to the quality of the food, however due to how massive the place is service tends to be on the slow side. But if you're patient it is almost always worse the wait! This place is all about high quality ingredients, unique combinations, and consistent execution.
Apart from the wait times on weekends everything else is top notch..
I come here about twice a year, when I am in town. The weekend mornings can have a bit of a wait time, but the food and drinks are always amazing!
This is a nice restaurant for dinner, appetizers, or just drinks. They have a rooftop area as well which is cool. The wait staff are all very nice. They have many choices of beer if that is your thing! I would recommend for someone looking to grab a drink or an appetizer but I can't speak for the entrees
Poor service and food was cold. Breakfast sandwich bread was hard and inside slimy. Won't be going back.
Nice setting. Menu could improve (no appetizers until 3;00). Not the best server. Maybe rooftop is better. Would give it one more try but first experience was shakey!!

Holy cow this Cafe is amazing. Found myself caught up in European culture on my early Sunday afternoon trip to this great Euro-gastropub. It was about a 25 minute wait at 11:30 on a Sunday. Typical wait and would recommend reservations beforehand if they accept them. Worth a call and definitely worth the wait! Had the Hodge Podge and it was fresh and delectable!

The food is pretty good, the portions are just smaller than I expect for the price. It is always pretty busy too, which isn't my cup of tea as a local. I was really excited that you could pour your own coffee while you wait, but the coffee was out :( The staff is friendly and the decoration is fun. Awesome outdoor roof seating is available.

I get that its COVID, but if you change your hours, please update your website & answer your phone. We called an hour before the amended closing time and no one answered. We were super looking forward to this food. Needless to say, we chose somewhere else for brunch the next morning. They lost out on business for sure.

This place is... Okay. It's not bad. Just okay. A good option if you are in Third Ward and want to grab something to eat. It's just there for you to stop by. Very welcoming atmosphere, open doors and outdoor and rooftop seatingd and all. I love that about this place. It's somewhere to stop by if you just can't decide where to go.
As I said, it's very welcoming. The rooftop is very chill and beautiful. Not to much light. Even the outdoor seating on the street. Actually, this place is overall a dark place. It's open but somehow also very dark. No big white tall walls and high ceiling here.
The Kale Artichoke Dip is to die for. You must get it. You must. It's spicy a little but it's so good. You have to try it. Trust me. The Macaroni and Cheese was also very good. It comes with some magical pickled red pepper that will make it taste so much better. Aslo, the California dreamin' is a very good option even if you're not vegan. Don't forget to ask for aioli. It's really good.
As you can probably tell, although this place offers relatively small-to-okay menu, they do it well. Very well. Food here is delicious.
Server was good and fast. There was a waiting when we walked in. The hostess took my phone number and a text message was sent to me when my table was ready! Very professional and effective implantation of technology.
Well I be returning? I have no doubt. But I don't see myself getting excited to go there especially out of my way. I'll just stop by whenever I'm around. Except for that Kale Artichoke dip starter.. The service was very slow. They apologized but no other amends than that. When we were first seated we waited a long time just to get water. It was like the server didn't even know we were there. We could see three people just hanging around the register but nobody seemed anxious to come to our table. Another server apologized and took our drink orders. The server assigned to us came over. She seemed a little lackadaisical. Pretty young. We still waited for water. We started to leave when the other server assured us our server had drinks on the way. Our server didn't seem to stop by very often and we waited for her to pick up the check.
The food was interesting, well presented and reasonably priced. We chose to eat al fresco and specifically on the sidewalk. The noise caused by excecively loud motorcycles made dining somewhat unpleasant. I don't hold that against the restaurant specifically but it does contribute to my dining experience. The slightly reduced 3 star rating has more to do with the service. We were greeted quickly and seated promptly. Likewise our server seemed eager to help us until we each ordered tapas (smaller plates) and not full dinners. After that the server was not seen until I had to ask for the bill. We would repeat as I didn't get the impression that this service was the norm.
Food was good, excellent wait staff! My only complaint, it was so cold inside my husband and I had to put our coats on. Brr
Delicious brunch food with reasonable prices. Came in for Sunday brunch and was seated immediately, though I can't say the same thing for anybody else. Our waiter was nice but it since it was busy, he did not come around as frequently. Will eat here again
Great ambiance. Went on a quiet Monday night for beers and sandwiches. 1st time visit for me. Ordered The Cuban and it seriously did not disappoint! Will go back to try a few more items that looked way too interesting to pass up...but was on a date so couldn't order 5 meals!
The food is excellent and the beers are outstanding. Prices are on the high side. Bring your out of town guests here and they will honor you forever above all else.

Must-visit brunch spot, or really any time of day spot, when in Milwaukee. Beautiful rooftop, great food, and incredible service really make this a destination.

One of our favorite places to take visitors from out of town. Food is consistently good and the beer selection and craft cocktails are top notch.
We went for brunch today. The service was average... my husband loved his food, the tater tots appetizer was awesome ... my food was ok. My salad was very good and the taste of my turkey salad rolls good. But I noticed on my way out mine was less than it should have been. Mine appeared to be a tablespoon of turkey salad and another customers was piled on... very disappointing
We chose this restaurant based on recommendations and also for the usually vegan option of the Impossible Burger. After we were seated I asked the server about the preparation of the burger and was told that it was prepared on a grill with the rest of the food. Most vegetarians and all vegans do not want beef fat sprayed on their burger! If you are vegan - stay away! No respect!

Great rooftop patio with a nice view. The layout of the restaurant and atmosphere is really nice as well. The waitstaff is a different story however.
They forgot items we had asked for numerous times, along with forgetting one person's entire entree. They insisted that they didn't forget however and they were just "waiting on the kitchen" but it seemed odd to bring out all the other entrees (we had a party of 10 and they brought 9 of them) without a mention as to where the other one was, until we asked 5 minutes later. It finally arrived after another 5 minutes, so everyone's food was sitting there for 10 minutes - not the best experience and they weren't too friendly about it. Food was mediocre. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.
The bloody's were decent but I'd walk across the street and get one from The Wicked Hop being that close.
