Excellent service & warm cookie dessert. Tomato basil soup a little too tangy for my taste but the cheese on top was a nice touch. BLT was above average because of the abundance of delicious, thick bacon.

Ordered brunch take out not long ago and was satisfied with the experience. Food was prepared quickly and was available for pickup right at the entrance, everything tasted well, and the price was right. Finding a place to park was not an issue at all. As a bonus, you can go eat at Fort Harrison nearby, if weather permits!

Great little place in Fort Ben. This place was the old blacksmith shop and has the original walls and ceilings. It's really clean and has great food and excellent service!!! We were really, really impressed with everything. They even make their own salad dressing and they were yummy too!!!

First time visitor, went for breakfast looking for a great biscuits and gravy, which I ordered. Comes with fried potatoes. I had two eggs added for $3.00, no they weren't "golden eggs", but they are priced like they are. The B&G were not very good. I only ate half. The coffee is $3.45, and you have to get your own coffee and refills. Over all place was busy, and way over priced. Final bill was over $16.00 for just me.

Great little place with big flavors! Be careful or you'll miss the place. But inside is warm and inviting. Had dinner (they just started offering it) and it was great. I had the 5 cheese melt with tomato basil bisque. Very good. The chicken special was great also. You'll be back once you visit!

Cozy brunch restaurant. It serves a variety a breakfast and lunch options. The portions size are better than a typical chain restaurant. Alot of the food and coffees comes from local Indiana businesses.

The pancakes are to die for.

Busy lunch time. Took a little time to get our order in. The slaw was unique with apples. A nice surprise. But my order to go came out bagged up and I saw a fly inside my styro container. It is summer but yeah. Opened the bag and it flew out.

This is one of my favorite local restaurants. They always have great service, I love getting to pick my own mug at the coffee bar. Everything I've eaten here is delicious. I love the exposed brick- great atmosphere. I've been told this was the original blacksmith building on the fort.

Not a chain restaurant. I've had breakfast & lunch here. Both were delicious. They serve large portions of food so, if you are a light eater plan on sharing a plate or having leftovers. They do not have a children's menu.

That's it --- that small building at 9134 Otis Avenue, just a little off 56th St., near Jockamo's Pizza. That's the place to go for breakfast. (It's more expensive than fast food, but not outrageous, and this is not cookie-cutter food.) I've never tried non-breakfast items here. The eggnog french toast is superb. The quiche is wonderful (perhaps not quite wonderful if you don't like quiche with beans, but there's a variety.) And omelettes? Oh yes. And my bacon was just the way I like it. Our service from Kayla was excellent. The arrangement regarding coffee (Get a Cup And Pour Yourself Some Coffee) might be something that some customers could be challenged to get used to, but I found it unproblematic. Though small, the building has a nice homey ambience. I found nothing to dislike (well, maybe too much sunshine, but it's not like they can turn off the sun); breakfast and Cafe Audrey go together like bacon and eggs! First-rate!

Food was good except mom said they were skimpy on the hollandaise. They were very busy and the busier they got the less friendly they were. They were so set on seating 2 people at 2 tops. A group of three men waited for ten minutes or more when there was a six top open the whole time and then overheard the manager tell the hostess to not seat a 3 top at a 6 top. Food is great but the service and lack of friendliness takes it down a notch. Did not feel welcome there.

Great food and wide variety to choose from. The pancakes were really good and look forward to going back to try more. They also have a self serve coffee bar with 4 different coffees to choose from.

We always love going to Cafe Audrey. They have both healthy and unhealthy options but everything is very tasty. I like their coffee bar and always hope to find their blueberry flavored one. Side note, pay the upgrade for the French toast as your bread, it's worth the extra $ and calories.

My first time there and I will definitely be going back! They dip their french toast in egg nog and it is wonderful! Huge portions and I really liked the little help yourself coffee bar! My mom loved her omelette!

Great little breakfast place hiding in fort Ben. Large portions of Grandma-style cooking. If you leave hungry, that's your own fault!
Pictures of their biscuits & gravy and 2 eggs and bacon with biscuit.

If you are on the east side or work near this place you HAVE to go there at least once. Quaint in a good way. Slow customer service sometimes but it's usually just because they are busy. Definite recommend.

Would have given this place a 5 but had problem with hostess. Put us at table in middle of room asked to move to corner table, she bluntly said no and walked away. Yet in the middle of our meal she sat people at the exact table I just requested!!! Had it not been Christmas Eve and my family with me I would have left. The food was good and our server was really nice.

I like the fact that it is in a building once used on the fort. Inside was buzzing with many people, making it an upbeat atmosphere. The food was delicious. I had a ranchero omelette. Loved the cinnamon toast! Coffee was very good as well.

The service was good and the waitress was polite. The environment was really cool and very unique. However, the burger I had was the most bland burger I ve ever had in my life. It s like they didn t use anything in the party. They just took ground beef, grilled it, then threw it on a bun. Also, they gave me the smallest pickle spear I ve ever seen and the tomato on the burger was wayyyyy to thick. That last part is more personal preference but good lord. Definitely wasn t worth the $13 I spent (didn t even get soda for that price).
