Great day spent here. Really interesting, interactive and informative. The 4d cinema is great but too short!
Terrible! Came all the way from Oxfordshire to be told there was no tickets to buy on entry.
There is a lot of long queues, but the rD show is brilliant
Tour is boring and slow. Sold as a self tour but then you get penned in rooms and are not allowed to move on to the next room until video's have stopped playing. Because we had a pushchair we were not allowed through to one of the next areas which meant we had to stay in the room we had just been in for another 8 minutes watching exactly the same thing. The only good part was the shop.
It's a place full of Cadbury goodness, what more is there to say?? You won't regret a visit.
Fun for kids and free chocolate what more can u ask for. The only thing was the cafe is over priced. Disable friendly
Fun place! Must see the 4d cinema, and they are so generous giving you free chocs at every corner! Make sure to go to the shop right at the end otherwise all your chocolate will melt!
Very expensive for what it is... Wouldn't recommend for the cost of entry
Very interesting and educational
Excellent level of customer service from staff
Poor value for money especially walking round a part employ warehouse
Lots to do for the price so good value. Nice cafe and the 4D cinema was fantastic
Enjoyed the experience but feel as if some of the areas need sprucing up.
Great day with my family, quite busy considering the snow we had. Great day for young children as well and all the staff were very helpful and friendly.
A lot of fun and very kid friendly
Who doesn't love free or cheap chocolate?!
The afternoon tea is a bargain also
Sooo much chocolate the grandkids thought it was so magical x
Highly crowded, need to book entry in advance. Nice store.
Very enjoyable experience been before and was just as good again
Lovely place for children and adults ....lots to do as well and activities are well spread...Freddo's disco was the best
Good hour out that's about it. Poor excuse for a "CADBURYS" store. You get more selection at asda. Not going again.......
Cadbury world from a wheelchair accessible view (electric) parking is very good as is the ability to have a free carer go along, the sight is very accessible and I managed around the whole site ok, a couple of right spots where the dividing posts needed moving but no big deal, I even managed to get my electric wheelchair on the ride in a very dignified and unfussy manner, no drama involved just got on with it, which is exactly what is needed so thanks guys, I was able to do nearly everything everyone else can except where they have moving bench seats as I wouldn't have been stable if I tried to sit on them, but not an issue, the whole experience was very positive and I even managed to transfer to a chair in the 4D cinema to get the whole experience,
The only tiny issue and was only because it was raining I wheeled along towards the cinema when leaving the main building and either there were no signs or I missed them so not to noticeable saying wheelchairs could get round. So had to come back and go down the ramp, again this was no big deal but maybe better placed/slightly bigger or brighter signs pointing to ramp access and informing that wheelchairs couldn't get through
Again I could have missed them as it was raining and just trying to get to cinema part as fast as possible and it could have been that I missed them .5 out of 5 for experience I enjoyed all of it.
Great experience and interesting stories and journey though. The interactive elements are great, and it s fun for adults and children alike. Be prepared for lots of opportunities for Cadbury s to try and sell you photos, commemorative chocolates, trinkets...
Nice place to take the children. Lots to do and see
Nice place to spend 3 hours with children. Get a few free bars of chocolate along the way and you get a pass to go to the staff store where you can make your ticket cost back in very cheap candy
It's OK but not as good as 10 years ago , shop really disappointing, not much you can't find in shops , non of all the stuff found on their website , too many people allowed in at once
Lots and lots of chocolate. Great experience. Well worth it.
Had an amazing day with the family will definitely be going again sometime soon
Don't waste your time and money here it's just over hyped boring place. Will never ever come back.
On the whole, very enjoyable.
Predictably commercial and quite expensive.
The buildings are not modern, but the experience is amazing.
Very informative, too.
It's a good day out with your children so much to do and see.
The tour is OK it's not how I remember it when I was young.
But the children today will love it.
I'm giving it 3 star as it was me and the misses no children lol, we only went to see what's it like and to see if it was how we remembered.
The car park is large.
Staff are friendly.
Its lovely and clean.
Chocolate in the shop is a reasonable price just the pens and teddy's expensive.
Around the back of the building is the 4d cinema. Along with a large playing area for the children.
While on the tour there are different things for the children to do and learn
Son (17) daughter (15) was bored to tears. Last time we visited CW was about 10+ years ago and nothing had changed. Need to make it more interesting
I went swimming. Didn't visit cadbury world. Its reet good though.
Really great family day out, loads of things to do! Would definitely go back!
great day out. very accomadating for our friend in a wheel chair and our buggy. my son loved the 4d cinema with all the bubbles
Paradise for chocolate lovers. Freebies given out at the start and at various places in the tour.
Shop prices not bad compared to high street shops.
Very good fun for all ages.
Chocolate heaven with plenty of samples.
4d experience surprisingly exciting.
Good family day out, you get hand outs bars of chocolate in a goody bag. Nice food in the dining area.
We had lovely day. Wheelchair access was very good and the staff help us a lot. Thank you
Better than I expected. Really enjoyable day out some points quite boring in the middle of your (John Cadbury videos took quite some time). Entertainment Jack & beanstalk show was so funny absolutely hilarious I would go back again just to watch that! 4d cinema really good infact one of the best I've seen with moving individual chairs. All in all a very good day out but perhaps a bit more interaction fun stuff needed in the middle especially for little children.
We took our son and his friend here for a day trip, they thoroughly enjoyed them selves.
All of the staff were very friendly/ helpful.
The tour was very informative and the 4D experience was really good.
Well worth the day trip!
The day was amazing the kids enjoyed it and loved the 4d cinema experience. .. so did I and the free chocolate everyone loves freebies, the navigation of the place was easy once you got use to it and some of the ques we're bad waiting for 40 mins with 2 kids excited isn't very good when nothing will keep them entertained but overall experience was really good and a lot of knowledge gained from another trip
Good, but an expensive day for a family. You can no longer see into the actual factory like before, just the decorating room.
Perfect day out with family. My wife's little siblings loved it and we also enjoyed the different activities. We also had a load of chocolate in the beginning which helped sweeten our experience.
Expensive. Less free chocolate given out. Long queues. Feet ached at the end of the day. Expected to see how it was made etc. But no tour of actual factory.
Enjoyable experience as a whole.
Fun & informative.
Little disappointed with restaurant, staff not engaging, food was good except I was given stone cold baked beans.
Not actually a lot to do when you are there. It's good if you are happy to know the kids have a decent outdoor play area. If you want to see a working chocolate factory, overflowing with chocolate and see the full process then that's not what this is.
Ideal day or for families and groups. Prices are fair and Cadbury do their best to offer a great experience. Could do with another restaurant and toilet but overall a great day out with lots of goodies in the Cadbury World shop
This was a good site to visit. Lots to read and see about the history of cadbury and Bournville. Plenty to entertain children, from 13 downwards. Then a short walk to the village of Bournville. A card/flower shop had plenty of stock. Lovely looking houses with character.
Not as good as in the old days but still a great place to go
I got to Cadbury at about 2pm an a Friday a was charged full price only to find that it closed an hour later! My son was only about four years old at the time so he didn't really mind.. BUT I DID! so we never had time to see all the attractions. This did happen about six years ago ( 2012 ish ) so it may be different now, however the fact that the staff did not point out this fact at the time was very disappointing.
Great family day out. We started with a walk around some of Bournville village, the continued around the outside of the factory. The smell of the chocolate was amazing.
The tour was good, you can have a go at chocolate tempering and chocolate writing. We didn t go on the ride a big queue which we realised was due to an alarm in the other building so we had to wait until everything was sorted.
We spent plenty in the shop at the end...
Overall a very good day out.
Second time visit as my daughter was much younger the first time.
The 4D show and the tour was brilliant would go back there again and again loved it
You are entertained from as soon as you arrive, and full on chocolate by the end of the first interactive tour.
Lovely local day out for families. The santa show and pantomime were good. The free chocolate is a bonus
I have sweet tooth. Why wouldn't I love it! There are some areas where you have to wait ages such as cadabra and 4d cinema especially during busy periods. Which is understandable but maybe they should use that opportunity to give extra chocies as some parents had kids who were not able to wait and were so irritated and upset. Unfortunately this year they had the packaging section covered up where you can see the chocolate being packaged. No mention why! Overall lovely experience. I would go again.
Great day out with chocolate history tour and not to forget lots of chocolates
I loved it you got yo try free chocolate and go down to the cinema
Cadbury and other delicious chocolates are found here.
Fun for an hour . Far too expensive not enough free choc . Nice history lesson though.
