Please save your time and money and don t go to this place. There is a forced 20% gratuity to the bill whether you get a single drink or feast up. I d be okay with that if the service was decent, but forcing a gratuity made the servers care less and it was very evident. I booked a table for 2 (myself and husband) and parking situation was a total mess, so he drove far away to park while I waited inside. When he came back 40 minutes later, the guards won t let him in saying reservation wasn t in his name and I need to physically walk out (decent walking distance btw) to fetch him. He was on the phone with me and I said I ll speak to the guard, but guard refused and made ZERO effort to check reservations guest or anything of that sort. Oh and there was a movie night (speakers BLASTING) so no chance of having a conversation with your friends/ partner. Please just go anywhere else but here. We left after one drink and went to Lavelle instead, had a blast there.

Love the cool colorful ambiance of the out door patio. The service was great and so was the food. Went there for a friends birthday- Covid time and all the protocols were being meet and again the staff really took care of our needs as it was super cold that day and brought the heating lamp closer.
Charged my friend 400$ for a 250$ bottle of Henny. We paid for the other bottles with cash and it came to 310$ each which is fair when u include tax and tipe but charged us 400$ for the one we paid with card, even on your site it says 250$ for a bottle of hennesey Beware this place commits creditcard fraud.
My experience with my friends were good. If you're looking to make new friends or hookups than this is not the place! The crowd that comes here tends to be a little pretentious and not at all friendly or accepting. The staff were attentive and the server checked with us on a regular basis, despite the fact that it was crowded. This is the type of place you bring your own group of friends and girlfriends. I'll definitely come back a few more times over the summer!
Security staff are extremely rude just off the bat for trying to bring in a towel to a POOL for the reason that they have towels inside... i couldnt find these towels anywhere, only saw the towel return booth pushing us and yelling at you to move. We caused no problems, and werent told to stop doing anything they were just rude and pushy for no reason. The bar tending staff were good. But the Cabana 'POOL' bar, makes you buy a premium bracelet to enter the pool area. Very dissapointing to go to a pool bar and not even be allowed to go into the pool without paying even more money.
Loved the service and place. Go on a Thursday before 3pm, no cover and no charge for pool access. Drinks are on the pricier side, as expected, between $8.50-$10 for a can of beer or cider. Food menu is standard price, but as it is a pool bar do not expect gourmet dishes. The bartender was kind, and was not snobby when we later asked for cups of water.
The reason why are two stars cuz you can't sit on any table without ordering bottle service. We were so hungry yesterday we want to sit and eat something but the server didn't let us, even me and my friends decided to order bucket of Corona so we can sit and relax, at back wall booths after dancing but serve said when you order bucket of Corona u can sit only in the meddle tables (wood chairs) is not even comfortable. I hope you guys can work on it and just make tables for people can eat when they are hungry........... Other than that everything was good stuff were so good, friendly and helpful....
Just returned from the reservations we made for our anniversary.
Had to wait 30 minutes before we even got offered drinks. Ordered 2 appetizers and 2 mains, everything came out at the same time, our mains were cold by the time we got to them. Never asked if we would like another drink or a refill, never checked up on us.
Aside from the bad service, the food honestly sucks for the prices. If it wasn t for the mandatory 20% gratuity (which they fail to mention until you pay), I wouldn t have left any tip because it wasn t deserved. Just a very low care value from the staff. Extremely disappointed, won t be coming back.
I'll tell you why I loved this place. The view is incredible, the atmosphere is great and the food is just out of this world. The drinks are also spectacular. It is honestly well worth the price. I highly recommend trying the grilled shrimp and empanadas but honestly everything was delicious. I will definitely be going again.
Not too bad, what can i say about the Cabana Pool Bar, located in the heart of downtown Toronto, close to the lakeshore. The place i was fortunate enough to come to the opening a few years back, it was much nicer then my recent trip. Though the staff looks very attractive but some may come of a bit rude, I would not mind having a party there in the future with the live DJ is pretty nice.
Great Sunday fun! Be prepared for a young crowd of very trendy people (dress code applies, check before you go... Google images). Great music, decent drink selection but be ready to stand if you aren't getting bottle service

The layout is great, the sound system is A+. Most of the staff are great as well. The pricing is ridiculous. Very over priced and upcharges for eveything. 20 per person to go into the pool. The furniture and umbrellas are filthy and worn down. All in all a little underwhelming especially for the price of bottle service
The venue and atmosphere is amazing! But service...oh my god...it took forever for the food to come and we got our drinks after 45 minutes of being seated on the table. After an hour, water was served, with just a jug and no glasses. Food was served with no plates. They lacked coordination between their serving staff and kitchen. At the end of it, we had to get up and go to the bar to place our orders. The tacos were cold and very average tasting. All in all - will not come back.
An amazing experience with incredible service! The waitress Megan was so accommodating and set the atmosphere to be a fantastic night! I highly recommend if you want a memorable evening with great music, food and service.
We needed an extra umbrella for our table because of the sun. But the servers just walked around and payed no attention to our situations. They even put the umbrella away.
Great place to relax and have a good time. Come prepared to spend money, though. It's priced like a club, not a bar, so a bottle of Johnnie Black could set you back 500 dollars. Otherwise, it's a great environment, gorgeous view, and plenty of shade and a cool pool for the sunny summer days.
There is no experience in North America quite like Cabana Pool Bar on a Sunday. This venue makes Toronto a tourism spot for the visitors looking for an alternative to NYC, Miami or Vegas.
Had a good experience, views and venue are nice. Speakers are not bad and people were ok considering all the negative news we heard about Cabana. Overpriced drinks as you would expect in Toronto. Ridiculous that they would charge extra for pool access that smells of piss and dirty chlorine
I have to admit that if you are looking for a large patio that is clean and safe during the pandemic Cabana is the way to go.Great ambiance, good drinks and its by the water! The food is good but nothing special. I would return because so far its the only place ive felt at ease while having dinner and drinks, you can actually enjoy yourself !
I went there for Tiesto Event and the place is cool. Will try again. But I guess the sound system needs to be improved. specially for Big event such as that I went where there is a huge crowd.
Great atmosphere. Amazing view. A great place to go when there is a good event taking place. The drinks are very overpriced and each bartender tells you a different price.
The venue looks great and has a nice setup. The service on the other hand by the bartenders was horrible!!! 2 different bartenders on 2 separate occasions literally would just ignore me and my friend when we were there trying order drinks. We were there trying to get their attention while they'd look past us and service a person because us multiples times.
My friend was there a told the bartender she wanted a water.... over 20 minutes to get a bottle of water decided to call to their manager then she suddenly changed her tone and wanted to service her.
Also as stated before other by others the pour size is very small. They have the automated perfect ounce metering tools but still cut the count short.
I ordered rum and and ginger and vodka and they drinks tasted like water.... The whole thing was very watery from the first sip and had a weird taste. So
The 1nd time I ordered rum and coke. My beverage came back look like it was ginger ale and didn't have a hint of a cola taste, or rum What it tasted like to myself and 2 others that tried it like a mix of tonic water a little cola for colour and no alcohol.
This is especially bad when you're paying over $10 for a drink that is using 20 someslthing bottle of liquor not even able to get a full pour for 1oz of alcohol..
Not a fan of this at all. It was a way better experience last year and I'm not sure I'd go back with how bad and rude the service was along with the very small pours!!!!

I went to Cabana with a bunch of my friends on July 20, 2019. I was super excited to go because I have heard nothing but nice feedback. The vibe was nice and I was really enjoying myself for the first 30 minutes, until at around 4:30 when one I got into a bad altercation with the one of the bottle boys (tall lightskin guy with a fade/curls). I was walking with my friends when he stormed into us, causing my friend to spill her drink all over my WHITE clothes. He never apologized, never offered to get my friend a new drink, or dry me off. I asked him to get me paper towels, and he said "no thats not happening" and WALKED AWAY. When i went to the bar I asked a blonde bartender to help me find management - she didnt. She never helped me get reimbursed nor gave my friend a new drink. We were all shocked and furious as to how horrible this service was. So disappointed. Oh, and for the record - I was not drunk (nor were my friends). Where is the corporate manager of this place?

Delicious food, amazing drinks, great service, lovely vibes and of course a breathtaking view to enjoy your time. Highly recommend before the season is over, they have done a great job with ensuring COVID-19 regulations are in place to keep their customers feeling safe and comfortable.
I bought a wristband for 2 days of admission to this place a Sunday and a Saturday for the following week. Sunday got cancelled because of weather they wouldn't give me back my money because it was for two days and so they said I can attend both Saturday and Sunday following week.
Attented Saturday and got it which was a mistake horrible crowd since this place is only for rich jerks. No tables No chairs unless you're willing to spend over $1000 for reservations. I was surprised they didn't have a cap for the amount of oxygen you can inhale! Anyways right in the middle of crowd saw drunk jerks walking around and I witnessed a case of sexual harrassment and and although no one reported to security none of staff even bothered to take action.
When I was taking the wrist band off of the card I noticed it was written small where the band is glued to the card so theres no way you can notice it unless you take it off: attend before 3 pm so since there's nothing about it on the card I didnt care. On Saturday I happened to be there a little past 3 (3:05) Stayed in line for 10 mins and got in. But next day I got there exactly 3:20 so the bouncer didn't let me in and asked for me to pay full admission ($20) which was lower than what i originally paid for the event.
Customer service sucks, staff have no clue about customer service or security and I ended up overpaying because the original event that got cancelled was more expensive. Overall i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone even if it's FREE admission.
Unfortunately our experience of Cabana was extremely disappointing. Myself and 5 others came on Aug 11. Our first encounter was with the parking attendant who we felt gave us attitude when we asked a simple question about the parking.
We then walked to the patio and was greeted. The man asked us for ID and said "if you will be drinking you must present ID". 2 people in the group do not drink, so they did not show their ID. He then asked "you don't have ID so that is why you're not drinking?" And that annoyed us because they just simply don't drink alcohol.
We were then seated at a table which we did not like because we were not able to see each other properly and my preferences were clearly not followed (I stated preferences when I booked the reservation.)
I asked the waitress if we can be moved to another table and I was told I must speak to the hostess which I did. We were eventually moved to another table.
We got our food and it was okay, nothing special. The manager came over and apologized for the confusion. She said "the man at the front has the worst job in the house" or something along those lines.
The waitress came back and told us the manager is offering one free alcohol drink. I accepted but the others in the group who originally wanted a drink; did not order because we felt very disappointed the whole time.
We paid and left . We were able to take pictures and the view of the skyline was very nice. In conclusion we will not be returning. We had high hopes for this place and it was not what we expected.
Honestly it's a great place but the security should stop problems rather then create it. Last week every single security guard was out of line. One bouncer thinks he's fighting in the octagon UFC starts giving this guy a sucker punch then attacks him but never threw him out the club himself. You got a little water on yourself because his buddy was in a headlock by another security guard lol you guys are all a joke ! Security is only strong because you are out numbered. Your a security guard you should be watching the washrooms not pretending your a police officer , you can escort the individual out but throwing hooks to him , cheap shots and then punching him 5 times ! Get real that bouncer should be ashamed of himself and cabana should be embarrassed for hiring a tool this this well known organization ! The guy has no people skill , he can't talk he can't handle pressure because that's all he's going to be a hot head /brain dead individual. Learn how to deal with situations like this for next time ,ohhhh I forgot you lost your security License so there won't be a next time. Think before you act it's 2017
Went there during prism festival. Super fun, great atmosphere. Washroom was super clean and lady there was nice. Songs were not the best. Will go again!
A couple of my friends wanted to meet up and enjoy a nice patio on a Monday. We decided to give Cabana pool bad a go since we had been to it when it was a club and what a good decision it was. I was a bit skeptic because when it was a club I had terrible experiences with the big tall white security guys and glad you switched them up. I did not know what to expect but to my surprise right from the start we met some of the super helpful security guys Nick & Ryan who filled us in on what the vibes were like, even gave some great recommendations on what to try and the best spots to see the city and even the basic insta shot. We had beautiful excellent server Jenn who made sure the sangrias kept coming. This new patio setup is definitely the best I ve see in Toronto, there a pool if you want and even being there for a while we didn t even realize they had been playing a movie on a drive in screen for the families.
This is definitely a 4.5 star experience the food was great, good portions and reasonable price, the ambiance and service was just right and the views spectacular. I strongly recommend that if your looking for a Miami or LA waterfront patio this is the spot !!!
Nice ambience to the place. It doesn't feel like you're outdoor since you're basically in an indoor tent facility. Our server was super friendly but the food was just decent, like $30 fish and chips? Lol. For the price of the food and drinks I guess you're paying for the ambience and the hit they are taking due to COVID.

CLEAN THE CABANA UMBRELLAS OUT OF SPIDERS BEFORE YOU OPEN AND SEAT PEOPLE THERE!!!! There are sooooooooooooo many spiders in the Cabana Umbrellas!!! ALL the extras that were in the Arachnophobia Movie moved to Cabana Umbrellas to retire. It's not a good look at all. FIX UP! The food and drinks are way to overpriced for this type of atmosphere. And after swiping the spiders out over our food, they don't want to comp the food. RIDICULOUS.
Food was good, music was awesome and server was great. Charles you need to do something about Kirstie Roberston. She will be the one person why your business will not grow. I am sorry to say but even if we both had a misunderstanding about the venue booking and I take full responsibility for not understanding the floor plan, she should not be addressing people as a LEECH!!!!! LOL what a joke. This is my first and also last at cabana. What a shame to create such an image for yourself.
The atmosphere was great but the woman working in the Tuck Shop was incredibly rude. The lockers take $2 coins and we put our coin in and it didn't work and she gave us so much attitude because we asked for our $2 back. Then the next time I came in to get something from the locker she made a snarky comment. Really unprofessional and I didn't appreciate the unnecessary attitude. Other than that the service from the bartenders and the other staff was great. They were very friendly but the one negative and rude employee really put a damper on our day.
Pool is great and the venue is nice but don't bother if it's a big name artist unless you are super into them. You will never get a good spot on a lounger unless you get a booth, show up at noon or pay off security. Our experience: My husband and I made sure to get there early and took one of the 2 extra seats somebody was trying to save for their buddies (after asking if the seat was taken by anyone actually at the venue she said they weren't going to show up for another 2 hours, even though the place was packed with people). I didnt really give it a second thought as i figured it was first come first served and the girl seems resigned to it. When the guy finally showed up at 3:30 I didn't move, so they started cussing at me and getting all agressive. I still didnt budge, so they paid the security guard and suddenly I had to move. They weren't going to kick me out, they said I didn't do Nothing wrong, I just had to move. So money talks I guess. Horrible experience. Drinks were good.
So far so good, it's been a real love hate relationship with this club. But overall recommend this club as being one of the best pool bars in the city. 2016 they had great talent and Dj's show up every weekend. 2017 things shifted and I couldn't find a show I wanted to attend. 2018 two huge headliners give me hope for the summer season.
Pro tip: show up before 2pm on any event to beat the lineup. You can also park for free near the dance studio just pay attention to the signs
One of my favourite spots to hang out and have a fun time with some friends. Last summer was the first summer not being at Cabana pool bar due to covid 19 :( I am hoping to make a visit this year. Always a fun time. Great performances (Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Loud Luxury, to name a few), and always nice to bump into some familiar faces there!
VERY DISAPPOINTING went all the way to the restaurant but the security at the door told us it is a 19 restaurant and we have one friend who is under but he can't let us in just because "you have to have a parent with you". We were never informed from our reservation or their website. Worst experience.
I am extremely upset and disappointed about my experience at Cabana. I went there for the first time for the Snoopadelic event on Saturday, July 13. Going there was a complete waste of my money and time.
Firstly, even though I got on the online guest list and was just 5 minutes after the cut-off time of 3 pm due to the humongous line-up, I still had to pay $25. The bouncers are so strict. They had attitude and didn t give me a good first impression of the place.
Not only that but Snoop Dog didn t even come out (not that I am a fan of him but no public announcement was made about him not performing how professional is that?!).
What I first noticed about the place was the super loud music and the snooty looking guests who were trying to show off how they looked and who they were with. I couldn t even talk as it was so loud there.
The only good thing that happened there was that this kind bartender asked if I was ok, probably because he noticed how I clearly looked upset. When I said I was not ok, he asked what I needed. I replied water and that he gave me. At least there s one kind soul there.
Also, it rained for a good two hours that day. Just my luck! I was waiting near the lockers with the awning for a good 30 minutes to wait for the pouring rain to stop. My shoes and feet were drenched due to the flooding on the entire ground.
There are no places to sit unless you have one of the tents. And don t let the posh and heavily edited promotional photos and videos fool you. It s not as nice as what they want you to think.
I was miserable the entire time I was there and it really dampened my spirit for the rest of the day. I will not be back.
I tried emailing Cabana to get my $25 back but couldn t. In summary, if you like loud obnoxious hip hop music blaring in your ears with an equally obnoxious bougie and pretentious crowd to keep you company , you should check out Cabana. For someone who likes authentic connection, you are better off elsewhere or staying at home (at least you can conserve your energy, time, and $$).
Went there yesterday for my first time was very happy overall good place to lay back enjoy a few drinks meet some people, I got no idea why there are so many negative reviews I was with 6 people and had 0 issues. And security was actually pretty good.
The most expensive KFC chicken in Canada. Shrimps were chewy, rather have lobster tail with some kind of garlic sauce. 2 stars are for hot sticky toffee cake. And wine. Environment is nice, but does not worth the money. I would not recommend it as a food, but the atmosphere seems to be not bad, like a disco ... luxury style, but not crawling.
The ambiance was excellent. Went on a Tuesday movie night. The food was not the greatest especially for the price you are paying. Costed north of 450$ just amongst 4 people. And was not even full, bare minimum service, maybe that was due to COVID. I guess the 20% COVID gratuity is already added to the bill, but would be nice to have decent food and quantities. Would not recommend going there for food.
Great music and atmosphere. No long line waiting to get in. Drink prices are very reasonable and you get served quickly. Food looked delicious but I didn't actually eat anything. Great views for pictures as well. Super clean bathrooms!
The place looks nice, didn't try the pool, music wasn't very good, I didn't get the best vibes from the crowd so I'd say it's better to go with a group of friends, drinks are overpriced obviously and they technically do have table service but even if you're buying bottles it's suuuper slow so it's better to just go to the bar yourself, even though it looks upscale you still get your drinks in plastic cups, I think a bottle of rum came to 270, it was an 'alright' time but I can't think of anything that would bring me back there
