Super easy walk (1h00) with a very beautiful point of view at the top.
Super easy walk (1h00) with a very beautiful point of view at the top.
Always so charming this Bastille and its multiple path
Nice place with a great view. It will be better if you search information and the history beforehand. There is also an adventurous game tour in the castle.
Beautiful view of the city, very nice to go see the fire on July 14th.
For hikers, you can continue on Mount Jalla and Mount Rachais :)
Great view of the city. Accessible by cable car or stairs. Many activities above, from museum to climbing park. Currently closed due to Corona.
Very accessible (whether on foot, by car or in bubble) it offers a superb view of the Grenoble valley.
You can also access trails a little more sporty but with an even better view.
High view of the city, you can go up by car without having to spend the 8-9 of the trip per person of the cable car
Obviously a place to visit! A magical place where I spent all my childhood. Since the place has been well modernized and has been organized for visitors. A breathtaking view of everything Grenoble not to be missed!
Places with a magnificent view of Grenoble and the mountains
Nice view, but you can't visit the Bastille itself.
Great view but not practical with a stroller to get off
Just an incredible place. It was winter (which I do not advise). Lots of positive emotions!
Must see place with a magnificent view of Grenoble and the surrounding cities
Magnificent view over Grenoble. A nice walk on the WE. Well-appointed place with activities (via Ferrara, speleologist, ...) for young people
One of the sites has even on Grenoble in family, sports, winter as summer. Former military fort 264 meters above the city of Grenoble. Built during the first part of the 19th century and culminating at an altitude of 476 meters. Several possibilities of access either by road "but avoided" because not great. The "paying" cable car, or the most common one, with a good starting point. Arriving at the top, we have a superb view of Grenoble and its surrounding mountains. Some activities are to be done up there, two restaurants, souvenir shop, public toilet, military museum "mountain troops".
It is absolutely necessary to go there. An extraordinary point of view on the city and the surrounding mountains.
A magnificent view of Grenoble, its surroundings and the mountain. If mounted on foot allow 40min. The best thing is to start the climb at the beginning of the evening, so that we arrive at the top with the sunset. The illuminated view of Grenoble at night is clearly worth a visit
You can visit by foot, by bicycle or by car. But I would like you to get on the Grenoble specialty teleferic. The round gondola, whose feet are transparent, has an indescribable pleasure. A superb view awaits at the top. Really Greboble is a nice city.
If playing sports while walking, why not go to the Bastille, it's not too tiring to eat and also friends is super nice, the view is beautiful and you recommend that you think to go down on foot too in a good, cheap day
We visited on a very hot day in August, we rode the cable car up and walked back down one of the many paths back to Grenoble. Views are amazing. Facilities are good, toilets, 2 restaurants and a snack bar. We ate lunch at the snack bar, which had a good selection at reasonable prices. There was also a high wire assault course (like Go Ape) and numerous walks from the top. Amazing views. Worth walking down as you discover more of the Bastille on the way.
Beautiful. Not just Bastille, but also the towns of the city of Grenoble. I did not believe he knew who the French were. It's a wonderful people. Thank you for your hospitality.
A great place. Beautiful, informative, interesting.
Incredible view of Grenoble, it's a shame to go to this city without observing it from here.
Outstanding view far beyond Grenoble. Nice hiking trails.
Fantastic view of the three valleys that convert to Grenoble.
Very nice snack site and pleasant brasserie bar! In bubbles as on foot it's great!
When you come up, you can see the entire city of Grenoble!
a fantastic view!
you should definitely go there!
Beautiful point of view on Grenoble and the surrounding mountains. My last visit was at night with overcast weather and a bitter wind but we can not remain indifferent to this grandiose landscape.
A must-see walk in Grenoble, the "climb" to the Bastille is peaceful, it's not a mountain, even if our Belgian friends must find this impressive, they come from the "flat country"! Arriving at the top you will find a magnificent panorama, a pretty grandiose view of Grenoble and the surrounding area, and you will be able to contemplate the incredible course of the liberation, the longest avenue of France, which has become and fortunately greener thanks in part to the tramway. Children from 6/7 years old can accompany their parents for this very invigorating climbing exercise! Be careful because, with a road on the other side, and the famous "eggs" of the cable car, there are sometimes a lot of people at the top! And in the trails too!
Very nice place with good walks to continue and a great view of Grenoble
Well exploited historical place. Meeting point for ballroom dancers, the atmosphere is very welcoming and very friendly
Great view and extensive climbing garden. The cable car is cheap and spares the long walk.
after a nice visit a good restaurant a good welcome to repeat without hesitation in the end I recommend the mouth to go to restore
Great walk. Good facilities.
I enjoyed the vertical KM
A must in Grenoble life! In good weather, it's absolutely magnificent! To do absolutely!
Extremely beautiful place, extremely fantastic seesight and several panoramic view on Grenoble and surrounding Mountains. On top of the bastille also a acrobastille activity very funny for long zip line, climbing and spleological experience More
Admirable viewpoint over the city, accessible on foot by footpaths or by cable car from the quays. The mountains as a backdrop make the Panorama grand. Belledonne Chargeuse and Vercors are the three massifs that surround us.
The view of the city is breathtaking. It puts Grenoble in perspective and is a good opportunity to get to know the city from afar before exploring it.
I'd recommend going up with the telepheric and going down on foot, because there are many other highlights down the road.
One the famous tourist place with well maintained. We had dinners in here.
Super site good part of laughing with the stopover only flaws bad welcome to the restaurant teleferic
Magnificent panorama. Several places to eat nearby and leisure activities. We took some great pictures. I recommend.
A magnificent on Grenoble and its surroundings. We did the climb with the bubbles and went down the Bastille via the park.
Fabulous views, great to see the old fortress above and below. Take the steps down unless you have hiking boots to handle the sharp rocks on the trail
Inescapable place of visit of Grenoble with a panorama to 360. Too bad that the mountain around is not more neat as well as the ruins which make warts.
Must visit before you leave grenoble. Excellent view of the city and the valley. Excellent walk from the city until the bastille. Prefer to climb instead of taking the teleferic. There are two routes. The stairs and a easy path. I prefer the stairs because it is quicker.
A great spot to look at the Grenoble city from above. There is discount for telepherique/ funiculaire for student (need to show student ID). Can see the surrounding mountains include Mont Blanc.
Very beautiful, superb panorama. To see if you go to Grenoble, a place that represents the city for me. I will surely come back.
Great views, despite the weather and we had an excellent meal at the restaurant.,
Very beautiful~ just a little tired to climb the mountain~
The scenery seen in the cable car is also super beautiful
Definitely worth running or driving up there. With the gondola it takes about 10 minutes and costs 6-8 (depending on whether with student discount or without). Probably around 2 hours on foot.
Fantastic view over Grenoble. Also nice is the trip on the cableway.
