In all honest it is not a place I d recommend. Quick and efficient staff, and once you place an order you get it as fast as you d expect a Pizza *express* to process an order. But once you get the food it was just average. If not a bit too plain... it was okay-ish

Food was great can not fault this at all! Acknowledgement in the building and out was spot on!
More the service provided. Walked in a tried to get shoved onto the smallest table in a corner (right next to stairs that people pass a lot) asked to be moved as there was plenty of other spaces. Then was provided with the incorrect bill which took a while to get replaced.

I visit this unique place often since I love the good mood that is exist in this place. The team is very friendly and well trained. The service is deeply efficient. Most important, the food you get is first-rate. I ate there often and I was always joyful. The pay is reasobable. I suggest this restaurant to all my friends.

Horrendous, we had to change 3 glasses as they were terribly dirty, the service was awful and my pizza arrived stone cold, I sent it back the same pizza came back having obvious been back in the oven and was now burnt and still stone cold. Children's pasta was hard and burnt. Would never return here

Great food. I had the gluten free base La Reine and my boyfriend had a Sloppy Giuseppe. Both pizza came quickly and were tasty. The waiters were attentive and accommodated us when we asked to move to a quieter table. The food and drinks came quickly. Definitely a great find.
My family and I had a very unpleasant experience at the Pizza Express on Borough High Street. The food was appalling; small and precooked pizzas; Hard risotto rice and other frozen ingredients. I hope you improve the quality of your food. A few years ago it was much better!
Your average pizza express. The staff told me over the phone they were full booked for the evening and I wouldn't be able to turn up to get at a table. I turned up at 6.30pm on the Weds and was told to go upstairs as I didn't have a booking.... We were the only people up there on a floor with about 40 empty tables.
Got the roman pizza, thin and less ingredients than regular, but so tasty.

This restaurant is quite large and it's set over 2 floors. The restaurant has 2 entrances, one on London Bridge (although the official address is Borough High Street), the other entrance is below ground on Montague Close (which runs under London Bridge into Tooley Street). If you are approaching from London Bridge on street level, the signage is really poor and not clearly displayed so you could miss it...
You know what you will get, for the location it's good value. Can be busy

Like do many other places, there are just not enough staff. We went early on a Saturday night. The toilets were grim. Service was slow. The pizza express menu doesn't change much but nice with kids who like to know what they're getting. I think pizza express is expensive for what it is. We only really go with vouchers. For the price there are better places.

Delicious pizza at a reasonable price with friendly staff.
1. Staff weren't organised and no leadership was seen. Upon arrival we were asked by 4 different people how many we were, 2, and none acted. Many empty if needing cleaning tables.
2. The food was cold. One pizza was warmish and the other was just cold. We didn't want to complain in worry of what might be done to our food combined with the lateness and hunger.
Won't go back.
Went here for a quick meal on Easter Monday. The main problem was our server (when we actually HAD a server) didn't LISTEN. First, we didn't get one of our starters, then the children's pizza was wrong. Considering all the adults had their food, we wanted a quick solution for this. Simply taking off some ham and adding some cold olives would do. The staff decided to make a brand new pizza, at the expense of 20minutes waiting time for the child while the adults ate around her! Again, not listening...
During our entire meal we were never asked how our meal was, if we wanted more drinks.. Anything! We eventually stacked our own plates and asked for them to be removed. A further 20mintues of waiting before we had to ask for the ice cream from the children's meal.
The manager tried to rectify the solution, offering a free coffee. This could have improved the situation, if only the staff hadn't thrown them on the table in contempt. I was just surprise they knew where the table was, as we hadn't seen anyone for about an hour and a half! All in all, a quick meal ruined, and I wouldn't suggest this restaurant to anyone, especially given the number of food options in London Bridge.
A lovely pizza express with a very nice atmosphere, and friendly waiters/waitresses. You can also usually find offers/deals online for the branch

Manager was abrupt to customers the same like she was to her staff and her staff followed her example. They should call the customers waiters here as the staff purposely ignore you to the point you need to go to the counter to get served. Plus over 12 quid for a lasagne was not justified, small basic lasagne with no sides. Glasses given were too dirty to drink from, even bits of old food stuck to the glasses.
Considered this place for a company do, will now avoid and stronger advised workers in my building a few doors down to boycott this place also. Never known PE staff to be so terrible and blunt before
We Took our children from the nursery for a pizza. We were quickly seated. Waiter helped us to bring high chairs to the table. Order was collected very quickly and smoothly. Our pizzas were delicious and prepared in respect to our food allergies. We would definitely go back.
We entered the place with my husband and our friend this Friday. We were sat at a table and the first thing we ve been told We are not going to serve you any alcohol because we think you are drunk . They did not even bother asking what food we want.
I asked them So you as a business decided that we look drunk and that we are not going to be served properly? and they said yes .
We left the place straight away. None of us were drunk, in fact we did not have any drinks before coming in, and we were just looking to get food anyway. With such disrespect and unprofessionalism, I do not consider this place worth to be at.
I think the team requires better training and clearly this was a ridiculous experience. I would absolutely hate coming to this place ever again. I am glad we left, the staff is miserable there.

The pizza is very good, the staff very friendly and the offer more than adequate. We got a table immediately and the food came very fast! Less good is the price, because a pizza costs just under 15 pounds. The atmosphere is very nice, only the toilets could be much cleaner. Otherwise, you can already make a recommendation.
Good central London location. It is split over two floors with two entrances from different streets so easy to get inside. Food was very nice as expected from Pizza Express.

Surprisingly pleasant place to eat. Tucked away a bit, so not too busy or noisy to eat on a Saturday night. Unfortunately accuracy of our order wasn't great, wrong drink and then wrong pizza, before they ran out of cream for dessert! Staff covered these mistakes up.
Pizza was very tasty and they use very nice ingredients and cheese, the base of the pizza was slightly underdone - you can tell that they don't use a stone for their pizzas, or that their machine's bottom element isn't warm enough. Good overall, worth a visit as far as a chain goes.
They run various offers but essentially the staff works in ammner to ensure you are not able to avail any.
This chained was so crowded on my visit. I had grilled chicken caesar salad, and it was tasteless. The dolcetti was pure sugar, no room for caramel taste. A prime example of the British treatment to Italian cuisine, how could one even ruined salad is beyond me. Not worth coming back there.
