CAB (Centre d'Art Bastille) Review

I may still be shocked. It has a lot of history. But it is very good viewpoint, has good restaurant service etc. Important and pleasant

Must visit for anyone going to Grenoble. The view of the city and the mountains is very beautiful, a must see. You can climb walking, running or the cable car. Upstairs are restaurants, a snack bar, a children's play area with ropes, a very interesting mountain battalion museum and countless hiking trails and paths which, according to information, go to Switzerland. There are also very interesting caves near Bastille. Ride really A MUST SEE.

Breathtaking the place, I came to the occasion of my friend's wedding party and took advantage of this outing.

A place you definitely should visit whilst in Grenoble. It has splendid views over the town and the mountains.

There is also a little tour inside of the fort with the history of the alp mountaineer army ( 3 entry fee). The little tour was fun and you learn quite a bit.

Unfortunately whilst I came (March 2019) the restaurant, big coffee place, and activity ground were all closed. So apart from the tour there isn't much to do up in the Forte.

The walk up the hill is great, and the view is with the walk.

That's wonderful. Venire with the cable car has its charm, with the car it is a small road, steep and bumpy. Very beautiful view. Catering and visit.

Great, magnificent view of Grenoble and possibility of seeing all of Grenoble, it's even more beautiful at night, in addition there are plenty of activities (climbing, tree climbing, etc.) You have the possibility to eat in a restaurant with a view of Grenoble. The price of bubbles to go up to the fort of the bastille is not abused, otherwise you can go up and down by a very nice little path, I strongly recommend this place whether alone or with your family because there is something for everyone tastes !

Great view above. I recommend to walk instead of taking the cable car if you have time. After the work, sitting there enjoying a drink and looking over the city is one of my favorite time during vacation there.

A fortress with a lot of history where you can go for a visit to its museum and to have a good view of the entire city from above.

Unmissable place during a visit to Grenoble, with a little effort we climb to the top on foot, it's a nice walk. Otherwise you can take the cable car to get directly to the fort.

A magnificent view of all Grenoble, you will find on site a cable car, a really warm and delicious restaurant, a snack to eat on the go, the museum of mountain troops to visit absolutely and hitch park. Beyond all this a very nice walk.

Clean and magnificent place to spend your day to hiking or walking. You could enjoy the view fo Grenoble city from the peak of Bastille. Can also ride cable car.

To visit for anyone passing through Grenoble. Access possible by car, on foot or by cable car. The view is just impressive for people who do not know Grenoble (and even the Grenoblois is always contemplated).

Very nice view of Grenoble. We did the cable car climb and the descent on foot. Honestly, once you get there you will not have much to do, except take a drink, have lunch or admire the scenery.

To choose: go up or down with the "eggs" or on foot and we still have the choice of paths! With the beautiful weather it is super nice to walk in the sun and then in the shady parts.

Essential place to visit if you are passing through Grenoble. The rise with the bubbles is great. You can eat upstairs (restaurant) eat ice cream, visit the museum etc ...... for the bravest, you can walk up (path or by the many stairs )
