Went on a Sunday night and waited at the door for five minutes. Place was empty except for a couple of people at the bar. Left after no hostess showed up and the bartender refused to make eye contact.

Ordered a margarita, had to be the smallest serving of one i ever had, tasted terrible and way overpriced. My girfriend ordered a Tito and tonic and very unhappy with it.If you want overpriced drinks that taste bad this is the place for you!And by the way bartenders have no personality either.

Mellow underground bar. It has the speak easy feel and hand crafted cocktails.

This is my favorite bar in Raleigh.

Regular musical performances give this bar a hip feel that you can't find anywhere else on Glenwood.

This is where the grown-ups drink.

This place is super cool. You won't find anywhere like it in Raleigh. When you think 'swanky jazz club', this is basically it. Great craft cocktails, music and atmosphere. They like to keep it so it's not crowded inside, so as long as you get there early enough, you should be in good shape. Great place for a date.

This little gem is worth visiting at least once. My friends and I got pretty tipsy on the drinks (beautifully crafted). However, there is very limited seating. I won't wear my heels here again.

If you have ANY class and you appreciate a great cocktail, please please please do yourself a favor and check out this spot! It's hidden, down some stairs, and kind of hard to find if you're not looking for it, but it's such a great laid-back, dark, and beautiful spot that you MUST check this place out!! It takes to you a time back in history where cocktails were held to a higher standard, and the dark, sultry lighting encourages you to become in touch with your sexy side. Take a date here, someone you really want to impress. It's a nice spot to chat over a truly artistic cocktail, guaranteed to be made the RIGHT way! If you're lucky, maybe you'll be there when they have someone singing some sultry jazz tunes. Definitely a must if you're in Raleigh on Glenwood Avenue, maybe for an after-dinner drink!

This place reminds me of being in New Orleans. With its old school festive feel. It's very quiet and sexy. They serve drinks only. And they have a live band that plays at a certain time of night. There is low lighting, (candles lit on the tables), a private area in the back for larger, yet still intimate groups. I would visit C. GRACE every weekend if I could. For sure.

This is my favorite spot to go to in downtown Raleigh. The servers are sweet and helpful. The atmosphere gives me a prohibition vibe. I feel sophisticated and classy from the very first moment I step foot in the place. The music is always wonderful. I enjoy listening to the local artists, it makes me feel proud to have been born and raised here.

Great

I love this place. The live jazz is always awesome and the drinks are great. I visited here on a Saturday night period of which I had to pay a $5 cover. The fact that there were no seats available for us because the place was so packed irritates me because I paid a cover. If I pay a cover, I should have a seat in the building. I Would recommend trying to get there a little early as to avoid the seating crisis.

C.Grace was incredible for their live music and great tasting cocktails. A wonderful place for settling down to chill for a few hours. Not too busy, not too loud, and comfortable seating. Never change!

Very relaxed, very chill spot! Went with some acquaintances on a Saturday night and we enjoyed the music and atmosphere. They have some unique drinks on the menu. It is a $5 cover to get in, but worth it.

This is my absolute favorite place to go for live jazz. I recommend this place to everyone I know for live jazz. And sometimes you can luck up on some legends there. Like Winton Marsalis brother was there playing one night I went and this wasn't even publicized. It's free during the week and $5 on the weekends.

If you love jazz and/or fancy cocktails and you've not been here yet, you definitely need to check it out!
Dark and cozy atmosphere kinda takes you out of time for a bit.

This is the kind of bar you can bring a book to and spend hours chatting with the bartender. The atmosphere is so calming and the drinks are amazing! I definitely recommend a visit.

Great drinks, great music. We sat at the bar and our bartender Matthew was quick while still being a perfectionist. We watched him send out picture perfect drinks all night. We had a great evening at C. Grace!

Always a cool atmosphere. My favorite musician was playing, which was a pleasant surprise since I didn't look up the entertainment before going. The other patrons were very friendly and accommodating as well considering it's a small venue.

Pros:Nice ambiance ....great artist......Cons:ONLY 1 server who is over worked and rude.....the sound system for the band and vocalist was awful, sounded like I was at a elememtelary school gymnasium.

Live jazz, extremely cozy atmosphere and expertly crafted cocktails, staff at this place really knows what they are doing. Every time we go out downtown Raleigh we end up there at the end of the night

I love this place. Incredible live jazz venue. Small and inherently intimate. They have friendly staff and an the general vibe is pleasantly nostalgic. Some of the best cocktails in the Triangle thanks to the skilled knowledgeable bar-tending.

The absolute best bar experience I've had by a long shot. Get one with egg yolk for a truly unique experience and come early. The place really gets hopping after the love jazz cranks up around 9

It feels like the bartenders really put their heart and soul into making your drinks, lol. The live music is wonderful too. Just wish the space was a little bigger! It can get very crammed very fast

Great artisanal cocktails in a dark, cozy couch- filled venue on Glenwood South. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and will happily share their knowledge about drinks. It's also one of the few venues for live jazz in Raleigh. It's members-only, $1, and some nights there's a modest cover.

I just loved it, since that night it has become my corner of the weekends, live music, the exquisite jazz in the dim light and those wines because all this is mixed and they make C Grace.

Love this place! Good atmosphere! I wish they have more tables to sit! Also, they will need to adjust the volume so we can hear! Speaker system they use bose powered speaker but I barely hear when someone started talking through the mic. Also, piano volume is so low....

The venue has 2 bars and the service is pretty quick. They do not serve any form of food, but the drink prices are very reasonable. We went when there was a jazz act and they were very cool and mellow. This is a good place to hang out, drink with friends, chill out to dope music and enjoy yourself.

Bring a place like this to Myrtle Beach,! I have always been a massive fan of speakeasies and have done some traveling to jazz bars as far away as Chicago, and this place is amazing! The crowd in the back could be a bit more respectful of the musicians (they re quite loud when the lead is speaking to the crowd) but the musicians play their hearts out and the service is great! Three cheers
