I went to see Lucero and Bret Michaels in concert here and I loved it. A lot of parking across the street. Big bars with lots of bartenders. Every where you stand you get a good view! Bathroom stalls need locks though! :/
Since Buster's moved to Manchester, the service has been horrible. The shows are pretty good there and the concerts have entertained well. The pool cue's need replacing desperately and the equipment as well.
If I could rate Buster's at 0 stars, I would. Buster's is the biggest venue in Lexington,Ky, but HAS to be the WORST. The bartenders are nothing short of pricks and the service is horrible, even when you tip them big. This venue has the most potential and ample amount of square footage. But it is sadly the only option in Lexington, Ky for specific acts and certain size crowds. The employees who take tickets and "greet" people at the front door, never cease to be just big of assholes as the RUDE bartenders. Too bad the employees make this venue what it is.
I never write reviews, but I had to for this place. I will never give another dime to them. Filthy, careless, and the bartenders, particularly the super fat guy with the beard behind the front bar, will make offensive slurs to you repeatedly, even after you tip them (generously, but only made that mistake once). For absolutely no reason. Avoid, and tell your friends to avoid as well. It'll just piss you off going there
They cheated me out of my money at a concert when I had already bought the tickets online. I gave them my card to confirm the purchase, and they charged an extra $50 for two tickets that I HAD ALREADY BOUGHT ONLINE. I didn't notice until I checked my bank account the next day. Plus, the place was disgusting and looked like it was about to come crumbling down any second. I will not be back again.
Buster's never fails to disappoint. Rude, understaffed, expensive, the list goes on. I've missed too many good bands because they're playing at Buster's. And that sucks.
This is just about the worst venue i ever had to play in 7 years, and as a concert-goer its equally shameful. From the owners to the bartenders, it was a laughably unprofessional establishment. Honestly, I'm glad to hear its closing its doors. Good riddance!
This place sucks. It's truly unfortunate great acts come to play here. The staff is amongst the most rude and hateful I have ever witnessed. Buster's needs a serious reevaluation, will never return.
