5 stars for a great team. Martin and Paul are coaching my kids. They get the best out of them with a great positive attitude. They love going there. The centre is spotless with everything you need.

It is a brilliant swim and sports center I go there to do my triathlon training (swimming, running and cycling). The coaches are very nice. It has a gym upstairs and if your in the gym and your child is in the pool then u can still watch them while u are in the gym. U can also see your child swim downstairs. Next to the seating area u can grab a drink as it's a mini Starbucks. U can also grab some sweets for your child to have after they have cam out of the pool. There is a ramp so people in a wheelchair can still access the center. There is disable parking spaces aswell. U do have to pay to park in the car park (but it isn't that much). The girls and boys changing rooms are put together and there I enough cubicles for everyone. So if u are a dad and u are taking tour daughter swimming then it won't be embarrassing if u go in with her (as if the changing rooms were separate then u would have to go in the men's changing rooms with your daughter. (it would be the same if u were a mum and u were taking your son swimming but just the other way round. It has 3 toilets and 1 disable toilets it also has multiple baby changing facilities in th changing rooms. In some of the bigger changing rooms it has a special seat for a toddler and a strap so that the toddler won't wonder around or fall out of the seat. It also has 4 showers (that aren't cubicles) and 6 showers (that are cubicles).

We are members, the facilities are good, it's orientated to people who are there to train (though there are fun sessions as well), the changing rooms are tired but functional. The water chemistry is fantastic, it's never too warm (which can drain you if you're doing a long swim). It's also a deep pool one end, rare and useful. The post swim coffee offering is better than you get in some coffee shops (who knew you could make Starbucks palatable :-). The gym is small but has everything you need from fixed appliances to loose weights and mats. There is a gallery where Spin classes take place (I can't comment, I don't spin, but they always look full).

The staff are both knowledgeable & helpful & of course friendly, Mark the owner is hands on and keen. There is a small shop, selling items that you need to train, not tut and novelties. So if you're looking for a small scale specialist sports shops, look here.

The reach of this facility extends beyond it's boundaries. At Burnham on Seas core, it's fit town and at the core of this movement, is the Burnham-on Sea Swim and Sports Academy, supporting swimmers, gymmers, tri-athletes and runners at every level of ability and from the very youngest to the very oldest.

Back to the pool after such a long break due to the virus. It s great to be back. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the preparations for us to return to the pool and gym. Everywhere is fresh and clean, staff are welcoming and helpful. If visitors are sensible and co operate with the health advice it should keep us all safe and give us the chance to enjoy this excellent facility in Burnham on Sea. Special thank you to Tori for aqua fit yesterday and today. I will be there again on Friday. Really hope Emma s Thursday aqua class will be able to start up again soon.

They have quite big parking, friendly staff and a great pool. The staff there are very helpful and friendly. The pool is quite big which means there is lots of room in the deep end and the shallower end. They do lessons most days including the holidays.
