I have been shopping at the LOFT off of Fairview and donating here for a long time and never had a problem until today. I went in and saw an item that I wanted to buy. The staff told me it was being held for someone who was coming in within the hour to pick it up. When I asked when her hour was up so I could come back to get it the volunteer changed her story and said she was going to hold it for her until the end of the day. I said I wanted to leave my name and number so if she didn t show up today I had dibs on it for tomorrow and she refused to do so. I think this is not only unfair but suspicious. Why should one customer get preference and why should they be holding items for anyone when a customer is there and ready to buy? Its not how charities should conduct themselves. I will continue to shop there for the good of the animals but I will never again donate a thing to this shop.
