Wow, this was a lunch time visit and so much more than I expected, with excellent food, perfect service, amazing decor. A truly brilliant experience. Be aware that you cannot even get through the front gate without a confirmed reservation and you may need to book a long time in advance, but most definitely worth it.

Best hotel I've ever stayed at, been a couple of times, nothing is too much trouble, they think of everything, when they saw we had a young child next time we went back to the room it had bottle warmer, baby bottles, baby bath robe and slippers. Will definitely go back

The Talise spa was good, amazing view and great facilities. The staff were friendly too, with the exception of our afternoon tea where we were made to wait for 1 hour after initially being told of a 10 minute wait.

Obviously seen only from the outside, a step that we could not miss a daydream. This structure is something wonderful, the night lights up with immense colors. Anyway, I suggest you also go for a walk and admire its beauty

Considering this hotel claims to be the number one hotel in the world, expectations were high and the hotel fell far short of expectations. The hotel is beautiful, but I have seen others that are comparable. We had breakfast at the Sahn Eddar restaurant and it was not very good. The food was mediocre at best and so was the service. If this was a normal hotel, it would have been ok, but the only reason we came was because they consider themselves to be the best hotel in the world. It is all marketing and this hotel really falls short. I have stayed at lots of hotels with better service and food. To put it in to perspective, they charge 350AED per person or $95 USD per person and standard chain restaurants provide better food for 35AED or $10 USD. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

This beach is so beautiful and very near Burj Al Arab (it's the closest you can get to this hotel if you are not a guest). Don't go in summer or in September, it's too hot... October or November is much better

What a great hotel. The staff is super friendly and if you want the help you if needed.
The entrance of the hotel is great. An impressive ceiling.
The bar at the 27th is great. With an invitation you can reach it directly with an elevator.
They serve the best cocktails in town.
I m looking forward to celebrate my birthday again at the 27th.

For mainland Chinese tourists in Dubai, this hotel is a place of pilgrimage. So you may encounter with group of amateur photographers and middle age female models in hotel lobby and promenade.

Burj al-Arab

Burj al-Arab

Burj al-Arab (Arabic: "Arabian Tower") is a luxury hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is also referred to as the Yelken Hotel.

The hotel, whose construction started in 1994 near the Persian Gulf, opened its doors to its customers on December 1, 1999. The hotel is built on an islet on the seashore, which was previously created by lowering large rock blocks into the sea. The hotel has a reputation for being the world's first 7-star hotel. And in addition to staying at the hotel, daily cultural tours are also organized. Although Burj Al Arab means Arab Tower, it is also called Yelken Hotel because it architecturally resembles a sail floating in the sea.

The outer surface of the hotel is made of large cloth fabrics in order to reduce the existing weight and to ensure the circulation of hot air. With this aspect, different color figures are formed on the outer surface illuminated by floodlights at night.

This experience was out of this world. The whole visit was top class. The venue, scenery, food and service.
The pie was amazing as was the cucumber sandwich (although I could not fault anything)
The big surprise was a birthday cake which they kindly made for me which not only surprised me but my friends also.
Only downside is that I know that no other hotel experience will ever compare. Highly recommend. Treat yourself and stay, you will never ever regret it.
Thankyou for everything Julia !! Our experience was made so special because of you.

Nice hotel. Amazing staff. Most of the restaurants inside are very good. I tried Scape (amazing ) Al Muntaha ( very good) and Nathan ( very good ) and surprisingly very decent prices. Rooms are amazing. I won't talk about pricing...

An experience to visit very security conscious if you are not staying and checks everywhere to stop you going where you are not allowed as a visitor only. Very expensive for normal food but service very good.
