The Highest Tennis Court In The World, On Top Of The Burj Al-Arab.

What you are seeing here is the highest tennis court in the world.
It is built at the top of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, which is the fourth tallest hotel in the world.

The Burj Al-Arab tennis court is more than 650ft high.
It was first a grass helipad but it was converted to a tennis court.

In preparation for the 2005 Dubai Championships, the Burj Al Arab hotel converted its helipad into a tennis court for Roger Federer and Andre Agassi to hit around.

The hotel is located on a man-made island just off the coast of Dubai and derives its sail-like shape from the region's nautical history.

The first time my husband and I came here, we were absolutely blown away! We booked a Rolls Royce to pick us up from the airport but were told it broke down! So they booked us a Mercedes SLK for free, that in itself was lavish! We got to the hotel, greeted by friendly staff with plenty of roses! The room was extravagant and lavish, everything painted in gold! The view of the beach was breathtaking! We got welcome drinks and got introduced to our butler! They catered for all of our needs! Their inroom dining is very very very extensive, they can pretty much cook anything and everything, it s a massive menu! We used that a lot! They also give you gifts from Hermes, perfumes, aftershave, cream and soaps! Each day different gift! Second time we came here we got our Rolls Royce, the driver was very friendly acted as a tour guide telling us the history of Dubai! We got to our hotel, I liked the fact that they said welcome back that was nice! Like everything else in life, second time you get used to everything! The staff treat you very nice! Unfortunately I fell unwell following our travels to China, Japan and Thailand! They got me a paramedic, then they got us a private doctor and nurse who were very nice! The doctor was very calm, I liked that, mind you they were pricy but it s my health and that s priceless! But they took care of me! And the staff at the Burj bought me a get well soon card which was thoughtful! It was a pleasant stay! Absolutely beautiful! If you have the money you have to go there! It s spectacular! Once I get better definitely coming back again! Next time we will be trying the royal suite!

As soon as you enter, you get the feeling of royalty. Lovely fountain. Lift takes you to the top, and the view from the restaurant is mind blowing. Nice sparkling lights of the city, and the view of the sea. Good cocktails to sip on, and dry fruits to munch. What else do you need

The epitome of snobbery. This hotel does everything they can to profit from those with more money than sense.

Only paying guests may enter the gates. As of February 2019, the price of admission is at least $75 per person for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake (Marie Antoinette, anyone?).

You can, of course, pay more -- afternoon tea starts at $250 per person and rooms start at $2000 per night.

Naturally, guests are well-treated -- why insult someone while your hand is in their pocket? -- but at $2000 per night, they had better tuck you in.

It should be noted that the hotel is far from everything in Dubai except its private beach, so plan on staying and shelling out for the in-house restaurants (80AED for a grape and endive platter).

However, if you have to ask how much, this hotel is not for you. If you planned to stroll in and see it, forget it.

If, however, you want to be able to brag that you parted with several thousand dollars for a night or two in a comfy bed, then by all means, this hotel wants your money, and they will do their best to make you feel like it's well spent. Also, I have an investment you might be interested in.

Oh, and by the way, there's no such thing as a 7-star hotel, guys. 5 is as good as it gets.

Very modern design, fully automated rooms, excellent rooms, very neat and clean. The best thing is that it is attched to a big mall, the emporium. So you can enjoy the shopping and a variety of food in the food court of mall. The hotel design is not conventional, it is entirely different. Rooms are spacious and equipped with very latest accessories. The food is also very excellent. The board and meeting rooms are very spacious and equipped. Rates are little bit higher but facilities are good. The staff is not trained and lot of improvement is required in service delivery, the reason may be that they are new in hotel business.the lifts needs to be made more efficient as a lot of time is consumed to wait for the lift arrivals. Great Hotel! Excellent Staff who cannot do enough to make you feel relaxed! Top Staff!. Great hotel fresh look and contemporary look. Love their indoor swimming pool.
Couldn't find the right way to the public beach are, where you can take some nice pics - finally found one on the right side of burj khalifa but photos had to be shot against the sun. Later we read that there must be also a left sided beach area, where you can get closer to the hotel, so my recommendation: read and find a perfect way to a nearby beach area BEFORE you get there, where you can make fantastic photos - maybe a taxi driver can give the right tip.

I have definitely stayed here and I must say it was quite underwhelming, I wasn't allowed to use the toilet in my room so I was forced to go over the balcony and then use the bed sheets as toilet paper. For some reason I was then apprehended and thrown into jail, I was expecting that maybe there would be a surprise after a few minutes but I stayed there for 4 months. Sure I payed nothing, at least not in cash, but I was only allowed to stay for about 2 minutes and then had to pay with 4 months spent in jail. Quite rude of them, 1 star.

It is impossible to fault this hotel as it s exquisite taste of furniture and marvellous rooms make this the most enjoyable place to stay dissimilar to any other. :)

Hotel is fabulous didn't stay there but booked cocktails for an evening, would definitely recommend and would do it again! Views are spectacular at sunset and the hotel is filled with opulence. The cocktail evening gives you the opportunity to experience the hotel without needing to be a guest at the hotel. Cannot get into the hotel without a reservation so book beforehand.

The Burj al-Arab or "Tower of the Arabs" is one of the most luxurious hotels in the world. And 'it situated in Jumeirah Beach, a few kilometers south of the center of Dubai, on an artificial island connected to the mainland by a bridge, is characterized by its unique sail shape and is one of the landmarks. To visit it without them sleep (something not all) you can do with a "Afternoon Tea" at the Skyview at the price of 175, or an even cheaper way to visit the Burj Al Arab is to book the Gold on 27, this one hosted at 27th floor of La Vela the 63 price.
