The distinctive sail-shaped silhouette of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is more than just a stunning hotel, it is a symbol of modern Dubai. Rising on a man-made island, 280 metres from the shores of the renowned Jumeirah beach and designed to resemble the graceful sail of an Arabian dhow, it soars to a height of 321 metres, dominating Dubai s coastline. The all-suite hotel offers 201 luxury duplexes with stunning views of the ocean, private beach access, luxury leisure on a breathtaking terrace with pools and cabanas as well as 9 of the world s best dining and entertainment venues helmed by Michelin-starred chefs.

A 7-star hotel cannot have a bad restaurant like Al Iwan in it ... the buffet is among the worst ever tried I can safely say that the cruise buffet is fantastic in comparison! All for 2 people at the modest sum of 1080 AED at 270.00 by drinking water S. Pellegrino at 15.00 per bottle. Sconsigliatissimo

Imposing for architecture, though it is far from being one of the tallest buildings in Dubai. I was not staying but I took some photos because it was one of the postcards of Dubai. The best photos are from Jumeirah beach.

I have not stayed at the Burj for a few years but as it was our pearl wedding anniversary I decided to book. The hotel pool area had historically let this great hotel down (The original pool was very small) but two years ago they extended the pool area and it now has the wow factor you would expect from the world's best hotel. Staff were very friendly and food quality was excellent throughout all restaurants and bars. Could not fault the hotel and will certainly return again. Important Please Note: They are doing a lot of building work around the Burj on the Jumeriah Beach side. This is ongoing building work until the end of EXPO 2020 so be aware a lot of dust and noise during the day and night. (It did not spoil our experience but it could disrupt your vacation as the building work gets more intense closer to the opening of expo2020

Nestled along the shores of the Persian Gulf, Dubai has grown to become a global center for trade, innovation and luxury. The completion of the Burj Al Arab Hotel forever changed Dubai's skyline, when the hotel, towering more than 1,000 feet in the air, opened in December of 1999 after five years of construction. The architecture of the Burj Al Arab is so innovative that the hotel is often considered one of the most distinctive hotels in the world

Burj Al Arab, is a symbolic hotel of the emirate of Dubai, despite the fact that over time, the city's rapid development has also emanated other architectural highlights. I didn't have the opportunity to live there, but at first glance I was excited about what I saw.

We had afternoon tea in the sky view restaurant/bar. The staff everywhere in the hotel are attentive and friendly, even though security is tight. The food was very good, although very traditional English style with few surprises. Our anniversary was celebrated with us by the staff and they made the day extra special. The scenery from the bar would be breathtaking on a clear day.

Burj al-Arab is certainly one of the places to visit in Dubai.
Both day and night.
It offers a striking view of Dubai, in a science fiction setting.
They make excellent cocktails, certainly not cheap.
To go you must book first through the official website, just send an email and set a time you want to go.
To keep in mind that there is a minimum spending per person of 300AED, c.ca 75/80 euros.
In addition there is a dress code, in no harsh reality, in fact you can not get with T-shirts, but if you forget, they offer you a jacket to enter.
I recommend going late in the afternoon, towards sunset time. TOP
