Bunnings Warehouse Review

Always good, but had hard time finding staff this time.

No staff in the out side garden area to ask for assistance then when someone did come out he seemed annoyed when I asked him a question, then didn't offer to help me lift heavy bags of garden stones onto my trolley even though I am elderly which was disappointing. Inside I waited in a long line as only one staff member was on the check out, the customers in frount of me had full trollys and she was very slow so it took ages. I was surprised that other staff member standing at the self service checked did not assist by opening another till, one young female looked over a few times but continued wandering aimlessly around because self service was not busy. No one called for extra staff to help even though it was obvious that customers were getting frustrated. I love Shopping at Bunnings but have to say it was not a good experience today.

Do not try to call them, they will just put you hold for a very long time.
Always seem to be sold out stock thats on there web site.
Nice people that work there. However they need more training, as they give miss leading information.

Rude and arrogant staff letting down the occasional good one.
Hazards in all areas especially the trade area. There s going to be an accident there soon if nothing changes.

Its bunnings. How good or bad can it really be? Lots of parking, lots of stock, lack of cashiers but they always call staff to registers when it looks busy.

Great choice for battery's and duct tape also good advice in the electrical section.

Large stock standard Bunnings store, with plenty of selections

This is there nearest megastore to where I live. They have everything.

Its a standard large Bunnings but they really need security cameras in the car park. Cars are broken in to "all the time" (said by the service desk).

Great shop, fairly easy to find products and a good range of low price to high end, good service.

Make sure you take some coins on the weekend for a sausage

Good store but the selection isn't very big. They tend to have 1 thing that you need but don't have choices of the item (I.e. multiple things of the same item so that you can choose the brand, style etc.)
Had to buy some bolts and they have a very limited selection and most are in imperial, we are in Australia and use metric for most things, why would you have such a selection of imperial?
Little hard to know where to find stuff also. Have to walk aimlessly up and down aisles to find what you need.
Driving in / out of the stores carpark is a little hard to at peak times, being at a set of busy traffic lights. A lot harder when you have a trailer

Great store with a huge product selection and good prices. The gardening section and the range of plants was particularly good, more than other similar sized Bunnings. It was also quite easy to find staff to ask for help around the aisles.

Love Bunnings Belmont. Most of the time I get really good customer service. And its always fun hunting for the bargain bins lol

Very good hardware shop. The staff are unbelievable 8n that they are respectful, helpful, courteous and plentiful.

Incredibly hot, no seats to rest on. Pity they can't crank up the aircon more

As a handyman I can tell you, not all Bunnings are equal.
The annoying thing about this one is the trade parking area seems to always be blocked off. Really annoying when you need to load heaps of timber or bags of cement..

Can't find anyone to help you in the store. Bad if not sure what you need

One thing I love about Bunnings, is; they let me take my dog shopping & whilst I'm not really, what you'd call a DIY expert, or even a novice, my dog loves meeting the staff whilst I'm looking for something or other.

I'm generally there to look at the plants, but also manage to find household items that I've not been able to locate elsewhere, like; really great window alarms.

Next time your dog wants to go shopping, pop into Bunnings

Not one person was at the Special orders desk. Then I had someone call for some help and the poor kid didn t know where the tiles I wanted were despite computer saying they have heaps. Waste of time fir me and that poor kid. They are so very under staffed.

Website says they have stock but when you get there no stock. Staff unhelpful.

I am finding to be served at Bunnings,seems to be getting worse, the lines are getting long & the self serve ones are hit & miss & yesterday l walked out, only had one item
Im generally pretty patient in waitng in a que , but sorry bunnings just getting frustrated.

Good place to pickup DIY repair and building material.

Ideal shopping stop for all types of hardwares and garden plants. Favourite place for DIYs.

Pushing a heavy trolly around is hard enough, but even more so when staff shove past you and have group conversations in the middle aisle so you can t get past. Made even worse when the staff who can see you don t say anything to their coworkers. The blonde at the counter completely ignored us talking to the door staff instead and acted like serving us was a big chore, looking peeved as she did it. Doesn t look like she should be working there. Used to be a nice place

Well every body knows Bunnings always as bargains! If ur in need of any hardware products it's at Bunnings if u can't find it then ask one of the friendly staff members pretty well most of the time a bunnings Belmont staff members will point u in the right direction and if they can't find then they will ask another bunnings Belmont staff member . Haven't seen a upset person .always smiling face's good hardware experience!

Rude elderly lady working at the entrance. She seems unhappy greeting POC customers (got slapped with a big YUP after saying a very friendly hi while other customers before me were welcomed warmly).Completely ruined my first visit to this place.

The staff at the Belmont Store are fantastic. They are happy to help and seem to have great diversity in their employees - all seem only too happy to help and are usually well versed in the products in their aisles and will try to help or bring another staff member if you are asking after items from a different section. Heaps of parking out the front and I wish the other Bunnings all had the same store layout at this one. They are rarely out of stock in anything I am after and their trade desk is really good to deal with.

Nice staff! They were able to direct me to the exact location I wanted and while there were no attended checkouts, I zipped through the exchange counter in seconds.

A full visit, late on a Saturday afternoon, with purchases - in and out in 10 minutes.
A world record.

Parking is easy and abundent.
Shelves are full.
I highly recommend this store!!!

Nearly every employee I have encountered at bunnings to date should take a leaf out of "BIG BEN'S" (from the toolshop's) book.

This guy is knowledgeable, won't lie or provide inaccurate information if asked a question.

He is able to problem solve disgruntled customers grievances with excellent outcomes for both parties on the fly might I add, while working within "bunnings sales protocol constraints".

Thanks for making my nightmare have a happy ending. I was able to get the work done that night before the contractors arrive the following day and the nail gun worked perfectly great diagnosis of the problems re trigger you where spot on.

I hope u get a raise seeing how you show that you care about doing your job above and beyond what is required and is standard expectation of not all but many of your peers, in my experience at least.

A good place to get hardware and gardening tools. They have a good collection of saplings to choose from. The prices are reasonable.

Top selection as usual. Debacle at checkouts as usual. One register open, big queue. Gradually diminishing staff, now to the point where it's becoming a regular headache. So much effort, advertising, and promotion to get you in the store but make it hard to get out of the store.

Bunnings, hard to beat on selection, service and price.
I have done a few reviews Bunnings stores, and one thing that stands out every time, are the people. I know nothing about Bunnings recruitment policies, but they must put effort in to finding such a diverse staff, no retail drones here, apart from maybe Cannington, but I could be wrong there. Bunnings staff are usually very knowledgeable, and when they don't know, they'll tell you. Always a good visit. I would work at Bunnings, I wouldn't eat, as I would spend every cent there, but I'd be happy

trade yard is under stocked If you are trades person go to Balcatta, they are at least stocked up. this place is only for the home handy man . All the good staff leave, cant blame them, as they are told by management if you dont like doing the job of 2 people there is the door we have plenty on our books waiting to be employed. so the ones that stay. are there just for the wage at the end of the week. and to hell with the public. its a who cares attitude. That is managements fault. your staff are only as good as the management good management good staff
