I love Bully's I love their food have been eating there for decades but my food my juice-filled in my bag first it was a mess so please be careful with to-go containers and thank you

Great food. No mash potatoes with my steak though:( Great service, Very personable and friendly.

Service was good but, for a "sports bar", they had problems finding the 7th game of the NLDS and Sunday night football game. Also no sound for the game. The food was bland and they attempted to charge us $30 for a tequila shot. Ultimately reduced that price but I wouldn't recommend.

This place is one of a kind! I come here for lunch often because I work right down the street. The customer service is awesome! And the food is amazing. If you come for lunch make sure you get seated in Denise' s section she is a doll.

Old school steak house vibes! Really a great dining experience. The food is super affordable and the wine selection is amazing! This is the Chicken Skewer app, so much food. I will visit again!

Wonderful service and their Prime Rib was perfect
Hasn't changed in years

Not sure if it was the day or time but only 3 tables with people and after 10 minutes no waitress came to our table once, just 2 of the 3. When we went to leave they said oh we're sorry she must be really busy with all the tables.... Hrm.... All the tables LOL

I've been coming here since 1980's and this is my favorite by far. Friendly staff, delicious food and good drinks make this a great breakfast, lunch or dinner stop.

Can't go wrong with Bully's it's always great meal and friendly service which is equally as important as the food I think. The portions are very generous. Have enough left over for dinner tonight in fact. Just need to make a potato.

Delightful! Everything was clean & service was fast. Gina wax very polite while also not hovering. There food was well made and uber only downside wss I didn't have enough room to finish everything.

Cozy place, been here a long time. Foods pretty good. Felt kind of bad my wife ordered a filet that had to go back twice and still wasn't right. She never complains. The server was super nice Kayla. She was super busy. So service was Uber slow. But normally pretty fast. If she wasn't so nice I would have been mad.Would I recommend? Not a must eat or see. But if your in the area and hungry or drink it's fine.

Great steak at reasonable prices! Wonderful time and looks like it will become a regular for us.

Food was good had prime rib. Had a baked potato which was baked and re heated. Was not hot.

So being a 50 yr patron of Bully's Del Mar, I come here when I can.
They have an incredible new menu, but they still have all of the old stuff.
Best prime rib around, and the drinks don't suck.
I spent many of hours when I was young in the waiting area of Bully's Del Mar, and I must say I enjoyed the food but not the wait
Show up and have some prime rib, you will not be disappointed.

Amanda was Fabulous and the Food was Outstanding! This time I had the Bully Burger and, it was nothing short of Fantastic , Fries Were Steak Fries and ABSOLUTELY Great! In the past I've had their Streaks, Rib Eyes, Shrimp Cocktail and, In My Opinion, Toy Simply Cannot Beat it, the Atmosphere, Waitresses and, Overall Everything Is Thee Greatest! Whatever you must decide to order, You Can't Go Wrong! Bully's East Is Where It's At! Bravo

I've been here 3 times for the 38oz prime rib challenge. This comes with two sides. I get mashed potatoes. If you finish you get a t shirt I believe after eating 5 the 6th is free. This prime rib is amazing. It melts in your mouth. I get mine rare. The service is very good even on busy game days. I just wish I didn't live so far away or this would be a regular place for me.

Bully's has the best food. Have never been disappointed!

Good food but waited quite a while for the food after ordering. Nothing to go crazy over but much longer wait than anticipated (45 minutes). If I was looking for prime rib I'd come here for sure.

Once upon a time I would have given 5 stars to this place till now.. Kelsey the hostess is a rude young girl who needs training and Derrick the manager who defends her must have a thing for her. Never will be back to this place who doesn t accommodate the disabled.

All was OK, The Enchiladas plate as a Mexican I would not recommend, but Steaks a good and the Calamari as well. Great service

Visited 6/19/20. Excellent filet, and the new short rib dish!!! However, it was a very skimpy wine pour! It was claimed to be a standard 6 ounce pour but looked more like a meager 4. The glass was barely a third full. I ve never understood why restaurants are so skimpy with wine. To me, a standard pour would be more like 8 ounces. I m sure a fine profit is to be made on a bottle of wine even with a decent pour. I actually thought it was coming out of the bartender s pay!? It really was a shame, because it s somewhat spoiled it could ve been a perfect evening. As a suggestion, you might try putting the wine in a smaller glass so It gives the illusion that you re actually giving a good value. You have a fine restaurant with great food and service. Please don t cheap-out like that. By the way, I left the server a nice tip anyway because it wasn t her fault, and I hope she didn t have to split it with the bartenders.

Had a most comical lunch at Bully's East had fish n chips that were fricken awsome. Bartender made a special ol fashion that instantly put hairs on my chest thoroughly enjoy the classic ambiance and watch the Saratoga Downs on the widescreen....

Had so much fun with my husband at happy hour yesterday the staff is extremely nice and the signature cocktails on happy hour are freaking delicious. They don't just have the standard boring cocktails they actually have unique drinks.
New appetizers six drinks and the New York steak was under $100. Very reasonable for SDiego IMHO will be back

First time there, & was extremely pleased with the service, & the food.

Poorly run by people who treat their employees like animals. Very rude management. Food and drinks are of poor quality. My medium rare steak was so overcooked that I couldn't eat it. Denny's serves a better steak.

Food is delicious, hospitality is excellent bartenders are friendly

The service in this place is ridiculous. The place is filled with daytime 60 yr old plus drinkers and value prime ribbers. I sat in the bar area for 20 minutes with no acknowledgement. The hostess, bartender and waitress all looked at me right in face and just let me sit there. Finally I just walked out. I was dressed normal and was completely sober. It was around noon. I've eaten here before with a better experience. Today was awful. Maybe I was 40 years too young to get served? Makes no sense. Not worth the nonsense for mediocre food.

I'd probably never eat here again, but the atmosphere for killing time in Mission Valley is hard to beat.

The happy hour specials are awesome. Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. It has that vibe where it seems like this would be a pretty cool place to be a regular. But, given it's location, driving is a must, so being a regular here would probably be pretty dangerous.

The best prime rib in the city. It is always prepared the way you like it. My husband and I have been going there since it opened. Bully and his great cook , Gordy, started a great restaurant and bar in La Jolla and which expanded to the current one here which continues serving great food.

Food didn't taste all that great. Wouldn't go back that's for sure

There were over 70 people in our party we were there for a family reunion the food was good staff was great they even let us play our own music and dance.

Terrible service. It's usually OK when I go by but after this time.... I'm not sure if we'll ever go back

Didn't like the way the filet mignon was cooked it smelled and looked like a Denny's plate... Cocktails were amazing and Derek is amazing Angela was amazing!...next time we'll order differently but wonderful food thank you so much guys

Excellent prime rib, but I didn't love the "crusted.". Basically a pile of panko. So noisy we couldn't hear people at our table. Excruciatingly slow service. Two hours for dinner, even with a reservation.

Overall, good dinner.

Started with mixed loaf bread basket (white, raisin & pumpernickel). The bread was a little dry, but good. Really liked the raisin part.

Then appetizer came; filet meatballs covered in a brown beef gravy and bacon, served with toasted sliced bread. Meatballs had lots of flavor. Bacon not needed.

Ordered a salad with ranch dressing. It was really tasty. Had just the right amount of croutons (just the way I like it, crunchy).

Top sirloin was ok. Good flavor, but just a bit chewy (lots of stringy tendons); hard to cut. Baked potato was delicious; cooked perfectly.

Dessert was carrot cake. Just two words.......
DEE LISH!!! (moist and not too sweet, frosting was sweet but not overly sweet).

Staff are always very friendly. Great service.

Prices have creeped higher and higher over time. I have been going to Bully's for 30 years - was a favorite for years.

Food quality is still good, but no long seems to be a very good value unfortunately. Cocktails have always been good, standard prices.

So glad a favorite spot didnt fail to covid. Bullys never disappoints.Had oysters to start, 11oz prime rim(perfectly med rare) and on our server Mark's reccomendation the slow braised short ribs..oh boy..knocked it out of the park..good call Mark! If youve never been to Bully's your missing out~

The prime rib and shrimp scampi combo is my all time favorite!!! Made to perfection, every cut of meat melts in your mouth and the shrimp is delicious and fresh. Thank you for existing Bully's East.

The place is a little dark when you walk in. But once you get settled in, it s nice. The server was super friendly. The food was good. It s a nice place to give a try. The sports bar side looks amazing.

Small place! Don't let that fool you, big things come in small packages. The service and food are why we keep coming back. We've had the luck in having our server be Lexi, both times we have visited the past two months. She makes each visit personable, and offers exceptional knowledge of the menu. She always seems to know what I'd like. Food here is like no other, absolutely delicious and flavorful. Bully's East will have you thinking about your next visit before you've even gotten the check. Between the convenient location, absolute extraordinary service, and mouth watering food.. we can't wait until we come back!

Haven't been here in years. Same place, same food, same service. I had a Red Meat craving for lunch. Rib Eye....GRRRREAT!!!

Even the enchiladas were good at this "steakhouse." Every single thing was great!
