Had problem with central AC units. Process to repair was slow due to unforeseen problems, not from lack of effort. Units are working perfect now. Abby was great through out the whole process.

Excellent company to work with. I have an older home and had barely any insulation. I also had an older hot water heater. I had estimates from 5 different companies and Building Sciences performed the extensive evaluation. They also participate in the NJ energy rebate program (as did 2 other companies I got estimates from). the owner, Rashid, came to my house the day of the assessment and then discussed what my house needed to become more energy efficient. I qualified for the NJ state rebate and they took care of ALL the paperwork,. All I needed to do was apply for the interest free loan through NJ state energy rebate program All his staff were courteous and pleasant to work with. They came on time every day, were polite and always cleaned up. I passed inspection for the rebate and from the township. all work was done up to code. I noticed the difference immediately with the insulation. A/C is much more effective and now my house stays at 72 Over the last few weeks with the >100 degree days, house stayed a cool 72. My PSEG bill was 20% less than last year at this same time Bottom line..... If you have poor insulation, getting new insulation with air sealing WILL improve how your house cools (and heats) and you WILL save on energy bills. I 100% recommend Building Sciences to perform this work. Would use them again and again if I needed to.

Our Weil McLein steam boiler stopped working. We called PSE&G, who we had a worry free guarantee with, who came out and told us it had a crack and needed to be replaced. We called around and had about 6 heating companies come out to give us a quote on the job. Most came in, looked at the BSU, if even, then shot us a price and were in and out within 5-15 minutes. Everett from Building Science returned our call and when he heard that we had no heat at all and on a Friday night, arranged for the senior project manager Steve to come out to our home. Despite being out all day, the fact that he was squeezing us in and that it was later in the evening, Steve sat down with us for almost an hour. He took measurements, he checked specs, he drew us pictures of how and why things weren't working, how they should be working and why the cost is what it is and discussed payments and financing with us. Their satisfaction guarantees were very fair and were above and beyond what anyone else had offered to us. He fit us in first thing that Monday morning. The crew came out on time, explained what they would be doing, they were professional, put down tarps and coverings to keep our flooring clear, got the old boiler out, go the new one in, swept the floors after and were done 2 hours before their estimated finishing time. I cannot express enough how impressed I am with their professionalism and their quality work. They were worth every penny.

My experience with building sciences was fantastic. My wife and I planned on doing this conversion for a year with another company. Right before the project. We were told they could not acquire the permits because they were unable to provide our town request for heat loss calculations. After doing some searching on the internet we found them. The customer service is excellent. Abigail the office manager was very patience and answered all our questions. Even rashid the owner was easily accessible and kept us updated on the permit process. They were able to get the heat loss calculations we needed. The job was done with perfection by the two contractors George and ontorio. Very punctual hard working people. They explained everything they were doing if I had any concerns.Trust and believe if your doing this work you need someone that knows what their really doing. This is the company to go with. They didn't install my Boiler/Hot water heater properly, were unable to resolve the issue, and they are extremely unresponsive - you have to call and leave a message multiple times, send them multiple emails, and then maybe they will call you back in a week or two which is unacceptable and not professional. I will be contacting the appropriate regulatory authority and also my lawyer.
