Buhler Recreational Park Review

The diamonds get to be in worse condition every year and there are still gate fees, the went from $2 to $3 a few years ago and I have not seen any improvements. The batters boxes are dug in deep and now it is getting soft around the bases. All they seem to do is add more sand and now home plate is below field level.

I think all of the diamonds can use an overhaul and get packed down properly with proper sand. I would also love to see the same batters boxes that I have seen at Little Mountain... who made improvements AND stopped gate fees.

Probably one of the worst soccer facilities in the city. In the middle of nowhere, very little grass, mainly dirt fields, goalposts aren't even straight, I've seen tire marks from cars doing doughnuts on the field. Would not recommend. 1/5

Beautiful grass. The outfields are fantastic. Great facility. Only reason why it isn't 5 stars are bathrooms aren't maintained throughout a tournament. It's like a beginning and end of day thing. So they get pretty messy.

Soccer fields are in much better shape than in previous years. Grass is thick and no mud spots. Porta potties could use some improvement.

It's a ripoff that players have to pay to get in to play after we pay our team fees.

Decent enough Pitch for a soccer field (there are 4 fields at this facility). That's where the positives end. It's a decent drive outside the city, very prone to windy days, and is severely overrun by geese, leading to unpleasant droppings everywhere. I'm happy to have the fields, but a little more maintenance to keep the geese at bay or at least clean up after them, would go a long way.

Just wish we didn't have to pay for admission when we pay for team fees.

What an outstanding ball diamond set up so beautifully. I'm especially impressed that Johnny Buhler donated to it. I have one of his tractors what a fine piece of engineering. It shifts starts and stops. But I'm now rambling about tractors and not ball diamonds. So nice field, oh and they serve beer which is great who dosen't want to watch under 12 girls ball and have a couple beers so good.

The diamonds are generally very well taken care of and the canteen has a lot of options. I hate paying to enter as a player; it uses up many card transactions or you have to ready change.

Soccer fields aren't in good condition. It seems like the fields have 2 sets of lines after they make changes to the field. We've found dangerous metal objects on the field.
