Amazing tour. Very informative. The grounds are beautiful and you're allowed to walk around alone to most places. There is more than one free tour. They're numbered so you can go on different ones. There is also a hard hat tour with lots of stairs. Registration is required. Great gift shop and free tasting. Best to go with someone to split the tasting with. You only get to try two. Sharing is allowed though.

I loved everything about my visit to Buffalo Trace! The grounds and buildings are gorgeous. The gift shop was large and offered bourbon inspired gifts for everyone. The highlight of my visit was the tour. Our guide, Freddie Johnson, was so knowledgeable and passionate. It was contagious! It was such a treat to follow him along the beautiful grounds, rick houses and bottling plant while learning all about bourbon. The tasting upstairs at the end of the tour was amazing as well. We got to sample Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare and the Bourbon Cream. All delicious! We also got to try some bourbon chocolates. It was such a fun and memorable experience. We can't wait to go back!

Loved visiting the distillery. We decided to visit on a whim and were excited that we could jump in the tour group without prior reservations. The tour was very informative about not only the Buffalo Trace history but on bourbon history as well. The prices in the gift shop were very fair! Would recommend to anyone interested in bourbon and wanting to go on a tour.

This distillery was my favorite out of the five we visited on our bourbon trail trip. The tour started in the bourbon history room for self-exploration while waiting for the guide. Once the guide arrived we were given the history of the distillery, got to walk through the barrel warehouses, then tasted several spirits including a white dog whiskey, bourbon creme and organic vodka in addition to bourbon. Unlike most distilleries this one is located in a major town and easy to get to.

Excellent tour, with a knowledgeable tour guide. The tasting was also excellent. The only feedback to the distillery is that they should actually sell the broad selection of bourbon that they make in the shop. The selection sold at the shop was abysmal to say the least. It's a bit ridiculous that you can't get the rarer labels when you are right at the source.

Buffalo Trace is a go to for us and we ve managed to collect all of the Blanton s letters now (with the help of the last one at the gift shop, which I don t think is cheating). Didn t get a tour with Freddie, my husband s spirit animal, but did take the ghost tour with Debra. She had stories that put chills down your spine! Able to try their bourbon creme with Freddie s root beer - note to self, it s amazing! Thanks for everything y all!
