The food and service was excellent.

The food and service was excellent.
They are on point with their safety and procedures during this time.
The restaurant wasn't crowded, tables were safely spaced apart both inside and outside.
Although the menus wasn't large, the selection and presentation was impeccable.

The cheese platter I ordered was delicious.

The grilled chicken with a side salad dressed in a strawberry dressing and gets cheese paired perfectly together.

The burgers were an excellent portion as well as the penne pasta.
Prices were reasonable and the best part was, live entertainment and the view.

Highly recommend

Very enjoyable afternoon matinee theater experience. Show (Buddy Holly) was very entertaining with lots of great music. BCP is a fine venue in scenic town. Playhouse offers valet parking, which beats hunting for parking in New Hope. Ate lunch at the Deck, a new restaurant connected with the Playhouse; food was certainly acceptable and service was good. You can find more accomplished restaurants in New Hope, but you probably can't beat the convenience or the view.

Love the theater, but have to admit I couldn't stand the play based on the board game Clue. The performances were stellar, and it was so exciting to see Sally Struthers live, as I watch her whenever I can on Antenna TV as Archie Bunker's daughter Gloria, but my opinion is that this Clue play really sucks. I just didn't find the humor funny, but I guess I'm spoiled by the genuinely funny humor of Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers every night. Also, I'm an animal lover, so I found the shooting of the two (toy) cats tasteless, stupid, and insensitive. Some dolts in the audience thought dead cats falling from a balcony was hilarious. Give me a break. That's humor for 8-year-olds. The five stars are for the theater and the acting there, but I wouldn't give the Clue play even one star.

Intimate theatre. The Bridge Deck is a new fun addition for drinks, snacks, or meal before or after performance with side entrance to show and during intermission. Great shows and plays.

I love the Playhouse. This time I saw "Million Dollar Quartet," which I have seen on Broadway. This show was favorably comparable.
In prior years, I have visited more frequently and always love the town and the experience.

The theater was renovated about 3 years ago, and they have continued with the renovations. Their sets are much nicer/professional too. Their productions are another story. Some have been bad. So read the reviews of each production before going.

Although the shows put on here are good, and the stars they are able to secure for their plays are somewhat famous, we have never run across a theatre that is so uncaring to their good customers. We've lost count of how many dollars we've spent here over the years, probably thousands, and on more than one occasion when we were stuck with an extra ticket that we had bought, their box office has flatly refused us to attempt to re - sell the ticket, or even do something as simple as offering us credit for a future production ! No way to treat their better customers .

Great fun time always staff and shows. Never a bad time or show. Then walk in the town to all the shops and bars so close to them. During the summer they have outside bar area and singers. Great views of the Delaware river and look across to see New Jersey on the other side. Fun for the whole family day or night out. Can not wait for warm weather to sit out on the patio they have. They always have a different type of show every few weeks each season........

Have been to 4 shows here since renovation. All of the productions were excellent, however there are a few things that need to be addressed. First of all, parking is a mess and way too expensive, no matter where you park . Same goes for the restroom situation. It's a major hassle. Third , and most important are the senior audiences that usually attend the matinee performances. They talk throughout the shows as if they were home in their living rooms, at times, they sing along with the show ( Buddy Holly show was a perfect example ) and are very rude and entitled when you politely ask them to be quiet. My wife and friends have stopped attending matinees there and recommend evening performances to avoid this situation. Just because you're a senior does not entitle you to ruin everyone else's evening. I wish the staff there would be a bit more dedicated to see that these types of nuisances are seen to in an amicable and swift manner. Otherwise, I recommend this venue highly

I have seen at least 10 productions at the Bucks County Playhouse within the last 4 years and every musical or play has been excellent. Every seat has a good view and the sound quality is outstanding. This is my preferred venue in the area.

Depends on the play, but the location itself is pretty cool! It's a great little place near the river to eat a packed lunch with small kids when you're looking for shade and safety for kids that want to walk around a bit.

Beautiful space. Great space to relax and enjoy the river. The burger was far larger than expected, but definitely delicious. The kielbasa appetizer was good, though we weren't a fan of the potatoes. Highly recommend the home made soda.

Nice comfortable venue offering SAG performers in excellent shows. Just saw "The Blues Brothers Review", sanctioned by Dan Ackroyd. It was terrific. They have also opened "Ten Deck", a restaurant/bar on the side of the theater offering unique dishes. Table service reception was pleasant, seating us earlier than our reservation. Waiter was uninthusiastic, area very noisy. Bar servicer (Claire) much nicer. We sat on stolls at the window, and she took good care of us.
