For the past 10 years I've been coming to this theater there have been so many improvements done to the building. It looks better than ever and has a new deck restaurant. The only thing that hasn't changed is the talent and the quality of the shows. Every show I've seen have been amazing! Rocky Horror (coming again this fall) played last year and I'm so excited it's back as the crew really hit it out of the park! Definitely coming back to see this one.
Just saw Mamma Mia last night and it was spectacular! Earlier this year I also saw Dial M for Murder and the show was also spectacular. For a local playhouse this is the best I've seen.

Cheap prices good parking and a very nice theater. Everything about it is good. It's why I keep going back for more shows when done you can walk around the adorable town for a great night

The play we saw was good, but the prices for parking and snacks were insultingly high. No outside food, not even water and they charged $3 for a regular sizes bottle of water. Most theaters will have water set up for free at intermission. The tickets were expensive enough to warrant free parking, or at least validated reduced rate parking.

Saw "Guy's & Dolls" with a group of six tonight. It was an extremely enjoyable and professional production, with a a talented group of actors. We had a great time. The evening was certainly enhanced by the ambiance of the playhouse with its comfortable seating, good acoustics, adequate restrooms, and dedicated staff.
I'll definitely return from NY when a new production strikes my fancy.

Best Playhouse on the river, in the country, in a red building, whatever. Tired old retreads of shows that have been performed ad infinitum. A bunch of blue hairs, bused in, no creativity, no originality. Such a shame that a place like this can be the McDonalds of theater.

Unfortunately, very rude manager working today.

Snooty management =may not come back.
We paid $120 to attend your afternoon play... And I was distracted by a poor customer service interaction. Other staff was great and seemed to understand the difficult management.

The play was spectacular. Very friendly cast. Always a shame to have a bad experience while supporting the local arts.

Great venue! Of course every production is different, but the one I saw ("Guys and Dolls" in August 2017) was fabulous. I had seats in the 7th row, but it didn't appear that there was a bad seat in the house.

First time there in December. I Saw Scrooge in December. I enjoyed the play and the actors and the food was really good. It's a fun place. The actors interacted with everyone before the play and entertained the kids. I never had valet parking before so it was interesting but it's a good entertaining family friendly place.

I have seen two shows at Bucks County Playhouse... One they produced and one from an outside group, and they were both awesome. There isn't a bad seat in the house.
Also, they sell some snacks and drinks in a special cup that you can take into the theater. I haven't been yet, but they also recently opened the Deck, and I plan to get there early next time for a drink and an app before the show.

Love this historical theater right in our backyard! We've seen 5 shows here recently and we're blown away each time. Parking can be challenging, however they have friendly valet attendants to greatly simplify that

Went to see The Rocky Horror show. Front row seats were amazing! Arrived there 15-20minutes before show. Easy in and out. Adequate parking in their lot and additional parking on the street (the show was at 11pm on fri night)... Friendly service -great little venue.

Delightful theater. Bigger than you would expect but the sound quality is very high. Parking in New Hope is tight in general but much more so around this theater around showtime. You should try to be there a full hour before curtain. Shows start on time.

We saw 42nd Street. The cast was wonderful. The location was amazing. We did reserve parking (since New Hope parking is difficult on weekends, so it was well worth the price to avoid issues). There isn't a bad seat, it's intimate without being tiny, and comfy. This will be a go to place from now on.

I was at the play house for the first time a couple weeks ago and I have issues with the playhouse staff not the entertainment. I loved the Patsy Kline show immensely and I would see it again in another location. The staff in the restaurant and bar were kind and friendly and very accommodating. Yet the staff in the playhouse was so rude, they opened the bathroom door during intermission and it took your privacy away. The entire audience was singing and dancing in their seats yet an user came over and told me to quiet down do to the fact that one man behind me was miserable. (why attend a musical is all I am saying). Then my friend had nervous leg and needed to stand in the back to watch the end of the show and was told to sit down do to fire regulations. I understand safety yet they could of led her to a better place to stand so she could of enjoyed the end of the show. So bottom line go have dinner and drinks and find the same show in another location.

A beautiful little gem tucked into New Hope. The show we saw, Mamma Mia, was Broadway quality. The singers (lead & cast) all had beautiful voices and were excellent actors & actresses. The music was fun and very well presented. While I'm not a big ABBA fan, I still thought the play was first class. Well done from beginning to end (the scenery really was great too).

fantastic show, I watched the ebenzer scrooges Christmas special, it was awesome. I believe today's the last show and I strongly recommend it. playhouse is simple but elegant, I appreciate the bathrooms being inside the house, making bathroom visits less awkward. 10/10
