Our son and daughter attended Buck's Rock for the first time this past summer. They did the intro 2-week camp which is a great way to begin a sleep away experience. Noah and Scott are so warm and inviting and make you feel like family. The kids wanted to stay all summer long! The campus is sprawling and beautiful. Buck's Rock is a singular camp experience. Your child has access to so many creative outlets in one place - I believe there are 36 different shops! Noah has sustained a remarkable oasis, where everyone is created equally and each person is able to tap into their own unique talents and build from any new curiosities. Empathetic, independent, confident kids are the result. Thank you Buck's Rock!

My twin 15-year-olds went to Buck s Rock Art Camp for the first time this past summer. The camp is in a beautiful, wooded area, with a wide variety of workshops in a village-like setting. Kids are given the independence to decide for themselves which workshops to attend throughout each day. I thought my kids would spend their time in drawing and painting and sculpture, but they were drawn to metalsmithing and woodworking (but there s more than 25 workshops to choose from) and made some professional looking pieces. The experience overall was not only wonderful in terms of developing their skills and creativity, but also in terms of becoming independent making choices for themselves about where they spent their time each day and what they made. They want to go back next year as CITs!

Great arts camp. My kid had a lot of fun and made some cool projects. I wish there was a lake or a better pool because that part is very underwhelming especially for the price of the camp. Also not very many pictures. Again for the price I would like to be able to see my kid more than once every week and a half. The camp itself is very cool though. They let the kids explore the arts from stage, to glassblowing to pottery and puppetry a great camp for those that are creative.

Our oldest son has attended this camp for the last five years and is now a CIT. Our youngest went for the first time last year. Both boys count the days till camp starts in summer with the same excitement and anticipation they feel counting down to Christmas in winter! There is an atmosphere at Bucks Rock that is completely unique and inspiring; you can feel it even just walking around as a visitor. Both of our kids have gained so much experience in terms of their art, and in their personal and social development, from their time at Bucks Rock. They also have many happy memories!

We have 2 kids that went to Buck's Rock. They loved their experience. All the programs were fun and well organized. There is a variety or classes to take, something for everyone. The kids at Buck's Rock are nice, the counselors are caring and knowledgeable and the folks who run the camp are very organized and thorough.

My son has gone there for two years, the first year he blossomed in learning guitar, culinary arts and his Favorite Glass blowing. Among many of the wonderful activities that he tried and enjoyed. He met some great friends that he still keeps in touch with. In this last year he came home with an amazing assortment of hand blown glass vases and began explains the technical aspects of glassblowing. This camp fosters the creativity of its campers in a wonderful environment. I have recommended this camp to all our friends.

My ten year old son was a first time camper this year. He attended with the goal of learning to play a few short targeted songs on a glockenspiel. The staff was aware of this, and accomplished this goal and so much more. He learned to play music by Vivaldi, to blow glass, to make a model and cast it in metal, to work with wood and to digitally edit photographgs. He had a wonderful time and wants to return next year; bringing the rest of the family. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming.

These were two of the best summers of my life. I was a young queer girl, who didn't know it and this place nurtured me and helped me to feel loved. I went in 2002&2003, It's no small statement to say that I am the person I am today because of this incredible place. Thank you <3

They did not refund camp tuition despite camp being cancelled in 2020. I have fought with Arch insurance for 8 months to only be reimbursed for 75% of my daughters tuition despite having medical documentation for cancelling her camp.

Buck's Rock knew camp would be cancelled due to Covid. They encouraged families to purchase the premium insurance at $400 so they wouldn't have to refund the money and then tuition wasn't fully reimbursed. They were happy to collect the tuition money and keep it despite camp being cancelled.

I have paid for camp and the service wasn't provided.
