Quality of food is awful. Long john silvers has better quality food

Spent 98 dollars on my anversrey it was not worth it service was bad and fries and shrimp was cold told waiter about it she said manager was not there to talk with me

Serve fast, nice place with sea view or not, fresh seafood.

Very tasty as always. We had the beer steamed peel & eat shrimp with garlic seasoning as well as the spinache, artichoke, pepperjack dip w/fresh corn chips. Perfect lunch for people on the go.

Had a wonderful family meal. Great friendly staff and the food is worth the wait. It is quite crowded and you will have to wait awhile to get in but have a fabulous seaside shopping in area to enjoy while you wait for your text to tell you your table is ready.

We ordered an item that isn't on the menu any more---the Bucket of Boat Trash. I remember it as having steamed or boiled items. When it arrived, everything except the crab legs was breaded and fried. I don't care for Alaskan crab. I prefer Dunginess crab (like I get in the wharf in SF). And I prefer it cold. These legs were warm and there wasn't much meat. Strike one. My SO got all of mine. We moved in to the breaded shrimp and cod. Neither were very appetizing. Soggy French fries completed the meal. I'd been waiting for some time to come back here. Now I wish we have driven over an hour just to get here.

My girlfriend and I went about 5 in the afternoon and the food along with the service was phenomenal. Definitely a special place.

Every time we go to the US, we go to bubba gump for a day, it's a little bit of guiri, but its shrimp are very good. Especially the assortment of different types of prawns with French fries. Very good!!!
Today we have ordered a Bloody Mery and I recommend it is very good. Be bubba gump, is not the most beautiful decorated, but there are very good views of the ocean.

Pretty slow service for our group of 11. The staff was very kind, it just took 20 or more minutes after being seated before taking our order. Great food and fun atmosphere!

Food was mediocre at best, was quite disappointing to be honest as i thought it will be really good, overpriced ...the juices however were excellent and the service is top notch, views were spectacular

First time in...... Great way to send tume with my hubby. And we got free cuos with the purchase of our drinks

Waited along to come and eat here. We ordered Garlic Bread and never received it nor was it even on the order. The New Orleans Shrimp that I ordered was told that it was not spicy and it was very! Sent it back and got another meal. The waiter was not anywhere to be found and the service was uncalled for. We were over charged for a drink which they don't tell you that they charge additional charge for the glass but, advised us that it was included. For the price they charge you would think that it would have been better. Would I return, I am not sure but, I know not this one.

Meals are average and the environment is a bit noisy

Of the two entrees we ordered one came out cold. So we sent the crab legs back for hot ones. I had been finished with my meal for fifteen minutes before the new crab legs came out. And the manager Rui didn't fix the situation, he actually made it worse by dismissing us and avoiding the situation and interrupting our complaint with a " I'll let you enjoy your meal and abruptly walked away..not dealing with it at all. Enjoy my meal..really. That will definitely be the last time we dine there. We will definitely be calling corporate about this..there was no attempt in fixing anything.

Traveling from Wisconsin, with my Grandchildren we really enjoyed the coast and Bubba Gump's was there favorite dining experience. They both tried Shrimp for the first time it was a hit.

The food was actually really good. Our waitress was so mad that we didn't sign up for the rewards thing that she walked away without taking our order. She eventually came back. Maybe the have a quota they have to meet???

Little disappointed with this place! But if you like the movie, you may find this place intriguing!

It is an American restaurant with a loud and lively atmosphere. It is said that it is made by borrowing various scenes and points from the name of Baba Gump to the forest Gump. Every employee who goes to the table with a birthday party claps and sings and is energetic. There are so many people and the food is delicious in America. Shrimp is the main ingredient and the shrimp dish is okay. You can bring plastic cups like iced tea and beer as souvenirs.

2 stars because my party liked their food. However do not get the po boy. Imagine the flashback scene from the terminator movie where the bomb went off and melted the skin off Sarah Conor left her in ashes.. those ashes would be less dry then the sandwich I had. Oh yea, and a server drank from a cup behind the counter thinking no one would see... and then gave it to an infant, so there's that....

Great place, awesome people, fun atmosphere, and best of all... delicious food.
Matt was awesome, his attitude and enthusiasm as he greeted my party and guided us to our table was outstanding. Fabrice was our waiter and he was awesome as well, he was willing to strike up a conversation and was really friendly.

Just OK. Staff was friendly, but food was nothing special. They like to try and push their pricey drinks with a glass to take home.

Fun place to eat. Lots to look at inside the restaurant and being right on the waters edge gave some great views also! The food was good and the service was good!

Our only complaint was it was almost as cold inside as it was outside. It's not fun when you can feel your nose starting to run because it's so cold inside and then the food within 2 minutes of being to the table is already cold.

Very good food. Fun decor. Wifi was useful. Kid friendly with activity sheets and plastic cups. Service is sketchy. Hostess seemed to not want to seat guests. We asked for the empty table beside us when we were shown the table she chose for us. She said no to us with the reason that the next table had no server, so we couldn't sit there. It was literally on the otherside of the bench/booth seating we were given. We were disappointed but ok until 5mins later a couple was seated at that exact table. Irritating but also funny that we could over hear the couple saying they wanted to sit closer to the windows for a better view but didn't ask to move cuz they felt the hostess seemed grumpy as well. View is exceptional right on the shore line facing the ocean.

We had a wonderful experience thanks to our waitress. She explained every dish I was interested in and my cold yummy margarita. We ordered apple, cheese cake/ strawberry for dessert (her favorite she recommended it) and now my favorite too. The views are beautiful!

Food was great and the drinks were so good too ! I love the souvenir cups ideas although I did not get one. Thank you to Scott for your service ! The atmosphere is so cool with a few great photo places. I suggest getting a window seat because the view is nice and when you take a picture it looks like u are sitting on the ledge - not behind a window. The entree mash potato is to die for, please get it !!

This chain restaurant was right on the water. The food was okay. The best thing about it was they had a patio that you could bring your dog on.

Love the movie so it is always fun to go and have the experience not to mention saw some dolphins swimming in the bay

A lot of the popularity of this restaurant is the hype and the novelty of the movie. The food has always been ok, but now due to the COVID restrictions the restaurant service and food is less than acceptable. If you haven't tried the restaurant, I recommend you wait until things normalize

Good food. Varied menu. Bloody Mary was kind of weak. Servers are mostly inexperienced but friendly.

Local tourist trap. Nice views, food is average. Staff wear headsets like they are running security for a casino. Lots of fun movie set photos and props.

We had the Calamari and Clam Chowder it was great. The prices are a little high but the food was good.

A little touristy, but great for large groups. We had a party of 12 and were able to get in with only an hours notice for reservation. The staff was really great and able to get everyone s orders and deliver exactly what we wanted. Really a great option.

The shrimps are good and food is reasonably priced. The service can be improved. Takes long time to serve people and the entrance can be very crowded at times. Their website said they close at 10 pm on Saturdays but they said, they are not taking any customers after 8 pm.

I don't know if it's just the Monterey location or something changed, but I remember the shrimp and fish being better. The service is usually good and the prices are a little on the high side of medium. That won't stop me from eating there, but I'll definitely take a better option if one is available.

Food is ok , view is awesome but the experience is is more for Forrest gum fans. Definitely a fun place to visit for family..

Food was great as usual. But it's always so packed. I dont like that the women's bathroom only has 2 stalls, one of them has a changing table. The mens restroom has more space and i almost had to change my baby in there, because its what the servers suggested since the ladies room is always crowded (very tiny) and lines out the door. I declined the suggestion and ended up waiting. By the time I was done changing my baby, my food had arrived and was cold. In total the wait for a stall, with the changing table, was around 25mins.

I have no idea how come such a place has received so many nice reviews.

I took my kid to this place for lunch a couple of days ago. We had a stroller with us, and the lady at the front desk didn't mention anything about it. However, when the waitress who led us to the table saw the stroller, she literally yelled at us saying "No stroller in the restaurant! This is the rule!". Very rude and impatient.

After we were seated, for over 30 minutes, the waiter serving the table didn't bring the water to us, even though there were only a handful of customers in the restaurant and he was not busy at all. We dined for another half an hour or so, didn't get any water refill. Food was mediocre, definitely not worth the price.

Not impressed with the food or the service on my visit. Typical chain restaurant in a touristy location. I gave it a shot and regretted it.
