Got to make an exclusive visit to the London BT tower with the Google City Experts team and loved it, stunning views of the city with a 360 degree revolving floor, a must see and great place to watch the sun go down over London

I had the privilege of being on the top of the tower and the view on London is amazing. Not the highest building in London, but due to its central position you can see all the important landmarks that the city has to offer. And the floor rotates. Sick. :)

Great building to visit, security is tight as you would expect for a major UK land mark.

The post boxes on display are great and the views from the observation deck are exceptional, if you get a chance for a tour go for it, you will not be disappointed...... oh, and the high speed lifts are great lol

I guess a lot of people who visit London would not miss this building, which is understandable given its size and prominence. However after I have been there, I do not think it justifies the hype, so bottom-line go there only if you have nothing else to do or if it is a rainy day.

Of course your mileage might vary.

This is one of those iconic buildings that is just part of the wallpaper of life in London, visible froma long way away from many parts of town. You can catch glimpses of it if you're in the west end. That dude it isn't a tourist attraction per se. They no longer offer a dining experience. Good for a couple of quick snaps.

Fantastic venue for a business meeting always wanted to take a trip up the most iconic building in London,

Amazing views, great and friendly staff. Easy to get to with only a mile to walk from the nearest tube station. The fact you can be so high up in the sky and the building you are on revolves is seriously impressive. If you get the chance to go then do, you won't regret it.

It s been closed to the general public for over 30 years but for one night only London s City Experts were allowed to take a trip up inside the iconic BT Tower! London is an amazing city with so much to see that it only becomes even more incredible with height. There are a lot of places you can do this in the city from the London Eye to Monument to the Shard but getting to go somewhere that is usually off-limits is an even bigger thrill!

Whizzing up to the top at a whopping 600 feet per minute (not even close to the elevators top speed of 1400 feet) we braced ourselves as we exited the lift to some of the most amazing views of the city I have ever seen. I almost forgot to grab a welcome drink I was so excited! I didn t know which way to look! Naturally I gravitated towards the East and Canary Wharf as that s my side of the city. (Isn t it odd how we choose a side when you move to London?) Watching the city light up was so incredibly magical and my favourite part of the evening.

Great

If you ever get the opportunity to go out BT Tower, grab it with both hands because it's not often you'll get the chance.

I was able to visit during the annual Open House London event and the views are breathtaking. I've been to many spots where you can great views of London skyline. But this is the only one where you can get it in busy central London. In that way, it's quite unique.

Expect airport-style security but once you're through, you'll be guided past the mini BT Tower exhibition that explains all about its history and then to lifts to the top.

The top is modern and gone are any features that once made it a restaurant. The BT Tower does revolve but at a slow 5 miles per hour, you'll barely notice it until you look at the floor. It's an amazing 360-degree view of London. You can see the City, Wembley, Battersea. You name it, you'll see it.

Sometimes, biscuits and refreshments are generously provided. There's not much else to do but the views are worth it alone. You can easily spend one hour here marvelling at the views.

Highly recommended and as I say, grab that chance to visit with both hands when you get it.

Beautifully kept building with amazing London views. Polite customer engaging staff throughout which includes but is not limited to catering, AV crew, and security. The restaurant rotates. You will need to get special permission to visit this venue as it is no longer a publicly open attraction but reservations may be made for private functions.

An iconic London building. As it's usually closed to the public, you'll have to grab an opportunity to visit whenever it arises! The views of the city are spectacular of course, and the rotating floor is just the icing on the cake. A well-loved part of the skyline.
